Deserves m0re clicks! great video!!!!!
What about Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat?
Great video!
To be precise, the area between the Italian border and Nice, for centuries the County of Nice, historically Italian speaking, until 1960 had been part of the kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia, the precursor of the kingdom of Italy.
In 1860 the county was ceded to France on the basis of an international treaty with Piedmont, which got help from France in a war against Austria, for the Italian unification.
To Garibaldi's great dismay, tas the Italian national hero was actually from Nice.
Place names were in Italian, until then, such as Nizza, which is still used in German, or Monaco/Montecarlo which retained the original, as an independent State. 👋
Fab video – really want to go here this year if possible
Monaco is amazing was there in 2021 🙏🏼😊
thank you!! How are the prices there to eat and stay overnight??
You didn’t do Marseille ?
He’s good looking!.!.
u went there by your own mate ? I've been to the French Riviera from Menton to Cannes but never beyond. I'll be visiting les calanques soon
Europe has some seriously stunning coastline that is hardly found in other continents. The west side of Cote d'Azur, Corsica, Amalfi Coast, Southern Croatian Coast, are the top pearls of the crown.
Thank you so much for this video! I love how you share the locations through google maps. Super Helpful!
French Riviera , in France nobody says French rivière 😅😅😅
We have been to some of these places but I much prefer to stay within the Provence inland, it's so beautiful.
Just bought my 'French Road Trip' book and planning my September getaway! Driving from the UK and hoping to do the French Riviera whilst retuning on the silver coast!
I couldn't find Esterrel in google maps
Fun fact on Marseille : Around 600 B.C., Greeks from the city of Phocaea, located on the shores of the Aegean Sea, left Asia Minor to settle more than 2,000 kilometers from home. After a long journey, these settlers founded a new city on the western shore of the Mediterranean to be called Massalia, Massalia (Μασσαλία) today known as Marseille is founded by Phocaeans (Greek colony).
The trophy of Augustus was built circa 6 BC, not in the 6th century BC 🙂
Very beautiful but NONE OF THE CALANQUES you talked about belong to Cassis, but to MARSEILLE !! Cassis has only one calanques and it's "port-miou" !
France is the most beautiful country, 😮😮❤❤
One time in my life and never more.
French people are so bad.
So beautiful
Really nice, thank you for sharing 😊👍
