hello everybody it’s day number two of our Italy trip today we’re heading to Pompei we’ve got a 41 Malone ride and we’re going up a climb in one climb 730 m i mean that is going to be hard work let me tell you so we’re down here ready for our breakfast need some fuel in our legs um it is stage 10 of the jro today unfortunately we’re not actually going to see any of the jro today because by the time we get to Pompei they’ll already have whipped off so we’re just going to go and cycle along the mfi coast and then have a little look around pompe and tomorrow we’re coming for you aren’t we I hope so anyway yes yeah look at this breakfast view look at that it’s what dreams are made of also last night Hotel got back for our meal little chocolate on the pillow I mean Liv in luxury here aren’t we Kyle setting us down nicely I’ve gone for a lovely bit of granola with yogi Kyle’s got a qu on yeah coffe why you the I lot be sisca in these nice hotels you know what I mean Kyle’s eyes have just lit up we just been handed a breakfast menu we were getting a bit wood we thought it was the any options but look at all this now scrambled eggs pancakes oh yes oh this is rather peculiar looking po sh the strangest one I’ve ever seen him it’s very Posh Kyle what do you think of yours it doesn’t look very I need got vegetables with I’m not bothered about to to get some bread I took a pair for later just in case and now it’s time to get in our kit and hit the road jackp getting ready to go out on ride I’ve got me fresh kit on it’s a lovely fit po it’s slightly short if I go like this you can see sky not got too much rev viw here cuz we just stopped here but there’s a lot more climbing coming our way let me tell you that everyone feeling good yeah wow look at that it’s beautiful [Music] down I didn’t know we were P Bay while we were here we just came down that and that was not a bit of me I will admit I did walk and hold onto the on onto the bricks at the side cuz I was too scared at the got a bike you need to bring it here banana punch o with magnesium and sodium very nice CL walking down the water yeah stay hydrated it’s key wow so we are I don’t know how many miles in about 13 miles in we’ve got about 28 to go and we’ve just realized that the pr is actually start in 2 hours so the rest of the group want to take a chill ride now and have a cafe stop me and Kyle are going to go ahead we’re see if we can get there for the start of stage 10 of the jro so we’ll see we got a big climb to go up so uh we’ll try our best we’re going to share our live location with um M so he knows where we are M’s Ready’s ready so let’s go now it’s the Two Amigos for a bit still on the amarfi coast and it is beautiful just look at it you loving it Kyle oh it’s gorgeous isn’t it it’s so nice and the roads are smooth I’m in Paradise wow look at this we’re going through the Rocks don’t know how to open your gel have stop drop me suit for you Hy drop me suit for you no it’s weird hang on a minute I’ll do it is it nice no no it’s really warm it’s orange flavor it’s really bitter and salty oh it’ll get you going for the climbing we’ve got 750 m climb to do got about 23 miles to go and only 1 hour 45 to do it in with that climb so it’s Touch and Go WEA we’ll catch the zero but we’ll give it a go we’ll try just flashed up on a meat gy 9.39 M climb 2,461 ft to go up so here we go let’s do this up there my friends that is where we’re going switch backs smooth Road gradient isn’t too bad but it’s beautiful views we’ve got 8 mil left to climb we’re 1,400 ft up five bonies to go we are up high started down there started from the B of an hour here keep on spinning 3.56 millon to go we’re powering on up and this view just breathtaking what else is breathtaking is this glooming climb work it Kyle have a mountain goat Kyle’s a mountain goat now we’re on the last bit of the climb now got .7 miles to climb 513 ft to go up that is going to be steep oh sweet relief we made the top we had to descent through this tunnel Kyle should be appearing soon I’m really hoping I can’t see him it wasn’t as bad as I thought actually that last bit here he comes woohoo keep rolling keep rolling and you didn’t want to did not like that you didn’t like that no load of P cars come see me I know and that tunnel wasn’t very nice we’re about at the top now done that to yeah wasn’t as bad as I thought 10 miles to go oh yeah we should maybe make it but we might not see the start of the JY either way we’ll get the atmosphere in Pompei time to Freewheel down baby this is the life oh someone’s hanging out they’re washing us to day for it woohoo we made it the start is this way Hallelujah 10 minutes to spare oh my goodness we’re right near the start it’s an absolute chaos but I’m we’re a prime position here they’re going to whip past us I’m so excited literally this is the dream Bach is going to be coming in touch in distance I’m so excited there’s a feeling inside my body I Can’t Describe going to be great I’m actually going to be coming on this bit of concrete right here 15 seconds till they set up most I can’t believe you can just stand like this in the road it’s crazy