Game today uh very good very good I did the coverage of the last seconds game a very convincing 9-1 win against rexam might be a bit more of a match today but it was an absolute treat of football from sford there so hopefully we’re going to see the same again today yeah

Great day for sford sport today uh as the refs prepping the players it’s a good time to tell you three games in three days we’re in the big leagues now o three dayses in three games in one day I’ll correct you I’m so I’m so sorry for

It does sound catchier it’s three days and three games but uh no three games one day we’ve had the lads down and lead today covering the women’s is it the cup quarterfinal I believe finals yeah uh and then we’ve also had uh some LS down

At K and Ashton where it was uh the sford first playing um the UCF seconds which they won 53 it’s just the reverse fixture of last week again where they won 51 so Salford on fire at the moment massive massive shift from our camera operator Thomas today he’s going to have

A good night’s sleep tonight he’s been working very hard very very hard he has he was down at that first game earlier um and he’s made his way back today uh this afternoon so we we owe him a lot we’re joined with our presenter Jonathan today as well everyone’s putting in a

Shift here at sford sport TV it’s going to be a good game it was 2-0 out to uh sford seconds last time out um so they’ll be hoping to get another win today yeah I think it was it was a control game so we’ve heard strong defense you know sof want to replicate

That I think they’ve been without uh uh clean sheet for I know maybe that’s the first team actually I apologize but no they they’re look we’re looking for a clean sheet they want to keep it tight and we’ve kicked off now uh ucfb taking it and playing the ball up long last

Game was uh 91 to Salford seconds uh it was an absolute route against rexim but that that goal’s got to kill him hopefully we’ll get a clean sheet today ucfc ucfb start they were on fire last week Lewis it was a a really convincing attacking performance they they found so

Much space in the Midfield they were very tight uh at the back and they were very threatening up to top hopefully we can see some the same although we do seem to have a few changes in the lineup uh notably uh hatrick her last week Spencer wood has not made an appearance

He is on the bench um perhaps they need to lock in for some goals later in the game we will see him ucfb on the wing here starting well I think it’s going to be a very very close game today probably one of the closest closest we’ve covered are they

Going to get a goal straight away here they’re in the Box it’s dangerous dangerous area for sford they’ve won the ball back well though clear it’s played up down the left by Will Robinson and Edgar just uh has it knocked out but it’s a sulfur throw yeah you’re right uh ucfb have

Started really well um you know we’re not far into this game only a couple minutes but they’ve looked sharp they’ve looked quick looks like they’re trying to get at sford um cause them troubles early soord just needs to calm it down which you know is what they so good at

Last week so hopefully they can sort that out I feel like I say this every week OE but it’s bloody cold it is we having a debate before the game whether we were going to put coats on um but it is it’s a little bit nippy but at least

It’s not as windy as it was last week and we haven’t had any rain yet can they get a goal early here number 11 Harvey Le and it’s a oh and we’ve even got the bench left we all thought that was in the sua bench are celebrating too it it arrowed its

Way in towards that left hand corner but it just went wide an absolute Screech from the subs bench um you could you could probably hear bench warmer Harry chisel screaming from the top of his lungs there um he never shuts up that man does he ucfb look to attack again number seven

Getting a lot of the ball early on uh it looks to be their game plan playing on the wings yeah he’s got a good attacking presence is that number seven he’s see he’s quick he’s direct and he he’s getting defense they just need to sort of figure out how they’re going to

Handle him sford again down the left hand side now there Edgar there on the ball playing it back up ball The Unlucky the ball goes over it’s a great block by the ucfb defender there number nine Ryan couldn’t quite get that shot off there no he was just

Intercepted like I say he a great defending there from the ucfb the camera will catch me I almost swore then um I almost well I did Flinch thought that ball was coming straight to my head I’ve got a couple a te to warm my hands up but it’s not doing much work

O yeah we are without glov today it could prove fatal as the Suns sets down um in this game today last game was 2-0 I’m hoping for a few more few more goals today yeah last game against U ucfb earlier in the season yeah um yeah

Hopefully a few more but you know two competitive teams competitive game can be just as entertaining is there a goal coming here they uh they Sol um can’t get my words out Ollie specialize in football ucfb um you know careers within within the game of football so you’d

