Bicycling in Helsinki Finland – Malmi to City Center (1 April 2021)

(4K) Bicycling from Malmi to Helsinki City Center on 1st of April 2021. This tour starts in Malmintori, continues through Viikki Campus and Viikintie to Hämeentie including it from start to finish and ends in the Railway Station in the City Center.

Route: Malmi – Pihlajanmäki – Viikki – Viikinranta – Vanhakaupunki – Toukola – Vallila – Sörnäinen (Kinapori) – Kallio – Siltasaari – Kluuvi – Railway Station.

The spring is here but it’s not the best time of the year to go bicycling in Helsinki. Everything looks grey, there are no leaves in trees yet and the remaining snow is just dirty. It was very dry day, so there was dust everywhere that made the air quality poor too. Nevertheless, it was still nice ride in relatively warm day of early April in Helsinki.
