E Hello and welcome to the myw Sunday race club with four race starts we’re going to start with our category four riders in three two and one our Riders lined up in yellow that is our category one riders in green our Category 2 in blue Category 3 and category 4 in red what

That climb is done to this group went in as one group of red Riders now I count one two three four and I know there’s a fifth group as well behind that three clear groups in this category One race and the leaders in this category One race already already established a

Significant gap on the chase group early in this race Category 2 leaders on the way in this big group at the moment making the way in to the climb this is where we expect the break to happen do you climb and do you chase and expend potential energy here and it looks like

The Sony and hcraft are starting to be of that mind or do you wait as a big pack and then come through and Hammer into the Finish Well 400 m left to go of this climat and we’re starting to see all of our race fields not all of our

Categories come together Category 2 Category 3 category 4 I don’t think it’s going to be very long till we see the leader in the category One race as well so our leader now in category one catching our leaders in Category 2 Daniel right up there Corollas use those

Category one Runners to get up there so we have two Riders from category one two Riders from category 2 leading this race out Bry is responding can she come up and over the top of mina coinin or can Mina coinin hold this coinin runs to the

Finish bruny comes over the top I think br’s going to take this from Mina [Applause] coin hello and welcome to the mywo Sunday race club we are here for the women’s race today today it is qualifier number four in March 2024 and the women they are heading to Belgium we saw them racing in Australia on the Outer Loop course last week it was neck and neck

With between bruny and coinin last time we were in Belgium it was a Bates coinin battle in category one well we’re going to see what happens today so thank thank you for joining me my name is Emma Martin and I am here to bring you all of

The action from this women’s race Matt Payne is going to be joining me a little later but the women racing today 35 kilometers of racing 324 M of climbing and they have four climbs today before the 6 kmet run into the finish the CIA the venberg the ikenberg Hill and the

Ikenberg climb all short but all fairly Steep and Punchy climbs nothing over 3.9 kilm in length well that’s the first climb that’s the CIA then the other three are shorter 1.3 1.4 and 1.6 kilometers of climbing before the run into the Finish Well the tour of Flanders is next weekend will lot make

It three years running women here on the my Sunday race club this is the warm-up event and what a battle we are going to see in each of these four race categories our yellow Jersey category one our green jersey Category 2 our blue jersey Category 3 and our women

In red they are our category four Riders and it’s this category that is going to be first off in within the next minute so three teams today in the category 4 racer py 4 Squad hide and Lloyd the two Riders In the Mix today now Hyde two first places this month already so

Really on form the Silva Kirchner for the Phoenix Squad and Maria Kirchner for the power watts Squad to 21 riders in total on the start sheets today OS is here Vasquez Smithson sarasu alari Fon all these Riders In the Mix here in this category 4 race it is going to be a

Really good race today well Warren took the win back in February in Belgium in category 4 she’s now a category three Rider she’s progressed High finished second that day can she take the top spot the category four Riders are up and out of the start pen and out into the city this course

Now underway with a very flat first six kilometers before they get to the CIA climb where that gradient will top 177% on the first part of the climb the cter here it climbs up gets very very steep towards the top it then drops down into the dell and kicks again to the top

Of the climb 3.9 km being our longest climb of the day today so Fon LD Perry Solano in here alaras is in here Kirchner all in the mix here ktie bagot in here as well joined us for the first time last week so great to have bagot back in with us

At Smithson is here random ASI is here too so the riders in this group all together in fact actually as we can see already coming out that start pen has split this category four pack now the graphic I really do like to keep my eye on the one on the bottom left hand

Corner of your screen looks like the satellite navigation screen in your car and it gives you a really clear indication of a what is ahead of our Riders and B what is happening to the pack now this is the leading group in the category 4 race and you can see two

Groups already further behind so a fast start out of the pens getting the pace up really quickly on this flat section this group now rolling really strongly at around 40 kmers an hour Riders distanced off the back not standing a chance of getting back into the mix so navarez HOAs here leading the

Group out pushing on on the front just backing off of the pace W to get back into the group Claudia Hyde is here as well she’s in the mix with some phenomenal form this month can anybody take this win from her today we have got just over an hour to find out as

Kirchner bagot Lenor Perry OS all in the mix here Hyde is in here too this group of riders it’s looking like around 134 Riders in this group at the moment in the front of this category 4 race no we can see a few more than that so 16 17 18

Looks like 17 riders for me in this front group of this category four race so we have lost one or two Riders off of the start already you can see that on the bottom leftand corner you can see the distance and the Gap back to the Riders behind well the Riders at the

Front of this category 4 race that is the green Banner signifying the start of the Gent City Sprint coming at 2 kilometers into this 35 km race we’ve got two sprints today both of 300 MERS and ramski is the rider pushing on Megan romsky pushing on here the USA Rider

Wanting to stretch her legs through this Sprint kicking some good strong numbers at the moment 7 to eight watts per kilo she backs off towards the end no one else has gone with her she’s stretched her leg she’s gone down the road and she’ll be rewarded with the fastest time

So far through the Sprint section and the green skin suit signifying the fastest Rider through the Sprint in her category so Megan radomsky the rider who is now in that green skin suit the category four Riders 2 and A2 km into the race 4 minutes of racing underway

Well in start pens they are warmed up and ready to go category three will be our next Riders out onto the course so ride or die the team on the start sheets today Francisco D Silva pea zuga and arus the four Riders representing ride or die Francisco D

Silva has taken a first place this month in Category 3 so is Amy Clift she’s on the start sheets today Johanna Warren has come up from category four this month but we’ve also got Britany Litton we’ve got Ella Vin Emily mabin Emma sonis in here Georgina Hyde Degrassi is

In here as well turova Konan Hill Johnson all in the mix today this is a very competitive race field 31 Riders on the start sheets and the final seconds are counting down so away go Category 3 31 r ERS on the start sheets today in the category 3

Women’s race one of the most competitive categories on the myw Sunday race club 12 Riders so far this month have taken top five positions bearing in mind we’ve had three qualifi so far so the opportunity for 15 individual Riders to take those top spots while just one or

