Northern Ireland’s biggest trail centre – Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor… on board with the fastest man around the Red Loop AKA me* 😅 It was the date XC nationals should have been on so I took the XC bike out of COVID hibernation for some raking. Went out to do a full gas lap, but had to revise that plan after the first hill 🙈🤢 Ended up just having a fun cruise round.
These are the last few trails back towards the trail head/main carpark – arguably the most fun as they’re pretty high speed and relatively flowy. They’re also ridiculously dangerous with loads of pedal height boulders hidden in the grass at the edge of the narrow trail and lots of awkward corners! 😬
*1h 12min, come at me 👊tho the e bikes are getting close on the climbs 😱
