Hello, i just visited a local bike shop and they straight up told me i should replace it because its that bad. Is it really? I mainly ride the 6 dirtier rows as u can tell

    1. Looks not worn at all. You should clean your chain/cassette though.

      Are there any issues with the drive train?

      Im not sure about the one where the chain is placed. It look like shark fin, which normally to me is a sign its worn. But the rest is still great. How is the length of the chain?

    3. Your most used gears may be starting to wear. Look at the shape compared to least used after a good cleaning.

      They start off nice and square. As they wear away it won’t hold the chain under heavy torque/up hill.

      If the chain starts slipping in those conditions its time for a new cog.

      If you try just chain first and it still slips its definitely time for cogs
