Meine erste FSD supervised V12.3.4 Fahrt! Chicago Downtown! Vielen Dank an Jon von https://youtube.com/@techgeektesla1854?si=3amAJ0xsYD-LqEd0
My first FSD drive! Thanks Jon for this wonderful experience.
Check out Jons video with me about a great drive in Chicago with FSD supervised V12.3.4
this is Peter driving a self-driving car in downtown Chicago the car is doing everything on its own he is not providing any input to the steering wheel and nothing down below his feet aren’t doing anything here it just intelligently went around that car there and here a car randomly comes out in front of us didn’t have to do a single thing so uh what Peter is doing is monitoring the software the software is extra safe in and of itself and then on top of that Peter is there in addition to make sure that it doesn’t do anything stupid cuz that that’s the biggest worry with self-driving is that it’s going to upset somebody around you cuz let’s face it it’s not perfect I mean if it were perfect then it would be everywhere but it’s getting there it’s getting really really close Happ here a little bit of indecision with the lane yeah I know it figured it out it figured it out yep we do need to go right up here this is Michigan Avenue this is a very very popular Street in downtown Chicago we’ve got tons of people up here so we’ve got a lot of foot traffic and the display is going to show all these people which is kind of neat and right now the self-driving visualization is full screen so you can see all the people there and the light’s going to turn green and we’re going to go right and if I move over and see we’re just going to go right across the river and then up a couple blocks and then we’re going to delete that Waypoint right now we have that as a waypoint and then we’re going to take it down Lake Shore Drive to our final destination way over there so we’re going to see how well it does here still waiting for the light okay there go the light turned green I’m not doing anything and the car is going oh the construction site let’s see if it does it looks good yeah construction right here let’s see they got a lot of people and wow I’m not doing anything W made the turn Maring oh that’s perfect perfect and it chose the left lane which is good oh wow I think I don’t know what Lane it should be in no we going straight eventually eventually turning right so probably the other lane would would have been better that’s okay we have time to change the lane oh yes plenty of time to change the lane so going forward here still a construction zone wow okay got um it’s smart that it’s not in that far right lane because you can see those those cars stopping there we would be stuck behind them right now so it’s it’s staying in the Middle Lane which is exactly where we need to be and coming up here now it’s getting over to turn right onto Ohio Street and it changed length really naturally there to E Street that was perfect I didn’t do anything I’m just a passenger I’m controlling I’m taking care happens but I didn’t have to do anything so your foot is not doing anything down there I have it there just in case in but I’m not doing anything would it be really sure that nothing is happening it’s nice that we have the visualization now also in Germany you have that full screen we just yeah we just got it a few weeks ago just at the moment not everybody’s having it yet so it just showed up now oh wow that was that is good at least we have that that’s good a it’s so nice it’s so good it feels so good now we’ve got a lot of people here let’s see what it does oh Yeahs here I’m not doing anything look at all the people looking there okay I could go if it goes immediately wow nice that is incredible that was that was a have done it better now it’s going to the left side left lane cuz I think we have to go left oh yes that’s this one the next one mhm wow wow it’s so smooth and so natural so if you can imagine driving this down in the in the suburbs like a quieter area especially if you’re driving the same roads again and again you can get used to these repeatable scenarios where this is a very practical very you get a lot of utility out of using this on a daily basis here in the United States because of the um repeatability now turn left onto North Fairbanks court now it it was smart enough not to follow him yeah yeah thought he was going left that would have been that was good that would have been a nightmare if we ended up behind him yeah or her now we got against some pedestrians when you got a green light mhm that would be interesting right we’ve got some people they’re going to they’re now it’s their right their right away but now our light should turn green there it is there it is now this person ising coming let’s see what happens yeah she’s com is it going to wait for her yeah it’s waiting perfect now he is coming nice I love when they when I love when they look at you and they nod their head like you’re paying attention it’s so funny oh perfect 500 look at that turn right on to East E Street now wait a minute it got over too early yeah look at this bus up yeah stuck behind the bus yeah hopefully we don’t get stuck behind the bus see what he’s doing he can go to the left lane there’s nobody oh the bus is moving now okay okay good I got it now now turn right on to East Dey Street perfect now your Destin is on the right okay now I just deleted that way point so it’s going to keep going 500t turn right on to norer I didn’t do anything nice wow wow so this is a good reroute it’s going to take us out on the Lake Shore Drive which is a little bit okay now it’s taking care for these people here mhm okay I’m not pressing this now turn right on to you didn’t do anything I didn’t do anything I didn’t do anything since you started filming I didn’t do anything wow nothing it’s so unbelievable it’s not easy here look at all the people here got people here we got cars here parking it’s it’s not easy we got really bad Lane markings or none at all that is really good it’s really impressive and it feels safe it really feels good that is the best thing M wow that is so it says we’re dialed in for 34 milph max speed and it is obviously not going that speed but it can’t because there’s traffic in the way but it’s it feels like it’s going extra slow I don’t know why I feel comfortable 500 ft turn yeah I I do too it feels feels natural it’s okay here’s the yellow light these people here pass by these people here okay we take the next stop we go to the left and that’s good position correct it’s that next next light Illinois Avenue I think yep yeah illino read got two dogs I see a bicyclist and a stroller two strollers oh there’s two more tiny dogs over there usually the dogs don’t show up on the screen I mean they used to they used to show up a lot there was a dog did it show up yeah yeah it show a dog up on the other side no way okay now it’s going the acceleration is really good is that different from yeah it wouldn’t yeah on the highway with much slower acceleration left to East Illinois Street so you always have to press a gas pedal uh acceleration is that right to get it going okay now we going left you got the truck there going to go left y we do have the truck that is not so easy now because you have to go on the other side mhm let’s see what it does no it’s a oneway three door oh it is one you’re right you’re right fny that funny bicycle was between a motorcycle that hun at should I get no you’re fine just there’s a lot of crazy impatient drivers come on give it a break okay I press the gas better now I press the gas better don’t now okay fair enough yeah yeah too many impatient people in Chicago yeah so there was he could have it could have gone it could have been a little bit more assertive but it wasn’t bad yeah it was very slow but uh so I pressed accelerator so I did one thing there you go one intervention one intervention but it would have done it it would have it would have just people were too impatient understandably was too slow right oh look it’s going into the bike lane a little bit now turn right on to North Lake Shore Drive that’s right yeah Lake Shore Drive okay yeah we have to go right okay about people here in front of us I don’t see anything or I see something again in the shadow yeah oh is it going to wait for them yeah good that’s good good that’s good it wanted to go it was it was about to go wasn’t it but perfect they’re still on the road and it’s already going O Let’s see what it does here is it going to stay left it did it that made me nervous yeah me too little but it was everything was fine to nor Lake Drive don’t worry I was in situation to take over if it necessary yes oh good God that’s so difficult we don’t have that in Germany to take the us41 South to turn the wheel yeah I was looking because of the construction it still asks for feedback in those cases now we got up on the highway yes to go straight up on the highway wow I always feel the vibration from the bridge the car is shaking yes welcome to Chicago

Really an impressive drive! I didn't see any nudging on the steering wheel, isn't it necessary any more? Also, I wonder if FSD recognizes when it's being honked at 🤔
A small secret trick to avoid nudging. But with V12.4. It will be mostly gone anyway
Jon will post a video on his channel, so check it out!
