oh it’s built God damn it McDonald’s all right mate you’re right well that went well hello guys and welcome back to another video if you’re new around here then my name is London hustle and today we are going to be working my first ever just eat shift I tried signing up about 5 months ago and finally yesterday I got an email saying I’ve been accepted I usually use deliver and uberit all you have to do is open the app and click go online and then you can start doing deliveries just I think is a little bit different though you have to choose a certain slot if there’s a slot available and it gives you a certain time frame and a certain area of London I have to deliver in when I checked yesterday there was a slot for today 3:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. in London Paddington the time is now 3:25 so in about 5 minutes I think we should be able to go online I want to find out what it’s like to work for just e and I want to find out how much money we can make to see if it’s going to be worth it also a huge thank you to uh crazy bird for sending me this bike out that we’re going to be riding today hopefully it’s going to make our shift quite enjoyable oh look at this it’s just hit 3:30 we got a notification popping up saying your run has started ready to go you’ll start receiving orders soon let’s click okay oh here we go it’s been 4 minutes since we came online and we are getting our first official order come through we’re picking up from KFC the customer doesn’t look that far either and it’s offering £45 which seems really high for that distance it’s only 0.8 Mi that is a lot better than what I get offered on deliver and Uber all right let’s head to KFC here’s a little closer look at the crazy bird run today tell you a little bit more about it later but I am definitely going to be looking this up hello M you’re right 7875 thank you navigate to customer oh look at this we can either copy it to clipboard or opening Google Maps we’ll just go with Google Maps and it brings the power route to the customer perfect got to say so far I know we haven’t even done our first order yet so I can’t judge too much I’m quite impressed we were only on loine 4 minutes before getting our first order and look at this customer is only 3 minutes away it’s paying £45 which is really high for that distance all right let’s go get this [Music] delivered hi delivery oh immediately met by stairs not what I wanted to see almost sted it as well H yeah there you are than your drink as well thank you hej just like that we have completed our first just the order that was so easy if the fairs are going to keep paying that price though I’m excited for today for any of you that are interested this is the crazy bird jumper this is the step through version as well I’m not usually the biggest fan aesthetically of Step through bikes but I tell you what they make it so much easier getting on and off when you got a backpack full of food the version I’m on right now has a 250 W Bang motor and they do sell a version which has 750 WS for the exact same price but here in the UK unfortunately the lore is 250 WS that’s all they give us although there’s some exciting news going through Parliament quite soon I think around electric bikes they’re pushing to up the limits let’s be honest 250 WS is nothing you get cyclists that aren’t electric overtaking you anyway I dropped off that order a couple minutes ago we’re still yet to get another order I’m curious to see how often we’ll get orders come through this is the time that I wouldn’t usually come out and deliver because it’s typically more quiet but because I had to choose a delivery slot and that was the only slot available for me whatever we just had to go with it I mean it’s London after all so there’s always going to be people ordering well here we go we are getting our second order come through this is from a place called M Kebab paying £5.86 the order prices are very strong let’s go ahead and accept this what I’m seeing so far is I think that juste pays you not only for the distance from the restaurant to the customer like the other delivery apps but they also pay you the distance from you to the restaurant which the other delivery apps do not do so if that’s correct this could be a game changer we could start to earn a lot more money by utilizing just eat which is getting me quite excited so Google has brought me here now when you go back onto just eat you can’t see yourself as a little dot when you turn up at a restaurant which you can do on a deliver room so it’s actually harder to navigate to the places I’m not a big fan of that apparently on just e you’re only live when you’re riding around free roam as soon as you get an order come through or you’re going from a restaurant to a customers your dot freezers so you can’t see exactly where you are but luckily yeah here we [Music] go I is that 0446 [Music] yeah my brother thank you why is it not letting me accept the order there we go we found two little bugs straight away on just eat so the fact the dot doesn’t stay live when you’re making your way to a restaurant or customers not a big fan of that and also I tried to accept the order but it froze I had to go off the app and come back on and then it let me accept we’ll see if that continues to happen and if it stays an issue this customer is only 7 minutes away so nice and close what a day it is to be doing deliveries the sun has decided to make a small appearance the roads are starting to quieten up a little bit so far I enjoying this a lot M look at this man woo stunning my