Two of them doubling up Rebecca Johnson taking a second and a fourth Nia toova taking a fourth and a fifth and Philip a hill a third and a fifth so just those three Riders picking up more than one top five this month strength and the depth here in these women really

Strong we’ve also had three different winners this month in the category three race D Sila Clift and Miller all taking top spots this month so so far are we going to see a fourth Rider takes top spot rounding it out before the final next week or are we going to have one of

Our already top spot Riders doing the double well Natalia idik is in the mix she’s on the screen as well and we can see the concentration on her face as she oh just taking a little look over her shoulder now if she could shoulder check in real life if she could shoulder check

On the Sunday race club she’d see a large group of riders all in the mix there on the bottom left hand side of the screen one Rider just distanced on the 1 km start so far but the pack up and rolling really strongly very very similar to our category four race field

Out of the start pen today so Lon Warren De Gracia Yas kabona Ares in the mix here berera is here as well Rebecca Johnson has been riding really really strongly this month and really found her climbing legs this month as well so coming into form will these shorter punchier climbs suit her

Just as well as the longer ones have been well we were going to find that out later today last time they were in Belgium the category three Riders it was a six up Sprint to the line so is it going to be a sixup Sprint

Today is it going to be a four up Sprint is it going to be a lone Rider pushing on and leaving the group it’s a big group of riders in category three they’re gonna have to see what takes place but the Riders are going to face

The four climbs in front of them on this Belgium course 35 kilm four climbs the quarter Kia climb 3.9 kilm with an average gradient of 2.5% are category 4 Riders while they are near nearly at the base you can see on the top right hand corner of your

Screen the gradient there just about to start to go upwards well they are working their way towards the ctera then our Riders have got the venberg the ikenberg hill and the ikenberg climb coming straight after that and then a six kilometer run to the Finish Lina degier currently leading the Category 3

Group uh they are 1.6 kilm behind the back of the category 4 race field now she’s going for the Sprint at the moment she wants that green skin suit she’s gone underneath the green Arch indicating the end of that Sprint and she has indeed picked up

The green skin suit in Category 3 now that skin suit being awarded to the fastest Sprinter in each category resplendant in green but she’s a category three Rider and the rest of those are in blue Category 2 on the start line with 50 seconds to go until they leave the start

Pen the legs are warm there’s 28 Riders on the start sheets today two teams the level maniacs white Herrera and baragan the Sunday crew Davidson gianatti and Daniel now gianatti one of our younger Riders under 18 uh has finished fourth twice this month so showing some great

Foreman she’s done really well on this course before so interesting to see how she races today but she’s got some serious competition Zimmerman Montgomery wener Miller lamb Kong Molly Weston Stefania Sanchez hiler is in here as well so is Lopez and Alat Hadlock and yaram Millo here

Two away go category two for qualifier number for in March the women are up and out of the St pen Kristen White is here as well from the USA going to be interesting to see how she goes as well Donna Vagner here too Yara Millow in the

Mix Alat Montgomery Dana Davidson too so Riders from around the world all up and in the mix they’re all cleanly out the pen one group of category two Riders moving over the Crossroad roads they go taking that swing into the leftand turn the Riders being led out by Vagner

Davidson in two Yaro in three Weston is in the mix too so is wener victori baragan all moving and moving strongly so the pace high already 500 meters into this race the pace just shy of 40 kilm an hour as they get the pack up and move

Moving now Category 2 was again a Sprint finish the last time we were in Belgium we said on category three it was a six up Sprint in category two it was a seven up Sprint it was Lam Kong who came out top that day from Montoya Walen Hurst

Zimmerman and Weston just two and a half seconds separating those top five Riders so looking forward to some very very close racing today Category 2 up and out the pen category four on the right hand side of your screen well they are starting to climb and they are starting

To climb the ctera now a technical climb today because the quarter it’s the first climb of the day and we said 3.9 kilometers with an average gradient of 2.5% but that is so deceptive because the quarter Kia starts steady you can then see on the top right hand corner of

Your screen it kicks steeply and the steepest section is 177% we then drop down the other side and then kick again to the polka dot Banner which is the Finish Line Of The ctera Climb segment so category 4 our first group of racers into the quter here Georgia Perry is leading the group

Claudia Hyde in two Grace poo is there OS ramski to Lloyd is in the mix so is nael uh these Riders all close together Smithson is here too one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 Riders it looks like in that category 4 race all

Climbing now the quarter Kia Category 2 they have split very early in this race you can see on the bottom left hand corner of your screen three groups now in this this category three race as they come under the start Banner of the Sprint this is the Gent City Sprint and

Well one Rider now choosing to push off the front but unlike category three and category four where we saw a concerted effort in the Sprint Christen White NOW choosing to push on and set the fastest time in category two so white I think May well pick up

That skin suit but yes she does so so she changes from the green jersey of the category 2 race field and the black shorts to The fullon Green skins suit but baragan goes up and over the top of white white continuing to push on so are

We going to see baragan and white join together here both part of the level Maniacs team well coming back into the fold now we’re not going to see the tactic of utilizing the Sprint segment to launch an attack off the front of this group well at least not this this

Early in the race today category one our last group of riders down in the start pen 26 Riders on start sheets today three teams aito skia Bon columia Giovani and sidick Nordic Spirit Well van HOV angstrom velt and bruny all having had top fives this month risky biscuits fer is back so is

Coinin coinin took second place last week she took second place last time we’re in Belgium to Lou Bates Lou Bates not on the start sheets today can coin and go one better well she’s got new company today because kinsky is here so is nyquest at gagos joined us last week

So did hul Croft but we have also got gen reel here today as well so New Riders In This category On’s women’s race 26 Riders on the start sheet up they go out of the start pen they’re going to clear the start pen and swing out onto the course Emma bfor is

Here as well today bruny sidick Belfor Shanks gagos real srom prao Hermanson there are a lot of riders on form here today Giovani London fer it is going to be an absolute cracker of a women’s race today they’re in Belgium they’re on this course in Brugge these climbs used for the tour of

Flanders it’s the tour of Flanders next weekend in real life we’re going to see who can win the warmup today lot of keki having won the women’s tour of Flanders two years running well she’s not on our start sheets today in here on my whoosh but we’ve got a world class field here

