Join me on a bit of a different Irish journey as I explore the tranquil countryside of Clare, riding past the serene Doo Lough, and finally arriving at a quaint Irish home, generously offered to us by Conor’s Nanny. With bikes in tow, we take the ferry from the vibrant town of Doolin to the historical and picturesque island of Inisheer.
Delve into the rich history of this island as we cycle through its cobblestone-walledroads and green fields, leading up to the rusty relic of the MV Plassey shipwreck, a reminder of the island’s intriguing past. Also features a healthy amount of pints and a bit of a taste of what a more traditional part of Ireland is like.
It’s a bit of a different style of video today, but I hope you’ll like it!

Hi Brendan it’s winter up here in Derry.
That is what I love about touring with my maxi scooter. I am dry in the rain 😀 .. And don't have chain to clean after that either 😀
Fabulous adventure with Daisy bell
I just got home (to NY) after an almost two week ride around the Southwest of Ireland. I spent time riding through Limerick, Kerry and Cork. It was some of the most scenic riding I've ever done. Alas, most of the time it rained. According to the locals, it was the rainiest July they've ever experience. Still, I loved it. I plan to be back to ride the northwest coast and then work my way east. A little shout out to Chris at Sprocket and Hub in Adore, Co. Limerick who sat with me and helped me map out some of the best riding routes in these counties.
Why is there an Isle of Arran off Galloway and an Isle of Aran off Galway? Coincidence?
I’m so in awe of your lovely Arran sweater!
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Please do more Ireland!