God so many nice cars down here hello hi mate delivery first floor cheers all right mate you’re right there you are man enjoy you too second order complete we’re currently at £9.91 it’s 408 we’ve been online about 40 minutes I don’t think I think that’s terrible considering the time of day but hopefully we can get that a little bit higher for anyone wondering I’m sure there’s a couple of you out there why am I using an Uber Eats bag when I’m working for just e but when you sign up to just e you can actually have the option to order a bag I ordered two when I originally signed up but because I signed up 3 months ago I ordered them to my address at the time which is now changed and I just don’t have access to that address anymore so I’m pretty sure they’ve been delivered but I can’t get them so we’re just using the Uber Eats bag today I’m sure there was a couple of you wondering that we’re just off of Kilburn high road now and there’s a lot of restaurants down there so that’s the way I’m going to head although do I want to be next to a restaurant if it’s going to pay me the distance from me to the restaurant would it make sense for me to be further away or if I’m close to it will it increase my chances of getting the order through H I’m not sure these are things we’ll figure out as time progresses £835 that’s crazy the customer is just above hide Park Okay so this one is quite a far distance In fairness but I am going to go ahead and accept it now we need to navigate to the restaurant we are 7 minutes from this restaurant but if I’m getting paid for that distance I don’t mind that at all where are you going on the right hand side oh he almost hit a pedestrian oh the joys of London eh I promise you guys the later on it gets in to guess this customer is going to be 15 minutes oh looks like we’re having that same glitch if we go off and back on it works okay looks like this is going to be a continuous thing which is slightly annoying oh my guess wasn’t too bad Google’s telling me it’s going to be about 12 minutes A 12-minute Journey For it’s over £8 I still think that is great value let me know what you guys think down below also let me know if you’re a delivery driver cuz I know a few of you are what delivery apps do you use do you use just one or do you use multiple should I be using just the alongside delivery and Uber to maximize or should I just be using one at a time when I talk about traffic look at this best thing about being on a bike it’s funny cuz uh obviously you guys know that I do shorts as well as these long form videos they get pushed out to these huge audiences and a lot of them are like I would never want my food to be delivered by someone on a bike why would I pay for that the food’s going to get so cold get in a car you definitely have never been to London if you’re delivering in a car it’s going to take you at least twice as long minimum and times like this when the traffic is not moving at all maybe even three or four times as long an electric bike or moped is 100% the quickest way to navigate around London and I absolutely love it oh that is the best feeding when you just filter through and get get to the front of the pack to an umam Road who wants to get one of those with me and come do some deliveries in London that’ be a right laugh all M you’re right you up en see you there we go so simple I dropped that order off and we actually dropped it off outside of the Blue Area blue I just saw Boris Johnson talking about passports in my head then entitled to a beautiful new blue passport at least we know we can get orders that go outside the area I don’t think we can pick up from restaurants outside though so I am going to have to make my way back into that zone but we’re not too far away from it let’s go we are back in the zone and it’s also just hit half four which means we’ve been online for an hour now and we’re up to £ 1826 which I’m absolutely buzzing with in my first hour of being a just eat rider that’s way above minimum wage it’s even above the London living wage and right now is a time that’s not usually busy if I was on deliveroo I would probably struggle to make £10 an hour for McDon McDonald’s I don’t want to do McDonald’s I know we’re on a new app but ah should I do it because it’s just e do I go do I go against all my beliefs and values uh why not for the video hey picking up from McDonald’s and queen’s way for £487 wish me luck oh I’m sorry guys I cannot do it I am how do I cancel this order can I cancel the order oh please tell me I can cancel the order surely I have to be able to cancel it is so hot and busy in there and they are so slow I think I’m just going to have to wait for it oh look at this waiting for an order sit tight just eat is looking into it don’t know what that means I hate this place for a passion thank you don’t ever let me do that please waited for 20 plus minutes I think inside of there I don’t know the exact timings so so slow and then I was the last delivery driver waiting and the guy bagged up the order right in front of me without even asking me he went to put it to the side and not even say anything I had to go over to him and be like yo that’s mine ridiculous really bad service I know it’s not easy to be a McDonald’s worker but man the service is so bad that’s all the complaining we’re doing about McDonald’s in this video at least our customers not too far away 0.9 m was just to give you an idea of how long that took we dropped off the last order at 4:30 it’s now been 40 minutes the good thing about it going past 5:00 is people will slowly start