To put Lion’s e-bike and both our legs to the test, we took to the Mangart Pass in the Slovenian Alps. What an absolutely amazing climb this is, so steep, but also so beautiful!

Realy beautiful Video again! Thank you very much!
You can be grateful and happy, that your girlfried is doing this with you (only her gray socks are not my taste) 😉

Very good video brow
Thanks for sharing this with all of us. You two are too cute.
Great video production. Couldn't agree more with what was said.
Must get this bike for my wife…. #problemsolved#
really enjoyed this.
What a great video, and cool tunes as always. Make sure Cube give you a smaller bike next time for Lion. This bars are so wide for her!
sick
Great production, a lot of thought gone into shots thanks for the insight. All the very best Andy
Could you please make a video about your wahoo element bolt and show us all the sensors you are using… would be very interessting
With content like this your channel is going to grow and grow.
Hi, can you recommend any fixed crit for amateurs in Netherlands?
I recently moved here, want to try something new and see how competitive I am.
Thank you
Awesome video. What AMAZING scenery! What base layer shirt and jersey are you wearing?
Those prebuilt e-bikes are a waste of money. That 250w motor only negates the weight of the battery and the motor itself. You are better of with a carbon bike than that overweight underpowered e-bike.
Complains about the heat – wears a jacket…
Hey does the help of electric motor compensates the extra weight on the frame? Loved the video!
That was splendid…
them views, them tunes!
Great video! Guys like you keep us motivated 🙂
does the ebike recharge on the descents?
I love these videos, surprised this dude doesn't have more subscribers!!!!!
Climbed the mangart road 10 years ago…no ebikes then….my legs still hurt.
Ah Martijn ,you are seriously a wonderful film maker . Wonderful location , wonderful shots, wonderful commentary. Thanks for sharing .
2:31 wow…
nice video, but music very bad !
Prachtige video weer!
You're obviously gonna be hungry after that climb Bro, but maybe film your talk to camera after you've finished your sandwich.
8:00 scam business in plain sight.
e bike for sports are an idiots game. cheating has become the name of the game, worse than steriods and epo
i am slovenian and i climb on Mangart road few times on my allmoutain and freeride 18kg bike , last km is a little hard but scenery is realy nice , iam glad you enjoy …
This has quickly become my favorite cycling channel on YT. I really don't get how you only have 18k subscribers. Please, don't stop producing new content. Do you have Patreon, or something of the sort? I understand that these videos take time and resources to produce. I like that I can enjoy it for free but I'm eager to contribute. Good job, Martijn.
"I am suffering" as you can see she clearly is not. Well, she is cute anyway. She could least get acting lessons. Just kidding. Now I am suffering. 🙂
What is the height of Lion? What is the size of Lion's bike?
Gave video in elkaar gezet mannen!!! Respect 🤘🏻 toch gaaf dat je vriendin mee gaat op dit soort tochten. En viel het haar mee achteraf gezien met de e bike?
Ouah la descente les freins ont chauffer !
In enduro they are already the present
Hey pal , I am looking into buying this bike , I am 115kg and 6ft ! How is the motor assist ?? Hope you can help
Amazing! Brava Leon, Bravo Martijn !
Hills hurt, couches kill ! 😉
Glad you liked it. Next time do the loop. Start in Kranjska gora, cross Vršič pass, go down to Trenta valley and then toward Mangart pass. After descent (up to bridge) turn right, go to Italy (Tarvisio) and do the loop via tarmac cycling path (ex railway road) to Kranjska gora. It gets arround 2.900 m of climbing and 110 km of riding. Spoiler alert: On north side of Vršič pass you have really badass scenery of steep mountains.
Try it next time. Highly recomended! All the best and safe rides to all of you.
ebikes are the future for the old peoples and the office plankton from the city …