For you don’t think that we haven’t this is a world class E cycling field fer coinin bruny sidick columi kinsky Hermanson hoft gagos Shanks nyquest spadon embri I could keep going and you are going to hear the names of these women all for the next well I would say around 55

Minutes so 56 minutes and 8 Seconds took Lou baites last time Lisa Hermanson on the screen she’s in the mix she’s in the group one big group come out of the start Penning category one and it’s one big group still on our screens unlike the earlier categories where we saw

Riders come off the back very early on so the look of concentration on hermanson’s face at the moment in the mix with spom ggos Giovani van HOV Shanks London is here to this group moving and moving strongly just shy of 40 kilm an hour at the moment but the pace for these category

One Riders uh nice and steady at the moment hermanson’s heart rate at 125 now the Riders information the data you can see on your screen at the moment on the right hand side of your screen Lisa Hanson’s name is in blue indicating the rider we are in with on the screen

Which means the data you can see the rider data on the top middle section of your screen belongs to the rider highlighted in blue and now with Gonzales ruer So currently 146 watts in green indicating that she is in the draft when that wattage number goes into

The white that indicates that the rider is no longer in the draft in the pack the time elapsed 2 minutes 54 seconds the heart rate currently Gonzales R 124 beats per minute Cadence at 82 so we’re going into the Gent City Sprint for these category one Riders

Nobody wanting to pick up the mantle here nobody wanting to stretch their legs like we’ve seen with the earlier categories going through this segment I think they’re saving this for the climbs because they know it is going to be fast and furious and the power is going to go down later very strongly

Whilst it might look on paper like one of the easier race courses on the My Wish Sunday race club H looks can be deceptive well interesting to see Megan romsky is the rider who set the fastest time through the Sprint section she pushed hard out of the gun and she

Pushed hard for this in the category four race early on 22 seconds there 2 and a half seconds back to Kristen w at Category 2 sing the next fastest time through the Sprint baragan in three Alat Vagner Walen Hurst Montoya Zimmerman and then one of our fastest category three

Riders deg Gracia coming through for Ninth Place Dana Davidson rounding out the top 10 our category one pack well they went through very very steady taking 22nd Place down on the Sprint table no longer in the Sprint that’s because Category 3 here well they’re over the first part of the cter Kia

Climb we said it goes very steep at the top and then they start to drop down before the final kicker on the cter Kia that’s the section our category three Riders are on and there’s a good strong group there of nine Riders category four on the right hand side of your screen we

Just going under the polka dot Banner signifying the end of the cter Kia that’s the longest climb of the day it’s the only categorized climb a category 4 climb the category 4 group well it’s Perry from Smithson from hide sylvestro is in there as well random ski is here too she’s in that

Green skin suit she’s also holding the polka dot suit as well for the fastest climber OS now coming through just a little bit further back in the pack 23 seconds back to be precise Nikki Lloyd not far off her wheel I think we’ll see those two Riders come together so a

Smaller group now of category four Riders at the top of the climb Category 2 well they’ve just started the cter Kia climb this is the leading group in the category two race and now on the bottom left hand side of your screen you can see the climb ahead of them the category

Two Riders have come into the base it’s about to kick and kick steeply Daniel baragan Weston white Vagner herero all in the mix Zimmerman is there as well blow to these riders in this tight tight group of Category 2 Riders ahead of them on the road back

Markers in the category four race and the category three Riders well they are coming to the top of this first climb now category four over the top of the cter climb Category 3 and Category 2 well they are still on its slopes Category 3 coming towards the top

Category 2 they are just coming up onto the steeper sections this is 6% or just shy of 6% under their wheels at the moment Jenny Daniel is the rider leading the group Julia Walen Hurst in two Molly Weston Johanna Zimmerman Serena vori is here too Davidson in the mix as well and

You can see the Riders Zimmerman wener Montgomery Montoya and Miller pushing strongly different Riders different tactic Zimmerman sits back down in her saddle the other four Riders are still out of the saddle pushing on those pedals zimon and gets back out of the saddle Daniel leading this up here wenus

Gianatti the young Rider Davidson Montoya here Weston 2 this is a seriously steep section at the moment just shy of 14% I can’t tell whether that’s a Grimace or a smile on Catherine montoya’s face but wow the effort going in the wats going down the gradient just

Coming off at the moment it’s a big group of Category 2 Riders strength and depth in Category 2 absolutely phenomenal at the moment as they tackle the steepest sections of the CIA climb the grent now backing off a little a an almost a sigh of release I’m

Looking at that jul Wen her heart rate 193 beats per minute victori 186 the effort from these races pushing on up this climbs Arena vori leading the charge here in category two there about to go over the top of the first section of the cter Kia they’ll drop down into

The Dell before the final kick to the polka dot Banner on the left hand side of your screen our category One race have not come off the flat lands yet they’ve got about 600 met to go before they hit the base of the ctera real columia gagos London fom

Shanks angstrom all in the mix jerman poo here as well currently a steady pace for our category One race they’ve had a very steady opener the first 5 and a half kilometers of this race race today we are in March this is qualifier number four the last qualifier for the finals

Next week in March well we’re coming up to the 6 kilometer Mark which signifies the start of the quter Care climb it’s been a very steady first 6 kilometers for our category One race you can see the polka dot Banner that’s the start of the ctera climb and the gradient will

Very shortly start to kick upwards and I am imagining we will see the power go down through the pedals in our category One race so Gonzalez ruer you can see looking at the screen but also looking out of that window in real life well there’s no windows to look out of on the

My woosh platform but there is a window of opportunity here because coming up onto the cter Kia climb this is the start of the race in ER for these category one Riders and Gonzalez ruer the Cadence is high as she hits the climb the gradient now 6% under the

Wheel she’s got to go with this group you’ve got to be in the mix you can’t let them go on this course each of these climbs absolutely crucial to winning the race in category one it was a bait coin and Sprint last time we were here in

Belgium and Lou Bates she’s not on the start line today sidick was in third place with man Shandi and then Hermanson finishing fifth there were 36 seconds separating the top five Riders they are going to be fast and furious today and I think we’re going to see a very close

