Time to rant:

Why do 99% of sites that sell cycling glasses (even the manufacturer's website) not include any sizing information?

I have a big head (60cm circumference, L in motorcycle helmets) but it's oval shaped, which means that looking from the front my head isn't wide.

I'm looking for decent cycling glasses that are modern (so not the ones with 2 separate lenses encased in a complete frame and nose bridge, but more of a one piece lens) and fit my head. What a nightmare. Most one-piece glasses I put on my face look as if I bought glasses that are 4 sizes too wide (the fit is never the problem, they all sit comfortably on my nose and above my ears, not too loose, not too tight), so I want narrower lenses. The problem is that nearly all glasses are sold online these days so you just have to spend $1500 on 8 pairs of glasses in the hopes that you can keep 1 pair and send the rest back, if you are lucky.

Here are a few examples of sites that show zero sizing info, since it seems some people don't believe it. There are plenty more but these are the first that come to mind:

    https://kooworld.cc/eu/en/product/sunglasses/supernova/
    https://saolar.com/fr-fr/collections/cycling-sunglasses
    https://www.bliz.com/product/product/hero-small-matt-black-smoke-w-silver-mirror–52211-10

Also, I've never encountered sizing info when looking for cyclic sunglasses on your average bike stuff website.

Because I know which glasses look too big on my face (since I tried them) it would be convenient to order glasses with a smaller lens, in width, but for that you have to know their dimensions.

Also, what's up with some of those pictures? Some manufacturers have men and women model the exact same glasses, and of course they both look fine in those glasses. Considering the fact that on average a woman's face is a lot smaller than a man's, how is this even possible?

Lots of brands give dimensions. Not to mention, I haven’t really seen men and women models showing no difference in lens to face. I almost always notice it right away

    2. I also have a long and narrow head. I wear the Oakley Sutro S (the smaller version) that work well on me.

    3. I feel you OP. I have the same 60cm oval head and have been living the same nightmare for many years. The only sunglasses I’ve found that fit ok are the already mentioned Oakley Sutro S. They fit well but look almost too small with some helmets. I’ve two pairs now. I’m sure there are other brands/models that offer less wide models. Ordering and traveling to try on is a pain in the arse and unsustainable.

Following this thread in the hope of more ideas.

I also have a large head, some would say huge. I have been happy with the cycling glasses by Tifosi (The Rail XC).

I have had good luck with casual glasses by Shady Rays but thought the one pair of cycling glasses I got from them were too tight.

    5. I have a similar skinny face & long head and have found that Bolle Shifters look great. They were worn by the AG2R pro team and you can often get them for <$100.