Assume they’ be quite well versed quite good players yeah I mean this is their fourth team and I believe their lowest but that is no discredit to them um clearly is they’re already shown in the early stages of this game that they are forc to be reckoned with absolutely but

Sford seconds have got to be wanting to win they’ve got some some really really good players the firsts beat ucfb firsts um not too long ago last week I think another very very cold day yeah they’re in a tight uh battle with um Liverpool St St John’s I

Think last season they’re last game of the season we will be there covering it I may even have a beer in hand instead of a cup of tea you never know and it’s uh ref calls for a foul in the box there it’s a free kick to

Ucfb yeah another two Yorkshire men on commentary today there’s a real Yorkshire presence within Salford sport TV isn’t there oie yeah proud to be representing um North North and South Yorkshire today big up big up the mobile awards are in Sheffield tonight will you be watching

But is intercepted now ucfb look to try attack I think this is probably the closest game that I’ve I’ve commented on so far yeah I mean you’d think it I don’t think that was a fou do you he just lost his Foo in there he’s not appealing for a foul it doesn’t look

Like a dive it’s just a l of footing Here Comes Edgar he’s got some space to work with now he plays it down to Ryan kumber it looks like he’s trying to get into the box at the back plays it back to Edgar can he whip

One in he’s closed down but he can get past one man past two put ball in the Box it’s just hit the side netting goalkeeper commanding his uh commanding his defense there I tell you he wouldn’t have to do that if Harry chizy chisnell was on the

Pitch it’s been a competitive game so far neither team really look too dominating it’s a ball floated up I think it’s such an uh such an equal game and I tell you what big big shout big shout out to ucfb um because you know obviously every game is a war and you

Want to win but you know they’re they they’re media people on the side they they players and managers all very friendly very nice people they were we had a few camera troubles and they have actually kindly loaned us an SD card so we can uh get this game ahead to youwise

Play a lot of goals last week but there is something about a competitive game with two two strong teams playing up against each other but I tell you what they’ll really really want to win today um that that Clash at the top of the table with John Moos is really really

Close and as we alluded to earlier I can’t wait for the last game of the season where those two teams play yeah they do want to you know they don’t want to give anything away going in as with as many points as possible and I suppose as many goals you know goal difference

Is important so last week will be a great uh great boost for that L manages to clear it only for a ucfb throwing uh tell I tell you what though if uh if sford win today it’s going to be a wild one at Hot Mess later so take me out tonight I believe

Isn’t it uh yeah in the uh in the sford Student Union no like care to fil there and it’s a great clearance I don’t believe paty mcginness is making it today for the uh Salford take me out and fortunately no no but he is he’s not far

Away in Bolton no he’s he’s not not too far away from his hometown of course yeah he’s never nice to hear but he broke up with his wife recently Ollie what do you make of that never i’ not heard that you know I can’t really comment on that you’ve clearly not been

Keeping up with the sun Snapchat stories I haven’t I have to say I definitely haven’t get a life o um number five over to Le on can’t quite bring down but it does play out to number six now there’s there’s no not been any like clear-cut

Chances I would say so far for either team no um I think ucfb have had it down that line if a bit more they’ve got their way in I guess there is that chance on the on the left hand side s Edgar brought into the box brilliantly it was

A bit of a tame shot into the side netting never really looked to trouble to keep at his near post ref for a foul that’s a harsh one it’s a little bit soft uh we saw some soft referee in last week you know some refs just have their Styles I

Suppose yeah the the the uh the sford first game last week um I was watching the referee gave a lot of soft soft fouls I don’t think he’s been too bad so far but you know you want to see the game Flow in don’t you OE yeah

Definitely you know we want to see what these teams can do we don’t want to have to have them uh subdued by constant stoppages and in that game you referenced there was a absolutely massive additional time there was I think there was a good 50 minutes played past the 90 um which was

Frustrating uh I think for players and anos and everyone really sford need to shore up at the back here has he got a long throw do he know he does oh I don’t know if I’d call that long leis I would say that’s massive OE that’s a massive massive throw azed

Probably above UK average I would say always professional though here at Salford sport TV of course of course a lot of fans turned out today actually yeah yeah you’re right I noticed that until you mentioned but yeah we do have a lot of uh fans over in