Race in category one today well Gonzales ruer closing the Gap and getting into the group so has our green Sprint Jersey wearer here Alis gagos coming into the back of this group all this group staying together at the moment so shanks Gonzales ruer columia Hermanson Gago

Sidick Kinski is in here as well so is Mina coinin she’s in the mix as well a strong category one group but we’ve already lost a rider off the back of this group on the quter Kia the earliest slopes of the quter Kia well it may look steep at 6% but it’s

Going to get steeper as these r as progress up the climb the stretch just coming on the group at the moment the push coming on from manuella at the front five and a half WS per kilo at the moment columia is up there so is Hermanson Gonzales ruer gagos Shanks and

Lson the Riders towards the back of the group here but they’re still in the mix they’re still in contention there is a push coming on at the front Emma Belfor is in here too ah there is a real push coming on at the front of this group at

The moment k chinsky bfor have gone with the move sidick pushing to here so is columi it’s Katherine fuer I don’t know why I’m surprised I could have guessed fuer is the rider pushing on on the climb she is on Amazing form at the moment Katherine fer seven watts per

Kilo she’s stamping her intention on this qualifier today Mina Coen well that’s her teammate from the risky biscuits going with her nothing risky with these biscuits today not when you’ve got Fu and coinin in the mix bruny is the rider doing the chasing bruny needs that Nordic spirit kinsky is

Going too so Kristen kinsky new to the Sunday race club pushing on at the front of the pack really pushing into the mix here got some great climbing legs as well kinsky so is columia but columia is now 5 Seconds back Hermanson as well so we’re seeing four Riders go clear in

This category One racer up and over the steepest part of the CIA they’re going to drop into the Dell before they kick again are we going to see the chase group get back on or are we going to see four Riders go clear this early in the race bruny fer kinsky and four

Riders In the Mix here in this category One race bruny Nordic Spirit F and coant from the risky biscuits bfor now also doing leading the charge on the chase group but she’s going to have to do some charging because these four Riders are well and truly away now kinsky the USA champ uh

Absolutely on form as well phenomenal power phenomenal ability joining conston bruny and fuer so 11 seconds back now to the chasing group being led by Bel for bfor has indeed taken the win she took the win in qualifier one on the Heritage climb back in March so can she help the

Group will they work together Lisa Hermanson is obviously on the charge as well on the front there but will they be able to work together will the north Europeans the Scandinavians in this race be able to work together and bring back this leading group of four or

Are we now seeing key split in this category One race already category one up and over now into the Dell on the quter Kia Category 2 well it’s looking like we’ve got a gap there as well now it’s looking like we’ve got two Riders Montgomery is up there at the moment so

We’ve got Riders clear in category two category three we’ve got a small group leading the charge they’re on The Descent at the moment category 4 well they are back on the Flatlands at the moment they have gone over the the quter Kia they have come down the other side they have gone through

The tison H Mullen Sprint and well the venberg is will what will face them next but category one they’re not thinking about that they are thinking about the top section of the cter Kia and fer bruny Kinston and are clear at the moment with kinsky so

For Riders clear kinsky going to need to put a push in here because it’s fuer who’s pushing on at the front so Katherine fuer absolutely putting her climbing legs to use here Towing the three of the group of four away columi now at the front of the chase group

Seline columi she’s putting a charge in behind because she’s gapped the group by 3 seconds but can she close down this leading group of four now it’s a big big ask 15 seconds separating the four leading riders in this category One race now from Selena columia in two uh Belfor

And Hansson still working strongly behind but as they come up to the top of the cter Kia that’s the polka dot Banner that’s fer bruny kinsky and and coin in the four Riders going clear in this category One race colomes leading the charge behind but she’s not closed down the Gap she’s

Gapped herself from the group behind but kinsky sets the fastest time up the climb 7 minutes and two seconds she’s got fuer bruny and coinin for company the next fastest time at the moment was Julia Wen Hurst are Category 2 fastest Rider she’s 1 minute 11 seconds back but

You can see Colombia bfor leading the charge but respectively columi lost 23 seconds on the CIA belf forth 26 well Matt has joined me in the studio I’m going to let him put his headphones on in a minute but the look on his face as those results came up for the courter

In the category one round face I think this is going to be exciting so bear with us a couple of moments I’m going to get Matt set up in the studio category one now up and over the quarter K climb category two oh we’ve got a

Group and we’ve got a real mix now as they’re coming up onto the back of the Category 3 race Category 3 lead as well on the bottom left of your screen still a good sized group leading category three at the moment category four well she set the fastest time through the

First Sprint of the day the against City Sprint she put her intentions out because she wanted that green skin suit Megan randomy is the rider leading the charge overall at the moment in the category 4 race she’s got a group she’s got a group she’s got a gap she’s

Established it the group is chasing behind well Matt Payne has joined me the men’s race is now complete no spoilers Matt allowed but was it a good race oh was it a good race my voice uh I think I left my voice in Studio One um it was

Absolutely frantic I actually if you ask me what happened I probably couldn’t tell you because it was a bit like standing in the boxing ring having people punching you like tag teaming you nonstop because that was what the attacks were like they literally were ring blows on each other they took turn

And turn B well the men were on the w and course yeah in the W and gone course and is an absolutely cracking course we know and it it just I mean there were Pursuits there were attacks it was absolutely crazy as we would expect on

On the Mi wish Sunday race club em the the women are on Belgium I mean it’s a Belgium weekend I mean we’ve seen the E3 on Friday k weam um with the change of timeing means actually we could watch the that whilst we were doing our prep

For the show as well the men’s and the women’s racing absolutely brilliant racing in both I’m sure our categories haven’t disappointed now I know there were a lot of New Riders on the start L us running through them have we seen anybody come in and go do

You know what I can do this in my sleep or are we are there people going oh my goodness what on Earth have I let myself I don’t think anyone’s thinking they can do it in their sleep mat but I’ll tell you something category one well I cannot

Imagine the tour of Flanders next week the women’s race is going to be as exciting as this because our category one women on the quter Kia uh Katherine F back in the mix this month absolutely putting her dominance down on the cter here Kinston bruny and new Rider Kristen kinsky to

