    [Music] the 2024 Ford ride London classy consists of three stages all being suited to the sprinters stage one takes the Riders from Saffron Walden to Colchester a 159 km stage the world champion L keki is back on the start line too Danish Champion Rebecca kerer and Lyn totenberg of sertis at wnt Pro cycling formed a breakaway Duo the worked well together and were greeted by plenty of school children who were having a wonderful day seeing their Idols pass by The Duo persisted holding off a ferocious Paton but were caught with 15 km to go team DSM Fermin postnl and Leal Tre took it up at the front to set the pace on the narrow roads it lent itself to another attack former British champion Alice towers made her move Hansen trying to bridge across two Riders LED stage one but the chase behind never really relented the duo were caught with 7 km remaining team SD Works Pro time took on the responsibility as did unox Mobility it was going to be a fierce final into Colchester as they sped down the roads into the final SD Works Pro time had the control it was the world champion L keki who was leading out Lena weees confid AR was there as was the British champion f for Georgie who was ready to unleash her Sprinter charlotta Cole all coming into the final it was still kapaki on the front and she delivered a rocket to the Finish Line wee is coming through and no one was able to respond pster attempted ASD caponi but in the end it was Daylight for weees she wins stage one Lorena Weis had a textbook lead out from her teammates at SD Works Pro time she wins stage one into Colchester actually I had to finish the teamwork off because the girls were chasing all day and controlling the Breakaway actually it was a good situation for us the three and later two girls in front yeah we keep uh the Gap controllable and yeah F Christine did did really good so we had to finish it off today we wanted to have a aggressive race and also like be out front with U at least one Rider and luckily I was one who got to get away and I’ve been looking really forward to get into a real Breakaway and today I succeeded so I’m really happy about that Lorena Weis wins stage one ahead of Letizia patina and claraa Capone after that Victory Lorena webis leads the general classification she also leads the Sprint classification whilst Rebecca kerer leads the queen of the mountains classification Elanor gasparini is the best young Rider whilst mon Greenwood is the best British Rider wee is wins ahead of pster Capon conf theary and Cole whilst in the general classification it’s wee is ahead of pansta and caponi we’ll see you tomorrow for stage two [Music]
