Hi folks… I am new to cycling and go for road biking every day (5-6 days a week) around 30km/18 miles and planning to build up my endurance to do longer rides as well.

I basically do it as a hobby and from a fitness point of view, nothing professional. Neither I am planning to go professional.

    1. So kindly advise me whether it is a good idea investing in good quality race fit jerseys or should I just go with the medium fit jerseys? Price is not an issue here and I am thinking about buying Castelli jerseys.

Your input in this matter will be highly appreciated.

    1. Regarding the sizing of Castelli jersey are they true to the measurements shown in the size chart online? Inputs please.

P.s.: Also in your opinion which kind of jersey fit seems cooler to you?

Attached are some race fit jerseys I am planning to buy.

Get whatever you feel comfortable with that catches your eye or matches your style and vibe. Any actual benefit to aero fit is probably minuscule.

Decades ago I started out with loose “club” or relaxed fit jerseys. Little by little over the years I found myself gravitating to more tight fit, aero style jerseys. I’m not fast or a racer, I just never liked the way the fabric of loose jerseys catches or flaps in the wind.

But everyone is different, and there are plenty of folks who will don jean shorts, a cotton tank top and flip-flops that will zip past me and feed me their dust.