The Sunday race the only Riders able to go with her well we’ve said uh Megan romsky in category four put her intention down on the against City Sprint uh within two kilometers of this race and she’s been doing it all the way through she’s currently leading that

Category 4 race and well she pushed on through the tison H Mullen Sprint as well setting the fastest time 24 seconds 24.1 seconds to be precise Bell forth in the chase group in category one setting the fastest time in category one with Stephanie sidick vanov all of those

Riders are in the chasing group in category one because the leading group in category one fuer coinin bruny and Kinski and this is Megan romsky uh who’s just being caught by the rest of the category four leaders that she’s really gone out I mean she’s taken the polka do

Skin suit of climbing she’s got the Sprint skin suit showing that she’s very comfortable or well let’s not say comfortable she’s very competitive in this group I’m not sure about comfortable that ratees 170 plus my only question really is can she sustain it to the end she’s been very very active and

Very very strong for the first 20 kilm of this 35 km race she’s still got 15 km of racing to go and well they’re up over the CIA they’re up over the venberg they’re on the top section and they’re going to drop down the other side of the venberg they still

Got the ikenberg hill and the ikenberg climb to go two very short sharp steep efforts before the six kilometer run into the finish so my question is has she burnt her matches too early or has she left something in her back pocket for the latter stages of this race I

Well I’d like to have a jet pack not a match in my back pocket for the back end of this race particularly because you’ve got the ikenberg hill and the climb and the transition between the two is minimal it’s really to roll through it’s going to be really critical now

Interesting to watch Britany listen up here on the climb here in the category three they are on the way up the venberg as well here so they’ve got to make their way around that leftand turn underneath the Archer then through the middle of the lake um on that sort of

Flatter section that it does allow a bit of regroup here but mbin think Clift uh belan Lon Johnson is I mean it’s a big group this nine Riders the the riders in here probably beltran’s the one uh who is the newest of our Riders In Here Again doing

A great job in that packing and getting into the pace and the rhythm of racing because that’s one of the things it’s been great I mean we are in the middle of a fantastic part of the year you’ve got the cape epic and and the mountain biking is absolutely phenomenal at the

Moment some brilliant images coming out in the the women’s race and the men’s race there we’ve got the classics on the road you still got the track World Cup in action you got the BMX World Cup in action uh we’re going to start doing the coverage for the xce for the world for

The World Cup for that as well as a BMX um I mean it’s a really busy time but getting into the rhythm of the racing is really really critical and and it’s yes we know it’s it’s platform dependent it’s discipline dependent as well and I

Think that for me is one of the key things here some of these writers really are adapting fast and jumping in and really finding the home and in part I guess it’s just because of the way that the categories are so close they are very very close and we were talking

About that a little bit Matt before you joined us because we were talking about last time we were on the course in Belgium and in Category 3 we had a six up Sprint in Category 2 we had a seven up Sprint for the line we’re expecting

To see some Sprints today as well and that’s about the strength and depth of this race field and how competitive these women are you know we’re looking here at the category two race this is the leading Group Weston Daniel Sanchez all have had wins all have had really strong races you

Know these Riders In the Mix here working their way now towards the Category 3 race field and the category 4 race field picking up Riders as they go this is a leading group here in the category 2 race gianatti is in the green Sprinter skin suit Wen Hurst is in the

Polka dot skin suit but they are part and parcel of that category two leading pack along with Daniel along with Weston and Davidson and Sanchez it’s a strong group it’s strong and the riders need to work out how much effort they put in because of the way this course runs it’s

It’s very easy to predict who will go well on a long long climb at the end of a long race because that is a defined deciding factor something way like Columbia a prediction of who’s likely to be up there is much easier when you’ve got this route where we’ve got the the

Cter Kia with its double stage climb we then have a relatively long run down to the venberg with a recovery section over the top and before we go in two fast succession Hills the ikenberg hill and the ikenberg climb but then 6K to the Finish it’s not simple to predict

Because a lot of these Riders can climb well they can recover well they can Sprint well and because it’s at the end of the race it’s a bit like the The Monuments the classics of of road racing or or a long KAC stage or uh the tour

Catalunia on the road it’s not just about who’s got the power once it’s about who can do that when it matters at the end of the race and it’s about the recovery as well isn’t it you’ve got you’ve got well one two three you’ve got four climbs but technically you’ve

Probably got five efforts across those four climbs because the way the CIA runs and then you’ve got the run into the Finish you’ve still got to have the legs for what could turn into a seven up Sprint I mean that’s where we were last time at the moment we’ve got five

Leaders in category four nine in the leading group in category three six in the leading group in category two and these four riders in the leading group in category one and it just shows you it really has broken up but it can come back together again as people pay for

Their effort now just looking at Emma Belford at the moment 22 seconds down 20 seconds down she’s rolling she’s using this momentum now the distance between the Riders is going to come down isn’t it when we come into the clim we go a little bit of a dip

Here as you come under the when you ride this you notice this um you come around this right hand turn and then you’ve got this little dip then it goes into the climb and you can carry a little bit of momentum onto the climb but then as you

Come up onto the climb and you start to hit the venberg itself there’ll be a compression at the front group they’ll slow off and that’s the opportunity if Emma Bel F wants to get across that’s where she’s got to do it the base of the clim when the leader slow but I’m not

Sure she’s close enough she’s more in danger of being caught from behind well I think this is a really interesting move from Belfor because she has gone she’s gone from the chase group and she’s now trying to bridge across she’s got 10 seconds on the chase group you

Cannot see the chase group behind her on the road she can’t see the lead group because they are about to go under the PO dot Banner sign find the start of the group but they are 200 M up the road from her and she is trying to work a way

To cross the Gap to cross the bridge to make it a lead group of five and not be in the mix behind because it’s still quite a large group behind Matt it’s the large group and I just can’t see a making it you you’ve got to Sprint across that kind of

Gap she’s a strong Rider she’s a strong Rider she’s a strong climber if she can use these climbs to her benefit we were just talking about the other disciplin seems like xce I mean we saw her in Fallon in the xce Emma Bel for R the

