Hello all!

At home I am a keen road cyclist but I’ve moved to London recently just for the year so only brought my single speed, which was a conversion of a track bike so lacks the mount for a rear brake. I’m not prepared for riding fixed yet but wondered if it was a good idea to go out on the roads properly with just the front brake.

This is the route I am planning to do early early morning let me know if it’s wise, seems to be all pretty normal roads so don’t need to worry about braking too much: https://www.komoot.com/smarttour/e825663593/chigwell-and-epping-loop-from-london-fields