to be ordering for their dinner now so hopefully we can capitalize on that well this is useful they have not put an address it just says first for flat it doesn’t say any number what am I supposed to do with that WR going to have to call the customer oh they just put a message saying number 10 maybe they can hear me talking he m is it Max yeah there you are mate cheers man thank you you’re welcome enjoy all right that paid £487 100% not worth it but we have learned our lesson I will not be doing McDonald’s orders again Max was nice enough though he realized he didn’t put his address so he put it in the notes he came out in his dressing gown looking all tired so he was probably rting what the hell is this thing look at this is that a car no it’s a bike it doesn’t even have a steering wheel it’s got handlebars on the inside does it have a license plate no is that road legal I don’t care but it looks fun please let me know what that is down below you guys always know what stuff is you like my personal Google ooh look at this just seeing a little note in the bottom corner saying we get plus 50p from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. awesome hey just eat they look after the Riders so our shift is scheduled to end at 7:30 I wish it was 9:00 now that that boost has come on I don’t know if there’s possibilities to extend the shift once our slot has ended we’ll find that out in time the bike we’re on has a 52v 20 amp battery which is massive so we’ll be able to do our whole shift and have a lot of battery left over that won’t be an issue so far we’ve done 18.1 mil and we’re down to 91% which is very impressive as a delivery Rider one of the main things you look for when getting a bike is the battery life once you’re out you want to be out you don’t want to have to keep going back to recharge you want minimum 3 4 hours and I think this bike is going to be able to do that no problems at all we’re right next to Paddington Station which is technically the area we’re working in today you can always expect it to be busy around here though German donut kebab this time on edgear road £582 this is our first order with the 50p boost on top of it definitely going to lock the bike up out here it’s very busy hopefully we’re not going to get a repeat of McDonald’s inside of here I’ve got a just e order okay the one thing about just eat is you can’t actually see what’s inside the order which I don’t like because it’s always useful to know if there’s drinks coffees things like that so we can be a bit more careful there is it’s okay oh my God what is going on today 2 in a row she finished my order then put it to the side even though she knew I was there she apologized for it but I was waiting a few extra minutes because of that I’m sorry guys I swear I don’t usually complain this much I just say it how it is also there was a woman in there ordering a customer you’re trying to compare the calories between like a Donna Burger a Donna wrap and a Donna quesadilla to try to get the best calories and like if you’re looking after your calories just don’t go to a Donna shop there’s not going to be much of a difference between those three options you might as well just get whatever you want all right how far is this customer 8 minutes Google saying I need to be on the other side at Edge Road luckily we can just hop over the middle bit here with these big tires so easy that’s probably going to cut the time down by quite a lot actually yeah look at that it’s cut it down to 5 minutes now so just going over that middle bit there chopped it down by 3 minutes which is good I you’re right sorry about that yeah perfect enjoy I’m quite enjoying this I’ve used the same two delivery apps for about 5 years now so this is so refreshing to try something new and hopefully you guys are enjoying that seriously though what a day I know I said that earlier but you have to really appreciate days like this in the UK because tomorrow it could be tipping down with rain and freezing cold where’re currently in Baker Street right outside of the Sherlock Holmes house 221B Baker Street it’s been about 15 minutes since I last dropped off that order and nothing has come through I have been cycling around quite a lot and I decided I’d come down here to Baker Street because I know there’s a lot of restaurants around it is just on the edge of our Blue Zone not sure if you can see that there on the on the phone it’s now 5 minutes to 6 died down a little bit more than I was hoping for after that first hour I had so much hope but then I got broke back down to reality just started jump in with a little update finally finally finally getting an order through that took forever where are we picking up from Baraka Peri perryi on edgear road cool we’ve had a lot of orders from edar Road tonight 591 let’s go ahead and do it oh look at this police have stopped some kids typical day here in London through what looks like used to be a market but it’s shutting down look at the amount of rubbish they leave on the floor that is disgusting all this plastic on the floor from this Market tell you what training standers need to get down here it’s everywhere look at it they just just leave it on the floor they’re not picking it up look at it’s crazy that is rank I’m sorry but that’s disgusting and that’s where they work as well every day why would you not want to have a clean working environment does m nothing thank you mate I didn’t mean to press the buzzer at least we know that works one of the other reasons I don’t come at this time is it’s so awkward to eat because