Fallon race in the xce that had that was basically up a big climb down a big climb round through the finish up a big climb down through climb back and that was about doing really hard sort of 30 second interval 20 second recovery 30 second interval and I think that’s the

Kind of effort she’s got to put in she’s got to put in that kind of dig and she hasn’t been able to put that in enough to close the gap down the Gap is now 30 seconds and I think Bel now is deciding do you know what a better tactic is save that

Energy go work with this group if this work behind I mean at least G in there I mean Lisa Hamas and Amia vanov Nelly L these Riders behind they are class class class and hermansson goes really well on this course we know she’s had top fives on this course before she goes really

Really well she does and I I I would not be surprised to see it at the very very front of the race all the way to the finish and I think she’s sort of coming back into form Steph sidick interestingly not in this group and that’s a little bit of a surprise

Because she’s going very well but there is a transition we know that stck has moved she’s currently on a sasal in Germany and there she’s been back to the States and then she’s gone back again travel takes it out of you it does and maybe that’s where we’ve seeing that but

This is a four qualifying month we’ve got the finals next week where that’s where you want to be on form because if you’re in a team you’ve got 50,000 uad for the the winning team you know you don’t want let your team down that’s a

Big prize not to take home well it is indeed a big prize to take home next week and these leading four Riders at the moment I well will they be part and parcel of that winning team it could be close it was risky biscuits who were foer and coin who we’ve already talked

About they finished in second place in the team competition last week but only 16 seconds behind a feto skia Bon columia Giovani and sidick oh 16 seconds back can they reverse that this month who knows you’re going to have to tune in next week to find out but at the moment it’s coinin

Bruny kinsky and fuer the four Riders leading the category One race at the moment we’ve got five Riders six riders in the chasing group we’ve got Hermanson Larson gagos van HOV sidick isn’t in the chasing group and this is getting really interesting bfor is there as well they are about to

Come up to the polka dot Banner signifying the top of the venburg climb they’ve got the flat section across the water before they go down the other side and I think that’s 42 seconds now that the category one leaders have on the chase group so M bruny Katherine fer

Mina Co and Christen Kinski going through 11 seconds faster up that climb then gas and Van HOV Hanson at 12 seconds so is lon Belford at 18 losing ground on that climb remember the venberg is the second of four categorized climbs the CIA is a two-stage climb in almost could be two

Climbs in the totality almost because it is so tough but we still have the ikenberg hill and the climb to come and that is where we see our category three Riders at 24.4k at the moment oh Britney L is attacking so Britany Lon first Rider to launch an attack well Cardona is the

Rider chasing Clift is there as well so is zik still a big group in category three nine Riders last time I counted in the leading group and Litton pushing on now Britany Litton has been in touch we were talking dogs and cats and pets the other week because you had your injured

Dog underneath the desk in the studio match Britany Litton two dogs and a cat she’s not a dog person she’s not a cat person she’s got to mix and match I like 50% of the choices well two-thirds of choices technically so H yeah please do

Get in touch if you are a rider and you have been in touch via email thank you very very much for doing so H it is great wait to see I know race control sent out an email for us asking for information and few people have asked us

What we want to know so here is what we’d really like to know here we’d love you to tell us even more than this but this is kind of a rough guy for you we want to know what you’ve done before so if you were a tily Winks or a box

Norling Champion tell us if you have been seconded in the JK International orientering Emma uh then please do let us know you know think that big trophy that the first person got you got toly little one for a second I think didn’t you uh so do let us know what your

Sporting background is what have you done before let us know that it’s really important let us know what your favorite route to ride on my wooi and what your favorite route to race is now this actually tells us quite a lot about you and you as a rider so that tells you

Your strengths and your weaknesses so really really important if you can tell us what route you like to ride what route you like to race best those two things so we’ve got three sort of factual things and we’ve got two things that are much more fun uh in some ways

I’d like to know two things one what sort of music do you listen to so we had Simona for example thas he’s racing to the Queens of the Stone Age today but if you are I can tell you Britany Litton grew up playing rugby and didn’t ride a

Bike until she was 26 fantastic brilliant and that’s also likes Taylor Swift and Red Bull Taylor Swift okay so Taylor Swift for Britney listenting on the club exactly and that’s what we want to know and the other thing is tell us what pets you have what animals are in

Your house not doesn’t count if you’ve got a farm and there they’re they’re not domes if you’ve got a farm and you’ve got chickens and goats let us know as well and I’d love to see some pictures of goats because I grew up with goats

Okay so go I did have a family as well okay I thought I thought you were like the like you grew up in a family of goats in like a shed somewhere instead of like instead of Apes goats well if you grew up with goats let us know if

Not even better tell us let us know it’s all seriousness thank you everybody who’s been in touch please get in touch send the email you can send it to control uh who will f it on to us or of course you can get in touch at Mat vix

Of pain for everything apart from goats or if you want to tell em about goats and all it is at biking uncore Emma well yeah at biking unor Emma because if you like me grew up on a farm where there were goats and rabbits and chickens and

Ducks and we also had 11 dogs wow okay there that’s almost as many animals as there are riders in that category 3 four leading pack on the right hand side of the screen the confusion of coming up to the category 4 Riders and was going to

Say it could well cause a problem for Category 3 it hasn’t they’ve gone straight through them that’s on the right hand side of your screen on the left hand side of your screen you got Category 2 leaders they’ve already worked their way through a sub me back a

Substantial number of riders in category three and in category four the polka dot Banner for the top is just around two right hand turns so it’s not just around the corner like you tell you when they’re moaning about how far you walk in it’s just around the corner and just

Around the corner after that but it is not far away at the moment this category two group are still groupo compacto they are not breaking here this is still a very very select group that is seven seven riders in this leading group in category two at Daniel wener Sanchez

Weston Davidson Kong gianatti phenomenal phenomenal group of women every single one of those women could take the win yep I would not want it I wouldn’t want to if I was a betting man and I had seven chips it’ be one each here that’s 100% because every single one of those

Riders capable of winning this race today it is going to be so close they’re at 25.4 kilometers into this 35 km race they are going to drop down the other side of this climb very very shortly they are going to then run into the ikenberg climb it’s short it’s steep it

