Even though we had some ups-and-downs throughout our journey in Greece, we have been genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness of the locals and the Greek hospitality.
We not only had some great adventures cycling the country but also spent a week working on a horse farm on the island of Evia.
We are currently (until the end of October 2021) still in Greece and will stay at Tobi’s dad’s place in the meantime.
We hope you enjoy our video and experience our crazy time there with us.

I think now is a good juncture to think about extra protection for your guitar, wrap it in bubble-wrap? Be careful. I trust you have a first aid kit with you for such occurrences? I hope you leg repairs quickly. I find so many people are very helpful and generous from my journeys, only in the UK so far. Greece is on my list of places to go, through Croatia and Bosnia etc. Georgia is on my list too for future treks.
I've needed this today, thanks for sharing your journey 😀
Namaste from india
Really nice journey@greece
Unfortunate accidents tyres etc
Get well healthy early take care
Thanks from hearts gr8 days ahead to you in cycling 🙏😀
Hooray!. Well done you two. Shame about the accident, women drivers ay!!. Love the church comment!. Cockney's maybe say 'devil's horns / thorns'. Cut the bead off of old smooth tyres and stuff inside your posh tyres. Double layer, problem solved. I'm glad your busking is finally sounding pretty good!!. Anyhow keep smiling and enjoy you two lucky people 😎❤
Great video, nicely made.
Great storytelling enjoyed watching the video. Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope you have recovered by now good luck with the rest of your journey and stay safe.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! I really like your website as well. It's very nice that you share your routes and elevations. Thumbs up!
When will you arrive in Turkey?
Thank you very much for another great video 👍
So enjoy watching your adventures! Thank you for sharing 😊
Another great video!
I hope your leg gets better! These things happen, onwards and upwards! Great videos, I look forward to seeing the rest of your journey. Thanks guys.
Chapeau ,it just gets better
Warm showers someone had mentioned that to me in Georgia
Love seeing the two of you smile so much, enjoying your adventure and odyssey around the world. Is so nice to see a couple working together to reach their goals. Safe travels.
Which tires were you using?
Your flats most likely were caused by the seeds of tribulus terrestris, a nice
I'd love to cycle through Greece one day , excellent video. I recommend Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres I've had mine for 2 years and had no punctures.
how can you ride with saddles and no gloves
Looks like Greece is pretty good to avoid busy car traffic. What are the best countries if you want to avoid busy roads?
~ just stumbled upon your site! Greece is my dream, so I loved your video. The generosity of the people is heartwarming. Curious as to what sandals you cycle in? Thanks for sharing your amazing journey!!
Brilliant 👍
Too much luggage! Ridiculous what sort of touring is this. Tip – go to Dave Briggs helpful episodes on the Tube.
Epic adventure!!
What a documentary!, a real journey just to watch 🙂
You fell down?!?! Both of you?!?! I know you two did that just to make an old codger like me feel less bad for falling off his bike. Thats sweet, but don’t fall anymore. It could be dangerous. Be safe.
When I saw those cuts, I was worried she needed stitches.
Those Greeks are so generous.
You should boil the oats and add eggs. Better for your diet. Would give you some cheap protein. Also add some butter.
Carry bug spray.
Liked seeing you play.
With the bike so heavily loaded, it must be a real pain to change tires.
I was really impressed how you repaired the inner tubes. I would have thrown them away and bought new. Repairing them was very thrifty and didn’t fill up the landfills.
I've started watching your videos recently and was wondering about your wild camping, especially in semi-open buildings.Do you ask permission before camping in places or do you just take a chance, and if so do you get moved on very often?
Accidents do happen unfortunately, but any object isn't of greater value than the person you are with. Your girlfriend is your support and companion and she deserves total attention when there is an issue a guitar or camera or anything else is replaceble and has less importance than a person whom you share your life at the moment. A an has to stand strong and willing to be like a rock towards the person he loves.
Nice b-roll in the intro! (now back to watching 🙂)
So good that people have offered you food
I enjoy watching your videos and also your attitude encourages me to start off my riding! Thanks a million!
Bindi eyes in Australia, despite being quite small, can certainly puncture bicycle tyres. This frustrated me last March.
31:56Wish you had mentioned the duration of repairing the tyre here. How long did it take? These are interesting tidbits which I always look forward to in vlogs.
You can include the duration of all these happenings in the video by on screen texts (maybe somewhere in the corner or middle of the screen).
For example, if it took you 11 minutes to fix tyre number 2 then on the screen you can write REPAIR TIME : 11 MINUTES 🙂
What a coincidênce. In 2019 I entered Greece thro the same border from Albania and went also to Thessaloniki along maybe the same route. So nice this route. Remember being chased by 5 Monsters shepherds dogs. I pedal for my life then. The scariest moment of my whole trip.
Very Nice vídeo! I live in Southern Brasil, and if you are coming from Ushuaia to Brazil, you are welcome at my place. Find me in Warmshowers. MURILO TOMASONI in Santa Catarina province.
Good rolling!
How did you manage your asthma at the farm?
What a lovely trip…. besides the accident but how lucky to have a paramedic hosting you that same night. The people of Greece were so nice!
Are you Muslim
Where on Evia was this horse farm?
Very good
Nice video, thanks. Hey Tobi, you can easily buy a new guitar but Louisa would be impossible to replace. 🙂
Hi!!!lo siento mucho Luisa.el accidents ojala te recuperes pronto.cariños y bendisiones desde NZ
Enjoy your videos and hated to see the impact of the fall. I did not however like your comment about the church…I thought they were gracious to let you stay
