My friend’s son has been helping with filming, so we decided to reward his hard work with a visit to the Aboyne Bike Park in #aberdeenshire

If I’m being brutally honest, I’m a little gutted that I didn’t take my own bike along but there’s only room in the van for one bike and my tyres are flat. Plus effort! We initially thought going to #Tarlandtrails which arguably Scotland’s best bike park. However we were a little short on time, so it was Aboyne to the rescue! We also went to a coffee shop for a quick bite to eat, this in itself has become something of a tradition on our recent trips. Nothing says Sunday afternoon like a coffee shop visit with a fine piece (shout out to Shorty’s!)

The trip also gave me a chance to experiment with the Go Pro and you won’t believe what my drone managed to capture. Before you even say it, no. It’s not the twigs on the way back down…thankfully!