That um down that uh that touch line there um I guess we’ll have to see who for soul for would be the obvious bet but in that uh first game last week there was a fair ucfb fans that made the trip yeah ucfb on Manchester based

Aren’t they yeah it’s not not too far away for him um you know a lot of a lot of the lads and LS want to come down and support their mates playing big up big up to them football is nothing without the fans absolutely I could agree

More yeah I tell you what sford going to want to look to try and make some more attacks happen here it’s just ref’s a foul but that was a good play from UFC to B win the ball there and play it across it was well blocked i’ I’d argue that ucfb have probably

Been the better of the two sides but it’s very marginal yeah they’ve just looked sharper I think sford haven’t looked poor all they’ve you know been solid defensively but they’ve just lacked a little bit in that Midfield and going forward but you know that can all change it’s definitely not um a

Dominative performance from anyone hands all over him there I mean it’s harsh to call that a foul especially in the penalty area but the ref’s got to keep an eye on that he does yeah he does Matt Lun takes it round very well and he plays a ball over to Edgar who

Just creeps offside by the looks of it he’s he’s a great player Lun isn’t he at the back very very commanding presence he is him and holding at the back are a um excellent partnership definitely absolutely absolutely it’s it interesting actually we do have linesmen today that is often

Something that the the refs neglect they don’t usually bother but um we do have some today so hopefully some of the offside calls you know might be more accurate the poor Lads you never want to be the one that has to run the line D I’d always just refuse it’s that that

Classic um old adage you know someone tells you to go and go I’m rubbish in goal don’t put me in goal that’s what I would say I am horrendous at running the line you do not want me ref um but someone’s got to do it they do indeed I’ve never been asked

Myself we’ve got a another ball coming over just played in by the software bench but they seem to have retrieved the other one so it’s just going to get kicked out now if in out kick it out that works for football and racism Harry not not Harry no AB absolutely right thank you

Leis yeah hand ball ref has given hand ball that is I’ve got to say that’s good to see you do see a lot of hand balls go in lower lower level and I’d say lower league football you know even in professional you see a lot of little

Hand ball shouts not given so it’s nice of the ref there just to penalize that it was it was a disruption to the play like I say I wouldn’t know I I support a Premier League team Sheffield United well some people have to say loyal no

Matter how bad they are as do I as a York City supporter um yeah I wouldn’t say we’ve had that much Glory this season as a Sheffield United fan no certainly not but as you point out still a Premier League team still a Premier League team but I tell you what Salford

Uh Salford seconds are doing much better than the blades this season second in the division they’ve got a win today though that it must be a lot of pressure for the players and um you feel they’re not playing with with as much Freedom as they were in the last game it feels

Quite tense no I mean they’ve got a stronger opposition today AB um but yeah maybe we will see the pressure they it would it is very important to win this today I can’t lie though I feel like the um the the late kickoff has affected both teams

That argue yeah it just gives you an extra time of hanging around no one really wants that you know you get yourself in the game mindset and then you’re there for another half an hour um it doesn’t help anyone now le find the pass he looks to cut in he does

Well the ball well done there it’s back to number four Danny holding plays it out to Edgar on the left he’s looked pretty good as Edgar he’s had a good game so far just lacking that Cutting Edge but uh perhaps he’ll find it is that Will Robinson

There puts a ball into the box that’s a very very good ball oh oh it’s an excellent header I think it’s cold as an offside um the bench to the left ofers are absolutely fuming with the referee there they are indeed ref just just just warns them but that that was an

Excellent ball there um it was really well put in the Box by will rob and then Ryan Kumba gets his head on it and he’s just looked inches out um say that’s the best chance of the game so far perhaps a little bit against a runner play but uh

S have settled into the game well he need he needs to be better with his head there as as Charlie the commentator says you can’t give head like that very professional that was that was four from number two there can he get rid he does he recovers well there we go striker

That’s a man that can do both olle Spencer yeah is my signature that my Sunday league acum in there sh hope Tom got that on camera when your girlfriend comes to watch you do commentary absolutely mate Ed finds his way through pull back a little bit going oh it is cut out they

Did get the men back there did ucfb quality head from you OE Spencer not the first time you’ve been told that I’m sure well thank you thank you very professional as we say watch TV blood lights are on I think it’s going to get quite dark quite soon actually

