To hard reset your litter robot, unplug it from the back of the unit for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in. The litter robot will cycle. Let it complete this procedure. It’s complete when the blue light is lit. Then press and hold the cycle button for 5 seconds. This should turn the blue and yellow lights on at the same time. Then press and hold the cycle button for 5 seconds. Then, I’ll activate the sensor by pushing down on the top of the globe a little bit. You’re just trying to set it off as if your cat just used it. No need to push hard. The red light should turn on. It’s the timing light. Let the litter robot go through its timing and cycle procedure. When this is complete, your litter robot has been reset. Here are a few more tips: You can have your litter robot in a corner, but make sure it’s pulled away from the walls to operate freely.
