    https://www.origine-cycles.com/en-GB/velo/gravel/graxx-gto

A French roll please. Franzbrötchen are much hotter than Energie Rigel. As you can see, my French is perfect but you don’t need it if you want to buy a bike from Origine. I admit, I’ve never heard of Origin before or actually seen it

I have used the bikes many times, because they put the blue spare wheels on the blue Shimano Cars at the Tour de France. And Origine is a not-so-small bike manufacturer anymore France who produce and sell everything bicycles directly. Of course also gravel

Bikes. Origin also has various service partners in France. So it’s not a problem at all to buy a bike like this. They don’t exist in Germany , so you either have to go to a dealer

Find someone who can work on your bike or do everything yourself. I have the graxx 3 GTO here. The carbon gravel bike from Origin. The special thing about Origine is that you have the bike right down to the last detail

You can configure it in detail to suit your needs in the online configurator . We’ll take a look at that now take a closer look. So I logged into the Origin account and here you can see me I played around with the configurator and you can save them all here forever, that is

Cool and here is the bike that I currently have as a test bike and the configuration let’s do it again a little bit now. I’m here in the configurator now and it’s coming very carefully look at the bike that I have standing here and off we go. Of course you can

Select a color and you’ll see there are all sorts of different colors and you can Of course I would also like to say that it is not two-tone like my bike here, but a second one Choose a color and make it monochrome and you can also make it glossy or matt

You are funny and you can also choose the logo, so of course you can here too Select a bold Origin logo like the one I have here on the bike, that’s probably it big one here or no logo at all so that’s also very nice. Then you can do the circuit

A GRX 1 x 11x is currently installed here and it’s always very exciting Whenever you configure something, you will also see what the price and more are or causes less weight. There is also a GRX 12x, which is equal to 350

G heavier but that’s not because of the front derailleur or rear derailleur, but because you are too A new crank and cassette comes with it. Of course you can also choose the cassette You can choose the crankset and you can also order a power meter if you want

If you like, you can choose the wheels and here are the Vega C35 from the house brand Prymahl Pro uses 35 mm high carbon wheels that are very wide and extremely light, I can see that straight away again I think the wheelset weighs 1350 g and that makes it super expensive

That’s why we end up with a total price of €4300. But there are various other wheels available Part significantly cheaper and whatever is available you can also order it with a hub dynamo If you need a lighting system, very nice. And you can also choose the tires themselves

Here you can find everything from Conti, Schwalbe and various others and you can choose whether you like them Wanted to have it set up tubeless or with a hose. You can choose the saddle here is a Selle Italia SLR Boost Superflow just installed which, by the way, I find quite comfortable and there’s

There are also various other Selle Italia saddles that might be right for you You can choose handlebars, there are different Ritchey models made of aluminum and carbon, even that You can choose different handlebar tape, even in different colors. Pedals, buys bikes

You usually go without pedals, but of course you can also use pedals here too Order and you will always see the weight and also the bottle holder You can even choose bottles yourself and you can also choose luggage racks if you want

Luggage racks can also be configured here and even bags for the bike As I said, always the price and weight down here that you have just configured together. The By the way, the stated weight always refers to frame size S, so I have frame size L here

Significantly larger and therefore heavier than stated in the configurator. It weighs exactly 8.3 kg which is pretty light. When you’re done configuring If you order it, it will take 6 to 8 weeks for it to be delivered to Germany

Delivery price to Germany is 95 €. By the way, shipping for Rose and Canyon is €40. Now let’s go back to the features of this test bike that I have here, as I said You can configure yourself however you want, so this is just an example. The frame is

Of course made of carbon as well as the fork and the fork has mounting points for fork pockets is always set. That’s the GTO model, the GTR model, the frame is another 100 g lighter costs a few 100 € more. The cables are all routed completely inside

Here again under the stem through directly into the headset as it is somehow very modern is. Here too you have various screw points everywhere, although not on the top of the top tube So if you want to attach a top tube bag then you need one with you

Velcro fasteners. Bottom bracket screwed BSA very nice which makes it low maintenance. Tire clearance 45 mm yes, that’s kind of standard too. Schwalbe G-One RS tires in size 40 are currently   being installed  here mm I didn’t find it in the configurator, but I have no idea whether it might be

Are sold out on my test bike but are on it here so I’m guessing that it’s here too Origine can be configured. The wheels installed here come from the house brand Prymahl, the Vega C35 pro and as the name suggests, 35 mm flank height and 1400 g weight

Super light despite the high wheels, which I think is really good, but they are very expensive They cost €1700 alone, hence the high price of the bike. I’m going now outside. As always, it’s bright sunshine in Hamburg and then there’s another conclusion.

I admit I’m delighted, what a cool bike, it’s actually really fun. It It’s super fast and super comfortable! I’m not quite sure yet, what exactly is that about? We’ll take a closer look at this in a moment. See you soon.

80 km later I’m back and I have to say I find the bike super comfortable I just don’t know exactly why yet. I guess it’s just a mix of the frame, the wheels and tires. By the way, I drove   the Schwalbe  G-One RS for the first time

And they are actually super comfortable and super fast but as soon as it gets muddy they are which is hopelessly overwhelmed. And as always, I thought the Shimano GRX gears were great really great here but with 1×11 speed, that’s a bit too lean and a bit for me

Not enough bandwidth so I would rather switch to 1x12x. I would say the original graxx 3 GTO is the perfect bike for long bike packing holidays, comfortable and yet fast and it’s the perfect bike if you don’t want an off-the-shelf bike in Germany

You will be one of the few who ride an Origine bike and you can do exactly that Configure according to your needs. Then the price is great because you somehow you don’t have anything that you still need to buy. So actually the perfect bike for my next one

France vacation but not with the circuit, as I said I would wish for something different and unfortunately the bike has to go back. But it doesn’t matter, because the next bike is waiting Already on the test and we’ll see you very soon in the next video. Until then, ciao
