After 5 months my adventure through Scandinavia comes to an end, as I take the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn. I continue through the Baltic countries, where I follow large stretches of the Trans Euro Trail (TET). Long endless gravel roads took me to the far south-east corner of Estonia. I cycled up Suur Munamagi, the highest point in the Baltic countries and took a 1km detour through Russia. On bumpy washboard roads I found my way to the capital of Latvia, Riga, where I stocked up on fruits and vegetables at Europe’s largest market. In Lithuania I saw the hill of crosses and I got invited to stay with Lithuanians. The Baltic countries may not be the most spectacular, but they are beautiful to cycle if you love nature and quiet dirt roads.

    1. What a journey! Good luck! I'm actually from Lithuania and it's nice to see that you've had a pleasent experience out there 😀 although, when I see the trails that you're riding, I kind of feel sorry to you 😀

    2. Great video man! New subscriber, will catch up on your other ones now too 🙂 Can I ask, how did you make your moving map? I want to make one for my cycle tour overview and want to try and make my own, but if I might have to pay someone to do it.. any help would be so appreciated. Its just what I'm looking for, nice and simple. Right.. time to watch your other videos:)

    3. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
One question – you seem to have so much luggage. Is it because of your tech you carry or did you just overpack??

    4. I carry black zip ties with me for breakages like the problem you had with the rack. They will hold until you can find a replacement. I carry 6 of them because they weigh nothing.

    5. I think I've figured out how this kid is such a strong athlete. His knee area compared to overall body size. He's accomplished some quite powerful feats in exploration.

    6. Hello Niels, as always well done & great entertainment. Thank you for showing me the Baltics from a bike perspective.
      Many greetings
      Bernard

    7. The disadvantage of your new rack is, that the weight of your packsack is pushing now on the pannier bags and putting extra stress on the attachment points instead of laying on the upper part of the rack….
Anyway, have a nice journey and safe travels!

    8. I absolutely love your videos man!! I've went from south to north of Norway, but I'm dreaming of one day going on an longer adventure like yours 🙂 Very nice editing, and I like that you always try to challenge yourself, like going up to the highest points, the seven sisters etc. Now I will watch all of your videos 😀