And no you’re right I am very good at winning headers yeah the uh the sord bench aren’t happy with the referee and uh he’s you know I’m not happy with the referee cuz he made me stand around in the cold well I I don’t necessarily think he’s had too

Power of a performance perhaps a little bit soft but um need to stay consistent get control of the game sford getting a bit better though now creating more chances is what we like to see down the line to Lee scre screams have run at him bro Echo around the uh that’s really nice

There into the box from number 10 just gets away from that’s great turn from number three there yeah Rowan in there using his strength and into katumba but the keeper shephards it out that’ll be a goal kick it was a really nice turn there from Ethan kley as well the number 10 to

Get that uh chance there um just skewed the pass a little bit I think he was looking for Robinson in the middle who scored a lovely longrange effort last week so that’s always a threat to look out for hopefully uh the sford players don’t make the ucfb goalkeeper angry cuz from

Where I’m standing he looks exactly like the Incredible Hulk he does have a uh a green kit on your right yeah we don’t want to see him ripping out of that he don’t look very tall though no he doesn’t but um it’s not always a must for Keepers you know if they’re agile

Dible he has commanded his box really well so far i’ got to say we’ll find out if uh if this short King finishes on top in this game but sford will be hoping to crush his dream well won by can they get a shot off here they can’t ucfb defended quite well and

That’s that’s great feat from the number six it is yeah he just Dodges the challenge but then commentator’s curse there as he misplaces the pass and it is won by Gan sford really finding their feet in this game now I think yeah it’s safe to say last five minutes he just

Not taking on anyone there to he does really well and Le pinches it off him to put it into edka but it is cut out you you want to see Le running it Defenders more I feel if you’re if you’re the sford um coaching stuff yeah he’s cut in he’s cut in

Nicely a few times but he’s left a little bit to be desired Lun wins that well who’s closed down and he just gets to get away from sloppy can they make anything from it it’s a really nice little flick on and palpa recovers his earlier mistake and

Diving in but like I say lun avoids it very well it’s like watching Brazil at the moment oi yeah we’ve seen some lovely football sford have just been sheering the ball ucfb have been unable to get a hold of it and again there commentator’s curse it’s given straight

Away and the ball is pinged over but holding heads it back out to the Midfield Robinson looks to run into space plays it out to that is number six which is Alfie Wright a player that didn’t um play last week a fun fact for all you uh F lovers at home there’s

Actually an Arsenal Defender who goes by the same name as uh as one of the sford players well same second name at least can they get a goal here that would be holding holding yeah thank you Lewis Rob holding thank you leis excellent observation he’s uh someone’s down for ucfb

Here who do you think’s going to win afcon this year ear oh I mean I personally I’m supporting the Democratic Republic of Congo they’ve been my team from the start um my brother got them in a sweep steak I believe he did uh he did one

With his mates so he had two teams he got them in Tanzania both in the same group actually and Tanzania uh a very poor footballing Nation it must you say but they gave themselves a really good account I believe they got a draw with Morocco who obviously been knocked out

Now but they were favorites Democratic Republic of the Congo neither a republic or Democratic hulks on the ball here and he gives it back to one of the ucfb Defenders that’s a long ball a right just can’t bring it down just couldn’t make it count there number six

Can he win the ball back though he’s battling he does slow the number 10 down but he plays it out wide to the fullback who drives towards the Box football from ucfb here but can edar win the ball he can Danny his shows his leadership skills there and wins the ball cley

Plays out nice Ed from number 10 Le’s he’s not shouting though ucfb win it back andley well W pinches it back off it’s all it’s all very congested the the game at the moment it’s all it is we haven’t seen either team really be able to show any magic they’ve not really given

Enough space but I guess that’s that’s credit to both tries to win it back and that’s great football from L there there he pinches it now very tenacious very tenacious he just goes wide and he takes him on he takes him on O Still Still nil nil at this stage of the game L heads it out shephered out and that is number seven actually that is a wrong decision from the referee I have to say it was number seven who played it through the legs of palpar In fairness the ref can’t have

Seen that but that was that was a sulfured uh throne for sure no yeah you can’t you can’t expect the ref to make all those calls correctly and he is just coming anding off the bench now they have been very vocal he’s getting a little bit aggro

