Caford Heath is a large area of heathland in Poole, Dorset, England. It’s the largest heathland in Dorset and the largest lowland heath in the UK. Much of the heathland is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and part of the Dorset Heathlands Special Protection Area. The heathland is home to many rare species of plants and animals, including the smooth snake, sand lizard, and Dartford warbler.

    Canford Park SANG: This 60-hectare park offers a variety of habitats, including woodland, heathland, meadows, and a river. There are also several walking and cycling trails, a dog walking area, a children’s play area, and a café. It’s located just south of Caford Heath, near Wimborne Minster.
