Hey there,
Was hoping to get some guidance on replacing the handlebar grips end piece (metal washer looking part seen scuffed up in the picture) on my FX3 after taking a slight fall the other day. I’m not sure what the technical name of the piece itself is or where to get a replacement so I was hoping someone more knowledgeable here could guide me in the right direction?? Ideally would like to just swap in the new piece as the grips themselves are still usable and in great condition. Thanks!

What’s the logic behind replacing them? Assuming you are riding often this will just happen again. Imo don’t replace them. They are there to get scratched up while protecting your bars.
Don’t bother replacing it. Chances are it won’t be the last time you drop the bike.
Well, if they are still functional, I wouldn’t get too twisted up about the aesthetics. Especially if you like the grips and find them comfortable. But if you are one of those people who likes your bike to appear immaculate all the time, that’s fine, I would replace them with Ergon grips which are as good if not better than the OEM Trek grips.
Update: I found it! Posting here in case anyone else is curious.

Bontrager IsoZone City Grips. Any Trek authorized dealer has them in stock.
I have the same grips on my FX3 and ordered custom bar ends for it. Unfortunately the ergon grips have a totally different bar end. It’s not completely hollow at the end cap so I can’t use those grips I bought. 😡
