The Water Rail Way is a flat, almost entirely traffic-free route. Cyclists will enjoy wonderful views of the fens landscapes from viewing platforms over the banks of the River Witham. The route starts in the cathedral city of Lincoln before following the former Lincoln to Boston Railway Line.

Georgie Twigg Track

The route was opened by Olympic gold medalist Georgie Twigg MBE in July 2017 and named after her in recognition of her sporting achievements and many years as a village resident. She won gold as part of the Great Britain Women’s Hockey team.
The track provides a link between Doddington village and the Sustrans Route 64 which carries on to Lincoln, arriving at the Brayford Waterfront. It is a mile long and comprises of a purpose-built tarmac track which goes across land privately owned by the Doddington Estate.
