Hello my name is cinda and today i’m going to be hopping on my bike for my second ride of the channel to go 10 miles west to a small town called malta let’s get on my bike and do this So the weather is pretty nice today it’s about 69 degrees all right this week is up in the 80s so this is a really pleasant nice change it’s also pretty windy say we got a 20-25 mile per hour wind coming from the northwest it should make cycling to the west a little

Well difficult the direction i want to go the road i want to take is right here and it should take me west to this cool small town that i want to go check out here we go and to the west we go The wind’s literally pushing me across the road it’s quite something i gotta get stronger but this wind is still strong making no progress i’ve been pedaling for like 10 minutes oh my god like like less than half the distance i normally do a non-windy day Wait about two miles down the road ultra cool the wind is just as strong there’s been some birds on the side of the road they’ve been trying to like go against the wind they’ve literally just been uh making no movement at all up here is the river that goes through my town

It’s really kind of cool but it’s further downstream so it’s much smaller there’s also mega celery tower right here wow let’s continue on the road then Now look at that i was actually about to go on though all right it’s going to go directly this way here but look at those old barns i suppose i should go check him out Now i don’t want to get too close because it is someone’s property we’re just looking at them they’re really cool I think we’re gonna get turned back around it’s so easy to pedal it’s like you’re just gliding it feels like i’m flying and this reminds me of this one day i was cycling about a month ago and we had winds uh 30 to 35 miles per hour and gusts like 45 and above

And the wind was coming from the south it’s on this bike trail i could swear i was going probably like 40 miles per hour on my bike it was really quite something there’s a road i’m looking for it’s called university road it’s going to cycle until i see it so

Continue oh and it’s windy Well currently biking down to university road and it doesn’t have the biggest shoulder so i definitely have to be much more attentive on this road here i’m going to be coming up on the interstate soon i’m gonna go across there and we’ll be pretty much at the town

Oh the road’s getting a little bumpy right here but there’s the interstate crossing ahead so we’re crossing the interstate now it’s all to be attentive as it’s narrow and i’ll have traffic behind me that won’t be able to see me so i’ll just have to be very attentive oh here we go

This is definitely a monster of a hill and whoa it’s ultra windy up here look at that oh my god this is sure difficult i had an amazing view down there really cool a little terrifying though how windy it was up there Wow it’s lovely let’s go to the park You may i made it to the park in downtown malta malta has a lot of cool buildings in its downtown center centered right on a railroad real nice charm to it it really feels like a really nice small town this park is also really nice and i’m actually kind of really enjoying

Chilling here probably going to stay here for a couple of uh about 30 minutes eat my lunch and then head on back home should be easier to head on back home since they don’t have a big old headwind against me so it should be good i’m going to go ahead

And eat my lunch for my lunch i got myself some mac and cheese which would be pretty cool show it off a little bit wash the steam ah it’s still hot use the thermos to keep my food hot the only way to go oh eating some of my mac and cheese right here

There’s nothing like a hot lunch after a long cycle awesome oh my god I had a good time chilling here i think we’re going to go head on back home I’m taking my route across the interstate on a different path i have to go against the wind a little bit longer there’s the other interstate bridge now look at this vista here it’s gorgeous This road is much better than the other road i was going on before when crossing the interstate the other one was really sketchy this one has like barely any traffic it’s definitely going to be the road i take again if i’m going to be crossing the interstate around here

Here we go it’s time to go over that bridge i’ll have to use caution again because it’s probably going to be real windy up here you’re shifting to a lower gear on my bike and help climb the hill there you go look at that here we go up the hill

It’s going to be a great downhill once i’m going down so we should be just the roading or to turn off the head back home here we go look at that that’s really cool oh now beautiful downhill oh we get some mega speed oh yeah oh this is so much fun oh yeah

Oh got the biggest smile on my face this is just great well then just gonna go ahead and enjoy it i’ll check back in once to get back on the road i’m going to use the head back home Oh that road i was just on was a mega joy it had such a nice shoulder there were no cars to be seen it was ultra smooth that’s one of the best cycle i’ve had in a while truly great right now i’m back on the road that’s going to take me home

About three or five miles out from home it shouldn’t be too bad to make it back We’ve reached university road again Now we just have to go down this and we’ll be back home made it back to the red barn meaning i’ve just made about back home this ride had a lot of ups and downs it was very challenging at the beginning later on when i had that tailwind

Helping me it was pretty much just smooth sailing and i was really able to just soak in all that scenery and really chillax should be about two or three miles to get home and at that point it’ll be all cool Whew that was a really long bike ride it was very enjoyable and also challenging at some points yeah especially at the real beginning it was like really hard with the headwind i had but then it was easier on the way back with the tailwind and of course i messed up a little bit

On the route i took but it still made it interesting it was still a really cool adventure well that’s about it for me if you enjoyed the video and you want to see more adventures as i go on them hit that subscribe button smash it punch it squish it however it is

So yeah thank you for watching the video and have a good rest of your day you

  1. Hopefully you guys enjoyed my second adventure of the channel! I'm currently experimenting with different video structures. Did you guys like the addition of subtitles? Let me know down in the comments!

  2. I watch and like your videos. You might try a chest harness, the viewers of my trek bike videos told me that they like my videos with my harness better than without (because it shows the handlebars and gives a point of reference to the audience) the only downside is that its always facing forward, so I cant point my head towards something that I think is cool to record it. Anyways, nice work, have fun
