Yesterday I popped along to the Beckenham & West Wickam Model Railway Show and I was greeted with a whole host of amazing layouts! While the big exhibitions are fun, you do often start to see the same old layouts after a while . That’s where smaller, more local exhibitions can be really exciting as you tend to find model railways you’ve never seen before and it can ignite a new spark of inspiration for the hobby. This particular exhibition had everything ranging from a large O Gauge model railway to a small boxful layout and I certainly came away from this model rail show with a few ideas for future layouts!

    Layouts:
    Bletchinghurst
    Canute Road Quay
    Cedar Court Wagon Yard
    Clayton West
    Durston
    Elbow Lane
    Filebox Junction
    Hazelcombe
    Hemlock
    Mitchford Park
    Rossiter Rise
    Ruffles Road
    Selborne
    Scrapworth End
    The Yard
    Universal Vintage 00

    Thanks for watching! 🚂

    1. A truly delight video – very well done indeed – these layouts look so detailed and realistic, the lorry and the crane at about 12 minutes are amazing – thank you

    2. Thanks for sharing love to get to see the layouts. I am here in America so no way with out your help to see. What scale was that little train you showed? See you next time.
      GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖

    3. Thanks so much for videoing the exhibition. It was my first exhibition I have organised and it was a huge success for the club and we are super proud so many people enjoyed it.

    4. Beautiful exhibition. Really enjoyed the SR USA tank at around 5:20. Sure wish we had a virtual model. You know, I've used the sim for 20 years, but there's just something special about a real model railway that the sim can't do. This video shows that quality. The GWR layout at 7:40 or so, too.

    5. Hi and thanks for posting this. I was there too and it really was a good event. There were some great displays and the tiny T Gauge model railway was astonishing; 1:450 scale!
