all the recent talk from other channels like myself pretty much Everywhere You on YouTube right now is sword and shield this sword and shield that booster boxes are going crazy all Arts are going crazy Now’s the Time to get this don’t miss out there’s a lot of talk there’s a lot of talk about sword and shield today I’m going to be changing it up I’m we’re going to be talking about scarlet and violet because look we’re deep in the thick of scarlet and violet I do feel like scarlet and violet has some nice sets and good things going for it but of course I do feel like there are some which may not be that great either I kind of feel like you know s Shield we’ve kind of beaten it to death to be fair I mean we’re still going to be talking about in the future we’re not going to be talking about sword and shield again of course we are because so much stuff is happening in sword and shield right now that it is a super hot topic that everybody wants to talk about because well things are going crazy things are actually you know starting to go up things that we’ve been talking about on this channel over the past you know 18 months to 2 years are now starting to happen but that’s fine we we’ve been talking about that but Scar and violet they lot of people have kind of like got mixed opinions of these sets right we’re just about to have Twilight masquerade coming out at the end of the month and I kind of feel like everybody loves 151 we can’t deny how great 151 is and it is a fantastic set I’ve already said that if this set was a main set and had a booster box it would be going absolutely mental right now but it doesn’t and you know prices of 151 have been going up and I’m talking about seal product I’m trying to get some seal product it’s really difficult it’s getting really expensive here in the UK which we’re going to cover in just a moment but yeah I I feel kind of feel like the rest of the sets have that potential and are pretty cheap and good to open and to keep sealed so let’s jump in we going take a look at tcg player today at the scarland vi era and I’m going to give you guys my thoughts on what I think is going to be happening uh in the next 12 months you know we can do a little bit of you know a little bit of guess work a little bit of predicting here and there and give you guys my thoughts okay so we’ll be taking a look at tcg player we looking at Scotland volet base to begin with and we have a Bas a booster box here for $88 so we jump across we can see uh what’s been going on with scull and Vol base for me personally I do feel like it’s a as far as base set goes I feel like it’s pretty good I do feel like it’s better than sword and shield base yeah people are not really happy with this set I mean the single car prices which we’ll get to in a moment we’ll see are not doing very well and the booster box well it’s also not doing very well it’s set at around $88 uh over here in the UK you can pick this up for less than 90 and some places 85 90 I still think it’s a steal I genuinely do even if this box right in the next I don’t know let’s say 5 years right I know it sounds like a while but let’s say in the next 5 years it reaches like 200 or even 150 we need 150 nearly doubled your money right that’s that’s pretty good going that’s not asking a lot from a set like this so yeah has been dropping as you can see it’s slly very slowly kind of going up but uh at one point you know dropped to 73 a box so yeah this is definitely a set which you know people aren’t massively excited for and it is falling let’s take a look at the rest so you know we’ got single card prices here got mirum coming 25 this is the biggest card in the set cavor at 20 maridon at 13 you know we got the uh is it the ultra B The Nest bu sorry at 16 there isn’t that many you know expensive valuable cards in this set I mean even the etps aren’t really moving Pokemon set ones are sat you know around 60 to 70 but yeah not much really going on skull and violet base I do feel like it’s probably one of the worst ones to buy but I do still feel like you can’t go wrong with buying a booster box for under 90 not with the increased MSRP going on so maybe grab one might be quite good but um you know it’s pretty cheap okay moving on to Pal evolved uh look I know a lot of you guys love pow evolved I like pow evolved I do feel like PW Evol is pretty good for a second set in um which is actually quite interesting so we jump over to the booster box is we’re looking at 111 this has actually been climbing over the past month or 3 months as it were which is actually pretty good right this set’s now been out a year which is kind of crazy that’s already been that quick so we could be coming to a point now maybe towards the end of this year where there’s there will be probably nothing more reprinted of this set but I think probably be towards the end of 2024 um so it kind of be like that nearly come up to that new like 2year cycle as it were but even if a reprint does happen with P revolved it’s still still cheap and I feel like if a reprint does happen then we could see these booster boxes be under 100 which is fantastic you no means this is just so good to pick up right just cuz it’s so cheap and of course the single car prices will fall as well but yeah overall this set is on the climb it is doing pretty well and I think a lot of people starting to appreciate P Revol some beautiful artwork in the set as well and when we take a look at of course the magikarps holding them strong a little over $100 we got the io as well again holding strong at over 70 and then we go further down the list and we got some you know somewhat good valuable cards I mean $25 25 you know 24 23 my boy T coming at 23 as well so we got some good illustration R gold cards that are holding good value and you know go further down the line and they’re doing okay compared to scull and Vol base this set smashes out of the park so I do feel like Po Revol could