Kicks slightly differently to the ikenberg hill which they’ve just gone under the polka dot Banner for the finish off then there’s a very steep descent with a six kilometer run to the finish a small kick M on that run into the Finish around one kilometer out it is

And for me that is a really key point because if you are on the limit on the run in and you hit that and somebody puts in a dig you can be distance you lose a lot of ground in relatively short space of time and there’s not much time

To bring the cap back once you hit that that’s in that I mean it’s almost in the last kilometer and a half that is where it’s really really critical not to lose ground because you can’t make it back having said that it’s very hard anywhere I think on the course and with the

Quality of riders we’ve got to make time back in category two on the left of your screen that group are absolutely glued together you throw a blanket over the top of them they’re so close to together and on the right hand side of our screen we’re seeing a similar thing and I mean

They they’re on the climb they’re at 27.6k of the moment so they are heading towards the top of the ikenberg climb this final climb for the these well the category two women are not on the final climb they’re coming on the descent into the final climb which is the ikenberg

Climb the category three leading pack are indeed on that final climb now and they’re going to have to put a big stretch in a big kicking because it’s a huge group the group is bigger than this Category 2 group so Kong leading it out on The Descent taking a breather

Dropping a heart rate look at that heart rate down down really really quickly at Daniel Davidson Weston giatti all in the mix Stefania Sanchez here too oh I’m trying to remember back when she had her last win it’s a little while you know she’s du a win that form really needs to

Come I’m not sure this is the course of Sanchez though because it’s she’s a great climber and that’s where her strengths are and if th if this was a w and go finish maybe yes definitely if it was something like uh a Colombian finish where we got those big finishes or the y

Y or the yit here on this course not as much so but it doesn’t mean that she hasn’t been training because you train your weaknesses and you raise to your strength so it could well be that she’s actually going to be the rider who’s going to be taking it away because she’s

Worked on that now attack on the front here Jenny Daniel at nearly 5 wats per kilo starting to stretch out coming up onto this climb the gaps are opening and Daniel again really working hard Lam Kong is responding M Weston Sanchez closing those gaps down at the moment

Walon H right in the mix so it’s not snapped yet and they’re starting to exchange positions Jenny Daniel is looking dangerous she’s on form this month she’s had a second and a third already riding for the Sunday crew so Dan one of the Riders on form Gatti

We’ve already said has had two fourth place finishes this month Montgomery’s had a third Wen Hur had a fourth and a fifth Weston had a fifth place as well so the riders in this leading group in category to all with Podium finishes this month well you can see that Defan

Sanchez the fastest going up the icon Berg Hill in Category 2 followed by Davidson Daniel Weston and wener all that far behind them it’s called jinsky for Bron and Co they got the faster time there and when we say it’s faster oh my goodness is it faster

23 seconds quicker now the category one leading group going through in fact the top nine Riders going through faster uh going through some 12 seconds faster for Emma belfi in Ninth Place the leading Riders are kinsky F bruny and Kon now for people who maybe don’t watch quite

As much racing uh as Emma and I and probably a lot of our Esports of fardos and addict do uh the riders that we have here Emma are the best in the world it it’s really is that straightforward isn’t it and because of that the very front of category one it’s not just

Sharp I mean you cut yourself to look at it wouldn’t you we talked earlier on mat when we were in the start pens about the fact that the women’s tour of Flanders starts next week on woodlock to capey make it three in a row uh but the

Quality of this race field is as phenomenal as the quality of the race field that we’re going to see on the tour ofs next week do you know it’s really interesting that you ask that because it’s a different discipline and I know we see we see uh Riders race on

The road we see Riders racing mountain bikes we see Riders racing gravel and Triathlon Etc and racing the myu Sunday race club but you cannot make the assumption that because you are a strong road racer in real life that you can jump straight onto the myo Sunday race

Cup and win because this is a discipline in its own right you’ve got to spend time learning technique you’ve got to spend time learning tactics in exactly the same way you have to transition from Road riding to track riding or track riding to mountain biking I agree 100%

100% it’ be interesting to see how our Riders come in and across I me that we just saw Christ kinsky she’s a rider who has really developed her cycling riding on Esports in this group in category two Emma we’ve got a real mix of riders in

Here haven’t we I mean we’ve got Riders as you said people like Britney Litton in here in Category 3 who is a rider who’s literally you know started riding in her 20s it’s not like she’s been riding since she was two years old but we’ve got we’ve got a lot of riders who

Come to orts uh later in life and it just shows it doesn’t matter what age you are you can get on a bike and you can actually start riding you can get onto the mywo platform you can ride you can race you can join us I was chatting

With Nikki Lloyd not very long ago one of the petty for Squad in category 4 she’s only recently started cycling within the last 18 months and my wooi is the only thing she’s done and I think that’s absolutely brilliant to see okay let’s do a quick Roundup so at the

Moment category four who are not on our screens are the leaders on the road five Riders down the road they are split and they are broken into groups now that has split category three right hand side of the road big group of riders at the front big I and looks like there’s about

Four riders in that group they chase behind about 10 seconds back that five coming closer again so no sooner have we spoken as that group comes back together again on the left hand side of your screen you can see our leaders in category to now this is an even bigger

Pack of riders coming through they are a little bit behind the Category 3 leads they’re making their way over the top of the climb they are into The Descent at the moment and then they’re going to have that long run into the Finish not split that seven Rider group who went

Into the base of the climb they’re coming down off The Descent onto the flat run into the finish and uh well they are all still together and tell you who else is all still together fuer kinsky and bruny mean a coin though they’ve dropped Mina coin on this

Final climb seven seconds to Gap to mina Co coyon who’s been riding really strongly the last few weeks really coming back from injury at the moment though not able to hold the wheel of kiski not able to hold the wheel the front there of bruny not able to hold

Onto Catherine fer the Riders absolutely giv it everything this is the final climb and Kon has got to use these Riders there are Riders between her and the leaders and there is distance for her to get back but once you go over the top it quickly picks up the pace doesn’t

It it does quickly pick up the pace very much so because the gradient on this descent is so so steep it is so Steep and we’re seeing these Riders fuer bruny and kinsky going over the top coin and now 10 seconds back is going to