Here well the the ref does have to establish himself you know he can’t have abuse all game from the bench he perhaps has made a few poor decisions but um and he was 40 minutes late let’s not forget this is that the fourth time you’ve mentioned that I think and I will

Mention it again cuz I’ve been cold um well yeah 40 minutes from number 10 40 minutes towards the end of the game we will be thinking we could be home right now as with all the players I’m coming home sford seconds they pass it back to uh The

Incredible Hulk who looks to pass it back out to one of their uh their Defenders sporting a mullet at the back there somewhat of a mullet yeah what’s your opinion on a mullet leis I don’t mind it you know I had a mullet for a little bit it wasn’t it wasn’t a good

One um I’m thinking I might get I might do a little taper fade on the side little cheeky mullet what if Louis speed had a tape of fade um no I’ve been interested in the mullet for some time I’ve never really bothered going for it do it Ollie do it potentially

Potentially maybe for summer can number six win the ball he can he can’t not quite not quite but the ball played up is just go straight to the keeper so sford sort of seeping their way into this game now and um but they’ve got to make it count by getting

A goal here they do yeah they they’ve controlled the Midfield a lot better now which is what we saw from him last week um but it’s played up to Ryan now Kuma looks to get it into the box he can as far as kley can they a shot o and the

Keeper covers look like it could have just crept in but the keeper uh did Cover the keep the keeper doesn’t want to end up with football pile over his shirt it’s it was a save you’d expect him to make that’s played down to Le again just missing that coverage with the bench in

The way oh cleared half clearance there from the ucfb player but oh and the but Captain number four has covered oh does he O The Ref the ref should really call there have got to be careful there you CFB bench absolutely loving that I do think the ref should be

Calling there I mean you do have to give goalkeepers a lot of um lot of leeway but the the attacker the number 11 it didn’t look like he really got the ball I’m not sure I think it was cleared and it was a bit of a Ricochet but he did

Wipe Out the keeper there and do sford have a keeper on the bench I don’t think so if there’s an injury there then we might have to see get Harry chisel in there get Harry chisel in there he’ll do a job he is a bit of a big lad he’s got

Some size on him so perhaps he can uh reach them Corners Keepers up now though ref makes sure he’s okay yeah this this this ref isn’t taking anything from the bench is he no I think he he might even be um stubborn now you know you see do see that a lot

From referees at lower level three words small man syndrome Oly Spencer potentially but uh you do get a lot of referees especially when they’re given grief they can turn quite that is challeng that’s got to be that’s got to be a yellow card there I think that was

A terrible foul I mean he I think he did win the ball but he went diving in with two feet it’s very danger got the man first and when you go with two feet I think that’s got to be a yellow card yeah potentially I could see him carding

Him here you definitely could do uh he’s having a word at least that he might just get away I the thing is guys we literally couldn’t know no that that is really bad that was a really bad challenge it is a terrible challenge I mean he he did literally

Dive in with two feet a yellow card I think that is fair you know it’s one of those where some might say he’s won the ball uh some might say he’s taking the man first but what he certainly has done is jumped into that tackle which is extremely dangerous and the ref just

Wants to book him to ensure that that doesn’t happen again we don’t have V here at p park but I’d be intrigued to see what would happen if that went to V whether that would have been a red card or well perhaps it was picked up on the camera

Pushed back but they’ve still got the ball back to Danny holding now it’s a bit of a poor pass out that’s important for sua to keep the ball that’s what you want yeah now they can you know take some time and push up again as they do

Pal plays into Le he’s breached into the box and it’s a goal he’s got a foot like a TR action engine EDG go who’s probably been the best player up front so far has scored a goal he’s been fantastic that and that is incredible play from the two down the

Right there pow par plays it into Le who dances his way into the box it looks like he puts a Pall it looks like he was going for kumber in the middle there who he missed but Edgar is floating at the back post managed go deserved goal well well play

From the whole team there I think as we uh as we push further through to the first into the first half sord have look the better side now ucfb had a had a very promising start but they’ve just sort of uh slipped off as you would

Say slip and slide the eye of your mind don’t you know go around somewhere yeah it’s certain a was so it’s intercepted well sord hopefully just sort of keep the composure don’t let it get played into Le he’s through again can can Le score here can he score oh that