I’m starting to get really hungry I haven’t eaten since lunchtime it’s about 6:00 and I’d usually have something to eatly we got to stay out till 7:30 in our shift and smelling all this delicious food is making me even hungrier this is also the longest distance we’ve had so far on justy customer 1.2 miles away let’s go [Music] I don’t think there’s a lift in [Music] here hi great you’re welcome you got a drink as well in here there you are enjoy she was a nice customer I really wish I didn’t have to come up all these stairs I have to do this multiple times after riding a bike and it’s really hot weather with all this clothes on plus all the gear I’ve got on as well for filming guess a little bit tiring my goal for today was to reach £50 we’re about1 15 shy of that and I’d say we’re in dinner time now so hopefully we can still hit that another little update for you guys currently 6:51 which means we do only have 39 minutes left of our allocated slot and I think it was about 20 minutes ago that I last spoke to you which means nothing has come through in 20 minutes I’m really surprised at that because I thought as soon as it hits 6:00 we’re going to be really busy with ORD those people are going to be ordering for dinner apparently not I was wrong I think I’m starting to think that just eat it is a good app because it does pay more per order but you need to run it alongside other apps like deliver and Uber Eats and that’s how you can really maximize your money but this video is dedicated only to just eat which is why I haven’t gone online with any of the other apps but in the future we will do that finally finally getting an order come through oo that’s far that’s really far I actually this might be the first justy order that I declined this is probably like a 25 30 minute order and we only have half an hour left in our slot well but then there is a lot of drivers just sitting around doing nothing decisions decisions I think I’m going to cancel it and hope to get some shorter orders cuz I’d love to have at least two more deliveries in this video for you guys I’m going to take the risk and decline it oh here we go look declining this offer will impact I didn’t even have time said something about decline in this will impact your score impact your acceptance rate that’s something I’ve never seen before delivering Uber Eats you can reject or not take 100 1,000 orders in a row and it doesn’t affect your account in any way but it seems like just e maybe it does maybe I shouldn’t have rejected that yes yes yes this is what I wanted oh no it isn’t it damn it why dides it do this to me oh it didn’t take longer t for the order to come through restaurant’s not far customers not far 533 not a bad pay but it’s picking up for McDonald’s I’m going to accept it cuz it kind of scared me saying it would impact my score but not only just for that reason I’m going to head back up there and see what it’s like because maybe just maybe the order will be sitting there waiting for me I can just pull up take it and go and not have to spend more than 30 seconds inside McDonald’s let’s see oh it looks really quiet inside that’s a positive what are the odds I see mine up on the screen now this one drinks good drink in that one yeah thank you ni you too that’s genius what I said that’s genius what is doing that eating that with a Freddy School fair enough I might have to try that woman in there was eating uh those little Cadbury pudding pots with a Fredo as a spoon it’s not every day you get to meet a genius why on Earth did I go into McDonald’s being optimistic and thinking it wouldn’t be long we’re in there at least 5 minutes it’s 4 7 now customer is not far away only 5 minutes we do have a giant Coke on our back I have a feeling I’m going to get there and I’m just going to open my bag to a pool of coke and that is not the way I want to end my shift so fingers crossed that’s not going to happen I’m going to try ride as smooth as possible Google’s saying we should get there for 720 which means in theory we could still get one more order come through before our slot ends which would be nice I really hope is not our village oh it’s spilt God damn it McDonald’s every time man that’s so infuriating all right mate you’re right your uh the Drinker spilled a bit in the bag it’s McDonald’s it’s not my fault I don’t I this is the first time I’ve done McDonald’s in 2 months I haven’t had to spillage in 2 months it’s only McDonald’s the way you had it in the bag was it was up straight yeah obiously ain’t when you driving it look it’s everywhere man I S to you it’s not my fault but I’m really sorry you’ll be able to go on the app and get yourself a refund there’s that much left do you want me to go grab you a drink sure well that went well sorry but I’m not letting him stand there and tell me it’s my fault when I know for a fact that it’s McDonald’s Joke Man and that is why I don’t take McDonald’s orders you guys ask me all the time why why don’t I do them you have just seen that customer man not a nice person at all it’s not my fault it’s McDonald’s fault I don’t know if I explained it well to him then cuz he was getting quite annoyed at me but I haven’t took a McDonald’s order in months months and months and I’ve never had a spillage today I decided you know what we’re on just eat let’s take some McDonald’s orders I did two and on the second one I get a spillage it’s not my fault it’s 100% McDonald’s they need to do better in other countries they have heat seal Lids on their cups they just don’t do it here because it’s going to cost them money