oh my God oh my goodness good luck fellas W the Eon woohoo yes oh my goodness the I was so close to Pacha K so close to Pacha that was just great I could believe it there’s the helicopter did you see no I didn’t see G I think it was Crow it was swamped in the middle but I saw Pacha that was my main nameer K’s family More’s family’s family I’m literally like in a mesmerized I came this close to the pr that was just oh my dream’s been made I’m just so I’m so glad that we went ahead and just just did that because that was just insane insane more insane than me and that’s saying something Kyle did you enjoy that yeah worth pushing a that climb together definitely worth that climb thing on my mind the foodie this is the actual start line where they were look at this all the jerseys all the jerseys this is where pacha’s wheeled right we found a lovely spot the bikes are in view so I’m happy about that Kyle’s got a beer well one he got two coats I’ve got laqua natural I don’t like the fizzy water and then we just ordered we’re not quite sure what we’ve ordered actually couldn’t really understand the menu but I think I’ve got some sort of chicken thing and Kyle’s got a sandwich with like phet meat sandwich we’ll see what arrives so while we wait for our dinner to be cooked I can hear them sizzling something in the pan um so we did 41.4 Malones um I’m not sure what that is in kilometers I did have kilometers set on my watch deleted it back sorry about that and we went up 4,288 ft I’m going to put the link to our um route in the description so you can see what we did there but yeah that’s what it’s looking like on the map went a big bad boy climb but it was worth it to roll down and see those Pros I’m going to be hyp on that for the next week I tell you oh Kyle you just put your fingers in the screen I just saw that BL me no I can’t get the stuff these days sorry I’ve had a beer right we’ve swapped seating ples cuz KL was crisping in the Sun and he was getting a bit burnt so I said I’ll take the sun I’ve got the cream on but this is mine i’ got l sort of chicken salad sort of thing wasn’t really sure what I ordered but I’m happy with that and it comes with some bread which is Sans the gluten there what with gluten there proba I think it is oh I don’t know we’ll eat it we’ll see what happens but Kyle on the end I think he want for the better Rock today jealous of that I’ll say it’s a eight out of time really can you describe why you describe why really flavorsome with all the veg in there salad not the veg salad Health there for you wa it’s just add a nice bit of moisture to it which is really nice and juiciness yeah and the steak’s really juicy good quality steak the only what brings it down is the bread is a bit hard and a bit too thick so it’s hard to actually get you chopped around it well even with your ginormous front teeth fun fact the dentist once measured car’s front teeth cuz he said they were the biggest he’d ever seen no true now on popular opinion I don’t actually like cheese so the pales is going to be decanted onto Kyle’s sandwich but basically I’ve got chicken tomato and Rocket so in my opinion not worth 15 but we’re in Italy we can’t complain M oh hang on the chicken is warm now that’s put it up a level Tomatoes fresh rocket bit of oil on there peppery as usual and Brad we’ll try that in a moment but I’m giving it overall a 5 out of 10 I’m not too impressed sorry I mean if you want a salad you want a few different sort of lettuces you want a bit more than just tomato but the chicken’s warm we’re in Italy so I’m giving it a five for the Ambiance reallyy it’s the best policy yeah I just say that big bang was a l in the trat was it yeah it just hit the top of the tree and it’s all the tree Chang risking it ring the gluten this is actually the top of it carve sandwich cuz he decided he wanted these ones let me tell you something car teeth could get for it GE W be to out munching this pluming heck you’re going to need a new throat after this going to be scratched this bit like a piece of bark that is no wonder it’s lathered in oil it’s try and blooming to try and soften it so you can get it down your blooming throat sometimes they can be funny hey it is it is it does taste nice just takes about an hour to eat the Begg it’s about half an hour later I’m still hacking the Jordan teeth are being chiseled don’t need orthod after this um but we have actually realize that when you’re with grand tour’s project all your Foods included so if we’ waited with the group and not come off to see the jir we could have actually got free lunch but I think this was worth it to see the cruise so I’m not going to complain Kyle you still going with your bread just started the second piece I get another half an hour after that you feel like you’re going to Stage this year after You’ Lun done that turn into Old te rolling it around my mouth reason I’m using that much energy to chew my bread it’s basically you know negative energy balance I’m going to used more energy eating the bread than what’s in it I wonder if I to have a beer and a coke just to walk this down so we had our sandwich oh hang on I’ll