Close this gap or is she now going to have a lonely six kilometers on the run into the Finish fuer bruny Kinski three Riders now leading this category One race Mina Clinton went into the bottom of the climb with these three but at the top of

The climb she is now 10 seconds back further down the road Lo at 32.8 km into this 35 km race they were the first category to leave the start pens Hyde Perry and indeed sylvestro are the three Riders still at the head of this race well Matt these category four

Riders Fast and Furious through Belgium today three Riders clear at the front two Chasers and then it’s the category three leading pack coming fast behind and it could well be that we’re going to see the category three pack pick up Megan rowski as well as L miss here and

Start to come through but time is running out 33.2k the distance for our race lead us in category 4 and those two Chasers need that pack behind to come quick and then they need to jump on board if they’re going to make up the ground the three leaders going to be

Looking back behind and seeing what’s happening the racing though is playing out isn’t in in terms of categories the top eight positions the eight now nine Riders going through in category one the pressure is on kinsky leading them through 303 of a second from bruny then fuer you can see and losing 13.9

Seconds on the ikenberg climb 30 plus seconds for the rest of the Riders that’s a big big gap it is a big gap now in category one these are the leaders on the road the leaders in the CATE four race so it’s Hyde Perry and sylvestro

They have got over a minute on random ski and Smithson now oh I jumped in with Liz Smithson uh about 10 days ago she’s got some good sprinting legs on her on one of the coach leed’s rides that was great to have some company well Smithson and randomy are the two Riders keeping

Each other company on the run in on the chase for these three Riders these three leading Riders in the category 4 race have got one kilometer to go the leading riders in the category 3 race have got two kilometers to go so one kilometer separating the leaders in categories

Four and category three in between are the Chasers in that category four competition is going to come down to the run in to the line so right hand side you’ve got claudo hide with the white helmet on that red jersey you’ve got Perry who is the rider with the cap on

In the I think and it’s going to be ciciliano who is in the polka dot skin suit three Riders it’s going to be a three-up Sprint here the Gap back to romsky and Smiths is to Big even if they get caught in it looks like there’s a

Push the push goes on from Perry Perry has pushed long with 500 meters to go Hyde has responded with a huge huge kick 8 wats per kilo from Claudia Hyde at the moment she’s backed off slightly realizing how long she’s got to run but it’s allowed Perry to come back through

Ceciliano sylvestro is the rider in three but she’s not fighting it out with Hyde and Perry the finish line is there the UCI Banner is Hyde is Perry it’s Hyde who’s going to take this from Perry from sylvestro one two three in category 4 they’re the first Riders Over The Line in Belgium

Today so Claudia Hyde uh Georgina Perry jazella sylvestro one two three in category 4 this is the category three race and boy have we got a strong group here Clift beltron Vin is Litton mabin all in the mix here the Sila is here as well Cardona as well

This is a big group still this is still a group of nine Riders well who’s your money on here Emma we’re coming into 800 meters to go will it be thing’s got a great Sprint on her so has Emily mabin mabin loves the Sprint we saw that in

The myw Championships it’s going to be so so close 700 meters to go it’s almost a case of who is going to Blink first well who is going to open this up first is someone going to come from the back through onto the front Beltran is

Sitting on the back at the moment but they are wide across the road with 500 meters to go there is a small kicker coming very shortly is that going to be the Launchpad for a rider here are we going to see Vin are we going to see

Litton are we going to see Clift push on they are looking at each other but it’s Britney Lon who’s gone so Lon goes first she liks the touch paper at 81 wat per kilo who is responding behind Clift is coming Clift is coming it goes 11 watts

Per kilo Iz has lit the touch paper but has Lon made it does Lon have the Gap I think maybe she does yep Britney Lyn she goes under that line first Natalia ID in two to Silva coming through for third place that was a cracking ride a

Cracking finish in the category 3 race so what a brilliant finish timing is everything have the category 2 Riders learn from this here we go 300 met now 250 M wur kicking at the moment xat is coming through xat is going hard can Wen Hurst hold this from xati from Kong Lam

Kong comes over the top it’s going to be Lam Kong takes the win from Walen Hurst Lam Kong Western Wen Hurst and jatti with Davidson coming over the line so we’ve had category four we’ve had category three we’ve had C category two in on the Sprint finish timing is so so

Key big big groups now little bit different here we’ve got kinsky who has gone a little bit in front here she’s got a gap and the run is going to come from behind fuer at 6.3 Watts a kilo bruny at seven Watts a kilo at the moment they are starting to close down

On Kristen kisy kiski does not have the advantage of having raced here both bruny and fer have and now this is the run on to to kinsky wheel here we’ve just hit 600 meters to go but this could be a long one well it is going to be a

Long one I think because bruny’s opened up early at seven wats per kilo M bruny comes up and over the top of kinsky and F they very very quickly modulate their Pace to get back on her wheel as bruny comes off at the pace and goes to the

Back of the group this is cat and mouse at the moment here with these three riders in the category One race foer now picking at 8 wats per kilo she is the rider who put the first attack in on the quter climb today she’s coming around

The corner to see the UCI banner and bruny is behind but fer is going to take the win today in category one m bruny is going to come through into Kristen kinsky is going to take third place today these Riders W clear coinin was with them she got dropped on the final

Climb but Mina coin is going to come through and across the line in fourth place today but Catherine fer well Matt she’s back she’s back and back with the bang cathine fer when she was climbing and specifically climbing she could climb away on the big climbs she didn’t

Need to do that today she put in the then got the timing right riding on the platform great rid by MBR who’s on form brilliant right by chrisen kinsky I can’t wait to see her when she’s used to this platform she’s going to be a forc to be reckon with Mina and coming

In through for fourth place here today an incredibly quick race here 53 minutes 15 that is incredibly fast there it’s three minutes quicker than the last time we were in Belgium when Lou Bates took the win from Mina Kinston 5608 was the winning time that time well

F bruny kinsky and coincident to her credit they kicked on they kicked on early and that group of four stayed away until the ikenberg climb where they dropped Mina Kinston fuer takes the win from bruny from col chinsky from quinston uh absolutely fantastic Lam Kong taking the win in category two from