be something that we could be uh looking towards in the future for being you know a potential um top set Runner but you we’re not even halfway through scull and violet area yet but this is a good strong performer already okay next we got obsidium Flames this one it’s an interesting one right so we got booster boxes here at $100 now over here in the UK these are actually creeping up in price um I’ve seen some selling for like 110 115 so they are on the uptic somewhat over here don’t know why but they are so obsidian Flames hasn’t even been out year yet and you know booster boxes are sat around 100 now this set is quite interesting CU it has quite cheap cards bear in mind it’s packing a ton of Charizard we got the big boy Charizard the set of $44 then the next card after that is another Charizard at 20 and then we’re looking even further down you know Pidgeot 11 we’ve got another Pidge here1 I mean $10 for a regular ex is very good so this is a really highly playable card that’s probably why then we got $8 and then seven so this set doesn’t have that much high value and even then we look at the etbs you look around $35 for regular ETB pokon CER one you look at 66 so no real big you know insane jumps pretty much everything’s dropping especially the big boy zard as well at 44 you it’s not even half the price of you half the value of a booster box and it’s the biggest card in the set so things are not looking good for cidian Flames this might be like a darkness of Blaze 2.0 which is what I feared it would be um but we’ll have to wait and see but yeah if another reprint comes for this set these this PO set is going to be uh really tough and would probably be another D of Blaze all right next we got the PowerHouse that is 151 of course there’s no booster boxes with this set but there is expensive stuff happening so we have the regular ET set at $60 over here in the UK this is really tough to find at retail like a lot of places sell them for like 7075 even which is insane and then we got the Pokemon Center version 102 like I said this is getting really pricey over here booster packs loose booster packs I think you can get for like anywhere between like 650 to7 a piece which is really tough to be fair you the UPC is not really doing a huge amount really it’s just sat around the $105 $106 mark this again was a product that I say said you could probably get under MSRP uh which I still think it’s a good pickup right now to be honest at under MSRP I think it’s a good one you get a lot of packs and some amazing promos so big boy zard is holding the for over $100 and you know the rest of the cars they just sit there they haven’t really been moving much you know second most expensive Blastoise at 40 vinor at 35 Zapdos at 33 34 you got another Charizard coming in there at 31 and then you Alakazam at 30 but the sil product is actually trickling up I mean we got the the bundles here at 36 they are more expensive when they first came out and yeah I mean collection boxes are hard to get a hold of you as you can see pretty much all of them are pretty much literally everything is sold out so is very very difficult at the moment to get some 151 I do expect a reprint of this happening pretty soon this hasn’t actually been out that long um so if they are going to reprint anything I would expect to be etbs and maybe booster bundles but um yeah we’ll have to wait and see maybe one might come in the summer um hopefully they do just because I will actually you want to open up more of the set and paying £7 a booster pack is pretty rough all right next up we got Paradox Rift another main set coming in Paradox Rift is an interesting one there’s a lot of paradox Rift going around at the moment but it’s on the uptick so we’re looking at $98 or nearly $100 a booster box it’s still run $100 range which pretty much most of skarland violet era pretty much sitting around but it has been going up this was the cheapest set near enough I think the second most cheapest behind base set like you you know like you can see this was around that 90 to 90 $2 range it was relatively cheap and now it’s on the uptick say oh my God it’s boom in but it’s definitely going back up to pretty much matching all the others as it was the cheapest single cards though in this set have fallen quite Far From Grace we saw the Roaring moon go from over $100 now down to 55 uh you know is taking an absolute beating you know we looking at etbs you know pretty cheap over just over $30 for the etbs even the Pokemon Center ones are not really holding a huge amount my boy groudon’s doing really well at $35 I think he’s on the upti right now uh for illustration rest second most expensive card in the set love the artwork looks amazing looks like Godzilla star which is cool iron hands is holding strong I believe these two are quite playable one of the reasons why they’re holding down the for a little bit then we got the iron Valiant another beautiful artwork at $30 Alara again another beautiful artwork then we got the golden tree string iron hands ex you got the regular iron hands ex here holding at 15 uh and the full art 20 so you know this set does actually have some good value in it I think it’s a very good playable set you know for the TG and that’s why was see and some of these prices hold pretty well be interesting to see how this set goes I kind of feel this will be a middle of the road set I do feel there’s some good fan favorites in here and we do have some ogs that people like like Garchomp and stuff so my boy Groudon yeah I do feel this set will probably do quite well in the long run but right now booster boxes are still relatively cheap moving on to p and Fates now PW and fat is an interesting one very similar to shine and Fates and the fact is that there’s quite a lot that’s around right now and is relatively cheap it is relatively cheap I love the shiny sets I think they’re great all the Fate sets are great in my opinion I