    1. Well done! Been in a car as a passenger this morning and I'm sure drivers and the roads are becoming worse lately! More agressive, breaking the speed limit, more on phones, stopping on red lines, parking in daft places and where it isnt legal, pot holes everywhere, and roadworks and temporary traffic lights everywhere, making people even angrier. Be careful out there

    2. you need to visit Cambridge, the amount of ignorant cyclists, and those electric scooter hire riders here is amazing. Pedestrians are in danger. Most of the cyclists dont have a bell to let pedestrians in front the are going to be overtaken on the pavement, and many whizz past a speed. So many dont even have a Bell and No Front or Rear Lights, and some sure do use their mobile devices when cycling also, especially the ones on electic bicycles. Whats wrong with these cyclists here !!!

    3. @cyclingmikey Are you ever concerned about the amount of exhaust fumes you inhale while cycling? Especially in a busy city like London, I am thinking of buying a cycling respirator.

    4. Nearly got run over by a phone driver, to day.
Here's the text from my tweet.

      Going to the pharmacy today.
A car reversed, without looking, and would have hit me, if I hadn't belted the car with my stick, just before that, I was crossing the road, and a car (who had a phone in their hand), didn't see me, and braked at the last second.

    5. I think drivers shouldn't be fined for using their phones while stationary. But then if we accept this, then it would also be ok to use the phone if they are moving really slowly, the risk is low. But then, we can accept for the phone to be used when they are moving a bit not so slow and so on and so on. I guess you get my point. Whoever uses their phone while being stationery which is illegal, then we have to trust them that they don't use their phone while they are moving and Mickey is not able to catch them? I've seen cars moving where the driver is holding their mobile up high or they hold it low by the right knee where they think no one can see them.
I didn't see it but I caught on camera the other day by the Chelsea bridge a pedestrian being hit by a car while using the pedestrian crossing and the car having a red light. The driver didn't see a pedestrian in front of them or the red light. I can only speculate, but it makes you wonder where did the driver have his eyes, definetely not on the road. I reported it and the police called me to say that although the driver stopped he left without giving his details and when the lady reported it they had no idea who he was or the vehicle. Luckily my video shed some light and things are on track if it goes to court with the footage of the impact.
Bad things happen on the road everyday and I'm sure a lot is because of mobile phone use even if it can't be proved.
Keep up with your great work Mickey, it takes a lot of time and dedication to do what you do.

    6. Hi mikey I'm in a wheelchair I'm feed up with people doing deliveries they drive there bikes on the pavements and don't watch where there going on there phones is there anything you can tell me what I can do to report them

    7. You've probably got enough data now to exploit AI, so that you don't need to do more than record the transgression and avoid the confrontation. No reason why this couldn't become the norm in car too, theres no reason why this has to be a car v bike encounter (unless you're chasing ratings?). Where's Jaws?
