При защите Сталинграда улицы города дольше защищялись чем Дания или Голандия с Бельгией и Францией😂
Bitter… knowing your men died for nothing… not even delaying anything… just nothing.
Its nice to see a movie that does show the manners between soldiers and enemys.
No everyone in the german army was as barbaric as the SS
Nice to see a normal conversation.
They could talk like that because everything was done already.
I dont want to glorify anything in this war, but we should see also the less brutal parts of it. Not everything was like the battle of Stalingrad or the SS.
A thoughtful and thought provoking piece..cheers, Johnny…E…
“The good lie” is a great film to check out.
Is that officer him from game of thrones..the pirate one?
This is a pretty solid film and quite history faithful for a change.

I believe this is still on YouTube somewhere, saw it after one of you war movie recommendations
so far, i've found two non-english ww2 movie that has errors of using provision props with english descriptions. as in this movie, the danish officer hands a cigarette box said "20 Vintage Cigarettes" is english. another one is 1944, where some canned MREs and other provisions of the estonian SS legion are US and British (i assume based on the writings on the cans and boxes)
Denmark broke before the Army did.
This is firmly realistic indeed. 🌺
This is such a good movie.
Una pelicula sobre unos COBARDES que no tuvieron cojones de combatir y morir por su pais ¡ me dan asco!
What the title?
People here debating on wether or not the germans were "barbaric" when the Unit Kingdom committed more warcrimes during the entire war then the german army as a whole. People really don't understand World War 2.
Danmark 🤝 Deutschland | Together germanics!
The nazis were horrible people, scum of the earth. But especially at the beginning of the war, germany needed competent officers, some of which didn't give a wink about nazism. The wehrmacht were soldiers first, hence the "most professional army to ever exist." Everything that happens AFTER the initial takeover is completely up to the nazi party, but during the actual wars that take place, the wehrmacht are better categorized as german soldiers, just like american soldiers and british soldiers. Once again, especially during early warfare. A lot of high officers as well fought in WW1, which saw the deployment of jewish german soldiers just like the rest.
Euron Greyjoy is sad.
Nice detail with the civilans congratulating the Wehrmacht soldiers there at the end. Considering Haderslev was part of the german empire until 1920 it probably had a sizeable german minority.
Here 80 years later we are still out of munition, still out of proper gear – only it's not the germans this time