do like shin and Fates it’s just that they printed into the ground hopefully this won’t be the case with p and Fates but at the moment there’s still a ton of product around that you can pick up I mean over here you can pick up etps for about 40 which is pretty much the same as they are here big boy zard is holding it down uh I think it might still be the most expensive card uh in the um skull and violet era only just but $108 this has been falling but it’s still relatively expensive over $100 the M holding quite strong at 80 which is pretty good another big Chase card gardivoir is doing pretty well holding close to 50 Pikachu’s been going up that was 30 now he looking at 45 it’s getting harder and harder to pull and yeah you can buy a lot of the products still especially here in the UK you can buy quite a bit of pal and Fates from Min tins to etbs to booster bundles you can still get a lot of p and Fates I do feel like P and Fates will depend on the future of it will depend on how much this SI is printed or reprinted if a reprint does come on the same scale of shining Fates then this set May struggle but right now I do feel like it’s a set worth opening rather than um grabbing sealed I mean I’ve got a Pokemon Center etps I got a couple of them they’re staying sealed I mean they’re 75 which isn’t too bad so yeah pan face is doing pretty well uh like I said the cards are holding pretty well uh etbs and stuff are relatively cheap so that’s one thing to keep an eye on and then finally we have temporal forces which is the most recent set that’s been released Twilight masquerade is not quite out yet we’re looking at 102 for a booster box so it’s been dropping in actually which is actually quite interesting but it’s basically the same as all the others a lot of them are s around 100 which I do feel like is a good price and if you get any under 100 then definitely go for it but temporal forces I like the set I think there’s a ton of amazing cards in it P R’s really tough though there’s a downside so we’re looking at regular etbs I mean again they’re pretty much pretty cheap right 32 36 and then we got the Pokemon Center ones at 65 this one’s quite higher at 80 that’s actually quite interesting with the single car prices we’ve saw some weird booms and a bit of Market manipulation with some of the big chase cars in the set but pull rates have a massive impact and the pull rates are really terrible so these are going to hold bare value so we do have the iron Crown holding it down at 68 so has been falling from its alltime high same with moy’s conviction that has also been falling from its alltime high this one kind of got pumped a little bit so a bit interesting then we have raging Bol long neck boy coming in at 54 so we got some good value cards right another 42 my boy ente 42 38 uh then we have 28 and 32 then we got the prime clater Ace trainer at 27 highly playable cards and then we got gley as well so this set I think will do very I I genuinely think it will do very well if you look at a lot of the price values of this set there’s quite a lot of cards that are over like $20 it’s actually crazy I mean we’re looking at 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 cards over $20 that’s very good compared to a lot of these other sets we’ve just looked at there isn’t many sets that’s doing very well normally as a rule when sets come out and they get opened the first few months all the prices just fall people are cracking packs more and more cards are hit in the market but that’s not what’s happening with temporal forces so this one I think is going to be very strong in the long run I’ve got one box sealed probably get more cuz it’s quite cheap right now but this has just recently came out there’s going to be a reprint and a lot of these prices will continue to fall um but when and how big who knows there you have it guys that’s my thoughts on scarland volet right now 151 is going absolutely mental really hard to get a hold of you know trying to get the seal product especially over here it’s pretty much s everywhere I do expect a reprint to come further down the line I expect most of these to get a reprint further down the line I think the ones least likely will probably be base set and P evolved just because they’re the oldest one but they still might get at least one more uh maybe this summer or later on this year but there’s one thing to take in consideration when buying a lot of them yes the booster boxes will fall yes the single car prices will fall but hey when it’s cheap it’s worth picking up especially when it comes to seal product and especially when it comes to boost boxes of course etbs a pretty Che right now as well you do want to go down that route but I kind of feel like scarland violet has its own thing going for it I know that some of you guys are not too keen on scarland Violet you know when the new sets drop you’re like you know what I’m not too interested it’s interesting right we had the same thing with pal evolved a lot of people weren’t interested didn’t really care about the set when it came out they’re like no I’m Still Loving sword and shield open up Crown xen if doing this doing that not too fast about P evolved over a year later people are now like you know what I’ve had P roles really good and we had the same a rain we had the same Fusion strike you know it’s just it’s just interesting to see which sets down the line of skull Violet will outperform the other sets and there will be some that will outperform but right now now’s a great time to buy packs to open get your collections going whether they’ll be sealed or single cards because there’s just a ton of product around and now’s a good time to you know game while it’s cheap and also get in to its own but even then you know p and Fates as well with 151 both of them are doing pretty well and I expect them to do well in the future yeah out of the main sets temporal forces air evolved but if
