We made the short ride to the historic town of La Rochelle for a bit of exploring in the intense summer heat. Being Brits, we couldn’t go more than ten minutes without remarking on the temperature, but don’t let that put you off the video – there are sharks in it, too.

today we’re going to go to the aquarium in La Rochelle and it’s 10 a.m in the morning and I’ve got 27 degrees what have you got uh 29. it’s gonna be a warm day we’re planning on wasting it inside a little bit not wasting spending yeah spending time spending time but the aquarium in our shell is really good and then we can see a bit of um the town after I guess yeah yeah hopefully we can leave all our stuff for the bikes I think it’s gonna be a nice day I want to see my mate the spider Club again because I danced with him last time I wasn’t here sent you a video of that yeah I know you did down though no but maybe it’s because he’s in the city it’s a small road yeah maybe you send a pile through Bristol and power through Western though maybe it’s different rules here yeah maybe I mean there’s not much value in causing an accident on your way to a job as a I might have to undo my jacket I’m hot could be a good show actually look there’s any airflow to get through thank you there’s something happening there I can hear it but I can’t see it helicopter right above the head this is a mess in it a little bit oh mirrors no I can’t I did well that was hot for a minute wouldn’t it it was so it’s a bit of Chinese style riding that’s the roundabout first exit oh there it is oh hello where are we going through here then go around the roundabout but yeah I think go around the round one and straighten up and go in there yeah maybe I think that’s what it was telling you to do well let’s go in here come back out again this is buses and taxes only about it yeah we’ve got to go back day it’s a bit sweaty yeah a bit sway we’ve literally just soaked ourselves with a bottle of water and we are now dry again so oh let’s get some wind on these wet neckers yeah well it doesn’t even go that way oh I think when it doesn’t even go that way I think your top boxes um undone is it yeah the handles out can I just put it back yeah just put the handle it I still Finish Line at 34 degrees mainta’s 41. oh that t-shirt this is a good idea yeah I can feel that the neck is gone now I can’t feel that’s awesome I’ve gone down to 40.5 I thought I’m a 41 now really yeah it’s actually exaggerating it takes a little while for it to sort itself out obviously um wow stay there oh these kids Supermarket Casino where’s the entrance where’s the entrance where’s the entrance where’s the entrance I do well wet gloves white gloves yeah sweaty inside probably and they’re really hard to get on my jacket’s moving we just did some obligatory top up of the shopping because I don’t want to eat cheese and bread for dinner again today because I had it for lunch already oh yeah that was a bit rubbish went to a nice restaurant in the top of the aquarium which is nice the issue was that there was only cheese for me to eat if I was a vegan I’d be screwed I can’t imagine doing this and then camping especially wild camping at the end of it probably people do it we know that but hmm definitely isn’t for me no but anyway it’s been a lovely day it’s been very hot very sweaty gotta get home get some stuff in the fridge and have a shower yeah [Music] several hours later [Music] oh yeah we’ve been adopted it’s a very small community here and um we were kidnapped at gunpoint yeah to this lot of people here yeah so it’s not bad yeah we’re the only people apart from two to speak English and uh but their English is way better than our French Chinese attempted to but I didn’t want to put on this one so we’re just chilling we’re going to go in home in a minute because we’ve got to get up at seven o’clock in the morning to go to a beach we’ve been giving the um a heads up about yeah we’re giving a recommendation which is good so um yeah have a good night all right beautiful here though yeah have a look [Music] and the woman aren’t you too close to me and the woman you’re going up to two years old you would not believe she’s been in the background the rest of the video I think and she accosted me earlier on made me come here how could you say no to that yeah she’s stronger than she lives right we gotta go see you tomorrow [Music]
