Treck checkpoint ALR4 vs Canyon CF SL6 ACS

Canyon apparently has better specs for the sale price (carbon body and electronic shift). And the Checkpoint is alluminium and mechanic shift.

Why the difference? Which one would you choose?

  1. Ive ridden a checkpoint and a grizl which were similar spec tires and groupset but not these exact specs. Grizl felt stiffer and more responsive.

For that reason and for the carbon frame + electronic shifting its a no brainer for me and id take the grizl.

The difference youre questioning would be because canyon ship direct to consumer which saves a bit of money. Rather than occupying space and storage in a physical store which is more costly.

I understand this is the trek sub though and i may get downvoted.