and they’re all about the money which is really infuriating anyway it’s now half s so our slot is about to end and what wait to end the video man you know what in 5 years that’s the first ever customer that’s got annoyed at me we take that my first ever just eat shift and my first ever customer that gets annoyed at me oh what can you do maybe he was having a bad day bless him it definitely pays a lot more per order for the distance compared to deliver and Uber Eats which is good it means we get more money I didn’t get this but you also get paid extra if you have to wait over x amount of time at a restaurant I don’t know how long that time is and I never hope to have to find that out but if you do have to wait really long at a restaurant you do get paid more so I guess that counts as a pro now on to the negatives first of all you can’t just come on the app go online and start doing deliveries you have to book in a slot in a certain time and a certain Zone I feel like I’m playing GTA Vice City back in the day when you’ve only unlocked a certain portion of the map it’s really annoying man I love free roam I just want to go where I want and be able to deliver like I’m literally limited to this one area if L of London right now if I wanted to go over to Camden down into Soho I can’t I can’t get orders there the app is definitely a little bit behind the other companies like I said the dot doesn’t stay live when you’re going into a customer or a restaurant which is quite annoying it makes it a lot harder to find them especially if their pin is in the wrong location and also we’ve experienced lots of bugs today just pressing buttons or holding down buttons didn’t seem to work and I had to go off and on the app to make it work again apart from that it’s pretty similar to the other apps we used we ended today’s shift on £409 which is pretty much exactly £10 an hour no no let me know if you think that was worth it down below it started off strong and then it kind of died down since we did that McDonald’s order yeah I’d definitely love to come out again at dinner time probably starting my shift around now half s if you guys want to see that then be sure to drop a like down below and I’ll make it happen and here is a closer look at the bike we were on today this is the crazy bird jumper step through version what a shot this is by the way look at that BT Tower in the back ground man I love London yeah so we come down here onto the front you can see we’ve got big juicy fat tires you guys know I love these things it takes all the absortion from the road makes for a much smoother and comfortable ride you pair that along with front suspension you’re in for a tree moving on down here to the brakes we have hydraulic disc brakes pretty standard on ebikes these days but glad to see them there comes with a front light as well which you do have to attach yourself but it’s nice and easy to do so we didn’t ride in the dark today so I didn’t get to test it out maybe I’ll do that in the future down here in the massive chunky frame right underneath where it says crazy bird is where the 52v 20 amp hour battery sits to take it out you have a little key fob here which means no one passing by you can just steal your battery and you have the choice I’m not going to lift it up here cuz it’s a little bit difficult which I don’t like but you can charge the battery while it’s on the bike or you can take it off to charge I always recommend taking it off to charge but yeah huge battery I mean let’s have a look up here if we turn on the screen so yeah today we did 32.6 m in total and we still have 73% battery left we only used a quarter in 32 Mi so if you do the math yeah this bike will last a very long time comes with sspeed Shimano gears lock on grips we have a nice horn and five different level modes of assist I was only riding in two or three today and that was more than enough and yeah just looking down here at the back that’s where the motor sits inside here beang really good brand of motor overall I like to rate these bikes on three different categories Comfort practicality and enjoyability straight away comfort with the fat tires the front suspension and the fact that you actually sit in a really nice comfortable riding position this is going to get a solid 9 out of 10 moving on to practicality again man this bike the fact you can step through it so if you got big loads on your back makes it easy to get on and off huge battery nice big screen at the front seven-speed gears it’s going to be hard to give that a low score again I’m going to have to give this a 9 out of 10 and finally enjoyability you do feel like you you’ve got a big road presence oh there’s a little doggy coming over hello hello mate you’re more interested in the bag aren’t you you can probably smell the the spil coke hello hello see look even the dog likes the bike yeah I really really enjoyed this bike today hello hello looks like the dog enjoys it as well that has made my evening you feel like you have a really nice solid Road presence the control on the bike is nice it’s called a jumper we all know what happened last time I tried to jumper bike let’s get some m so I did not try to jump it today it is quite heavy I will say that so uh if you need to get it upstairs probably isn’t the bike for you unless you’re very strong yeah enjoyability I’m going to give it a 9 out of 10 again very high scores all around I really enjoyed this bike and I’ve got plenty of juice left over probably won even need to charge the battery before coming out again yeah if you guys did enjoy
