    1. At a long ago Wesco Financial meeting, someone asked Munger about what type of vehicle to buy. Munger simply replied “Buy a Lexus!” The whole room erupted in laughter.

    2. Good discussion. Colombia: Civil society has proven to be robustly resistant to much of the populist nonsense coming from President Gustavo Petro. With new political leadership (1926), Colombia could blossom assuming the social contract is not too frayed.

    3. i like these guys a lot and where they are swimming, in the whole periodic table and weird stuff – very fun. But i have to say my straetgy was just much better; all i did was buy companies that were hammered by sentiment for a gaf of miscalculation: Goog, Amazon, Meta, in 2020, and currently buying bitcoin ETFs and miners, and MSTR, and i'm compounding over 26% per year
