Thank you! I watched The Sound of Music for the first time last night and was in awe of Salzburg!!! Hoping I get to visit it one day! 🙏🏼
So good to view and appreciate thank you
I have a classical music background and have traveled to musical cities like this one 15 years ago. Rick Steve's travel guide is the most authentic, cultured and practical ones. He has good taste in music and culture. When I lose inspiration or feel down in life, I always come back to his musical city videos. The Salzburg Cathedral now has a youtube chanel and streams music regularly. Now we can enjoy the pure and elevated music of Mozart in his hometown sitting at home!
What's with gloomy gus in pink, and Auf Wiedersehen 👍🏻
Steve. I just love your Julie Andrew's impression at the end of the Salsburg video
I am living in the center of all these beauties of Europe and I enjoyed travelling through various videos with Rick to see the beauty in his cute videos and travel along with beautiful music. Should you ever come to Munich, let us know and just enjoy a visit here…
How lucky a man could be!
Thanks to Rick, I go on vacation every day, for forty minutes.
More one splendid work, thank you so much! Greetings and friendship.

My Austrian Ancestors Live Salzburg Austria In 1700s Came To United States I Love My Austrian Ancestry
A trip of my lifetime. Stunning.
I have just returned from a trip to Salzburg and surrounds, Austria is a beautiful country with stunning scenery and I will certainly be back – I was however left slightly underwhelmed by Hallstatt,, which in my opinion is not the best/most scenic village in Austria, yes the scenery, lake and mountains are beautiful to look at, we also took the furnicular up and down and got a great view from the mountain above, expensive though at 22 euro per person, didn;t go to the salt mine as we had previously visited the one in Bad Durrnberg, Hallein – however overall Hallstatt in the main is a mile long strip catering to tourists, there are so many beautiful lakes, towns and villages in the Salzkammergut region, many of which are better as they are just not completely full and overrun with tourists – St Gilgen and Fuschl am See to name but two are both easily reachable via the 150 bus from Salzburg, beautiful to visit and not completely overrun with tourists

Beautyful Salzburg. My husband and I spend a year in Salzburg, such easy living. What a way to live a life in freedom.
What is the name of the piece at 5:20 pls
Rick Steves, I am European and your videos have shown me, how beautyful Europe is. But I am thinking, how much quilt lies in it, you have shown the world how beautyful the world is, that is partly the reason of the refugee influx. They don’t know this, but have learned through your travels a world, they want to live in. And they are coming, so Thank you Steve for destroying, what every European loves most. Stop your travels, take your videos of the air, so Europe gets his piece back.
Me too🎉. I watch RS as often as I can so that I can feel like I’ve travelled.
The most classic European architecture
Beautiful Salzbourg amaizing thank you
Hallstatt looks amazing.
The scenery is Austria is unbeatable, however, the Austrian ppl have a long history of systemic child abuse and other abuses. Too bad the people there do not match the beauty of the place.
Is this area friendly with blacks (African or American) and other minorities? I’d love to visit but aware not all places of the world is welcoming of others because of their skin color.
I have been there over 7 times as a tourist, … such a beauty!
…so tremendously enjoyed this elegant movie of beautiful extravaganza of music, art, history and enchantment of everyday living, greatly thankful to charismatic Mr. Rick Steves for making marvelous Europe possible, love ❤️ you…

Unbelievably best travel narrator
My first time seeing Salzburg was in 1987 as a 18 year old and have enjoyed it several times since. 👍
I was there today. That city is so underrated, it's literally the best city in Europe
