Investigating the Inspirations Behind Pokémon 3 (500 Sub Special).

Third and possibly final iteration on Project Origin of Species, where we investigate the inspirations behind Pokémon designs. Credits to Dr. Lava Cut Content for finding primary sources with developer commentary, and Bulbapedia for being a good starting point to research and for its repository of images.

This time round I have opted to use Canva for the presentation instead of PowerPoint, but seeing that GIFs don’t work in Canva, I ended up still using PowerPoint for some slides. (Also, the cute robot found itself in every couple slides or so). Editing-wise I tried doing more J-cuts and L-cuts between transitions for the music. I also have a better idea now on how to use the pen tool to gradually increase or decrease audio volume instead of having the music always levelled.

Have also upgraded to my third microphone, the HyperX Quadcast Microphone, which has made me a very happy customer! Previously had been using the Blue Microphones Snowball iCE which is a bit cumbersome but good, and before that was using the Playmax Taboo Gaming Microphone (Pink), which worked but the audio quality left something to be desired.
