the jural is arguably the toughest of the free grand Tours and it’s almost upon us once again so it’s time for yet another round of pre juralia predictions and maybe this year I’ll be doing a bit better than last year when I thought Almeida will be clenching the title but equally I could be wrong this year as well but before we go into our 10 predictions make sure to hit the like button number 10 and this is that the two time trial stages will be won by different winners there will be two time trial stages in the 2024 Edition totaling 70 km with very different profiles the one finishing into peruja includes a hilly finish towards the end whereas the second one has a flat profile despite G being on the start line I don’t see the two-time world time trial Champion winning both of the time trials as there are plenty of GC riders in here who could be in the mix and we even have the other world champion we’ve had in the last few years as well to be as fast to the start line so maybe the Norwegian can pull off a superb time trop but he is on the same team so who knows T Pat as well we know has won time Charles in the toront so he he could well and truly be one to take one as well continuing on the tid pater theme and this is that he will win stage one the first stage is a very hilly stage and there has even been an addition of an extra climb that all fits into the lap of T patcha perfectly who recently demonstrated his proficiency at the hilly terrain by dominating Le Bast Le and even running Riot with the WTA Catalonia and obviously we also know in IL lombardia he has been winning that race three years in a row so he is very good on this terrain around this area so potentially if he is in the mood this could really kick off his durali debut to a perfect start like we saw with one of these big galacticos in 2022 when Macho vandero won on his debut in the jro although that was in Hungary coming into number eight and this is that Kon alter Brooks will win the white jersey the Belgian younger who now rides for Vis Melisa bike will debut at the J Talia this year for his new team there are plenty of strong Young Riders within the race such as Max P or Antonio tiberi but many of these other Young Riders have duties within the team with bigger names that they might be riding for as we know this Malisa bike don’t have another big Rider K alterbrook is really the GC rider for them and despite having a split team with ol of Cory it looks like K Alon Brooks could really have the reign of the team so why couldn’t he get the Jersey coming into number seven and this one will not surprise anyone a Dane will win a stage obviously as a Dane myself I have to include something about the Danes and we are really in our golden age of Danish cycling last year we saw mes pill usen win a stage and this year there could be a whole host of rties in the picture with friend of the channel Tobias lone Andre in the Sprints Alexander as well in the more rolling terrain so I definitely think we might have a Danish Victory yet again and I really hope it could be tobas who knows coming at number six bam gay wins the points classification yes yes we all know that I am a bit of a Binum gay fan I think it would be a great story considering the dramatic exit of Binum gai 2022 Jalia with that devastating moment after he won the stage so upon his return it would be a fitting end to this Jalia Saga to some extent for the TR and to wear the jersey yet again and perhaps be in the mix to win it by the time we get to Rome maybe he won’t win any stages but he could be winning the points classification like we have seen with Peter scan by being up there in the helot breakaways and sweeping up those intermediate Sprints and maybe outlasting some of these pure sprinters who aren’t as good as him in the climbs so we’ll wait and see but this could be a really big scalp for into my shet coming in at number five and this is a big favorite crashes out crashes and Road cycling is forever going to be synomous with each other unfortunately and in The Grand Tour there’s always that bit extra nervousness from the Raiders and in 2024 in the Jalia there will perhaps be another favorite who crashes out early and that will take away perhaps an exciting race for one of these contenders like we saw in 2021 with mikanda who was on many people’s lips to win the race and even last year with ta ghard who also crashed out unfortunately but G Thomas still managed to finish second speaking of in granders and coming in at number four and this will be that inos granders will not be the strongest team in the race inos granders have branded themselves in recent years with being the strongest team in the mountains but for many years it has been y visma or visma Lisa bike who have taken over that title however despite on paper looking like a really strong team with the likes of tobius Vos Adin man and Garen Thomas I think it might not be the strongest team despite many of the teams being split between GC hopes and sprinting hopes I think perhaps we might see the diluted UAE team be very strong or even bar and Victorious who have a really strong team around around Damiano Kuru but the mountains will show us who really has this best team coming in number three taga wins the most stages tid Baga is an all-conquering force on a bike when it comes to winds and can win on pretty much any terrain from cobbles gravel hilly stages mountains and even time trials so looking at the route here with time TRS and gravel stages available and plenty of mountain stages this could perhaps be his best day grantour scalp in terms of victories in the Tour of France we know in 2020 he won three stages on his debut at his welto espania debut he won three stages as well but I think with his characteristics his form and his true domination right now this will be his best debut for the grand Tours and the nature of the competition and with this very competitive sprinting field there may be a dilution of the Winds between the Riders and that really gives Pacha a clear chance to be the rider with the most wins coming into number two and this is that the podium will not feature a South American on it South American Riders have been very successful in the Jalan in recent years with even in 2014 having two riders with n canana and R run and equally Richard Kass has been on the podium in the recent years both in 2019 where he won the race and 2022 where he finished second to J Hind and even Migel Angel Lopez has finished on the podium in 2018 but 2024 will be another year with no South Americans on the podium I think coming into number one and this is the most unoriginal prediction of the list and this is that the red hot favorite of the race the two-time defending Toral France Champion we’ve mentioned already who has dominated the early part of 2024 will of course win the J Tire on his debut and add his third Grand Tour to his palarz Egan Bernal managed to win it in 2021 on debut and so did nider in 2014 so maybe the Slovenian will be able to continue that momentum of slovenians at the Jalia and
