Belgium Luxembourg Netherlands – chips and chocolate!

Week let me guide you through our tour of Europe we’re going to head over to Brugge in Belgium then we’re going to sample some beers have a look at some tasty food then we’re going to go down and Sample the wees down in Luxembourg somewhere that never fancied going

Before but the weather looked nice in that area and it was pretty stormy further up North so we headed down to Luxembourg all the public transports free in Luxembourg so we took advantage of that took a a campsite in the north as you’ll see and then took a train into

Luxembourg City Center then we jumped back in the van following the weather again and headed up north to the Netherlands and what an amazing place that is let’s have a look at the video [Applause] Now So on this trip we dived on to the euro tunnel because it’s such a fast and easy way to get across that sea and it was 358 that was in the midt 2023 it’s a 30 minute Journey straightforward drive on Park sit in your van and then you drive

Off on the other end at the other end we dived onto the a16 motorway which takes you past Dunkirk straight into to brouge simples This is the only campsite we’ve booked on this trip the rest of the trip we’ve not planned or booked anything H This video is going to be a funny angle because that is how we’re feeling after two of these Belgian beers that we just had didn’t you have two Belgian beers real you had two Belgian beers and look at the state of you real look at you

We went to an all you can eat uh sorry all you can eat ribs place pedestrian street that’s maybe not so pedestrian okay warning it’s a bit noisy oh you can eat ribs please which was absolutely awesome by the way I’m going to put the

The name of the place on the screen just now because that was brilliant if you like a German Curry verst these ribs are done in a in a kind of sauce like that aren’t they they’re kind of like a curry sauce type B I don’t know you don’t know

What you what you tried them they were awesome they were really Good A and so the next morning we woke up with slightly fuzzy heads but given it was a short trip got straight back on It great s just down the road from camping Ming is her Manus and they do the best burger the best burger I’ve ever had that’s se’s chicken burger it’s Awesome you have to come here absolutely awesome so that’s the end of brouge absolutely fantastic place we really enjoyed it um we’ve packed up and left camping Ming just uh for info you turn right out of the gates camping memling it takes you to a a road Junction the

Favorite stuff in there anyway doesn’t open on a Sunday so we’ve landed a bit stuck um so we’re having to raid the cupboards and see what we’ve got in the van and today we’re on our way to Luxembourg uh so we’ve never been to Luxembourg before so we’re going to make

Our way um East along to Luxemburg we’re heading to the north of the country but in Luxembourg public transport is completely free and apparently there’s a train station in the village uh at the campsite we’re going to which I’ll show you when we get there um so we’re

Staying there for a couple of days sorry I’m just removing lots of leaves out of the van drill uh we’re going to um hopefully get a train and head down to Luxembourg City never been there either so uh yeah that sounds like a a plan we have also been speaking to

Some people and got some other plans for trips in the Netherlands which look awesome uh but due to weather we’ve decided to to head to Luxembourg which is a little bit sunnier so let’s get on the road Luxembourg is last grand country of the world Luxembourg has three official languages luxembourg’s

Cuisine is a mix of French and German Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries in the world and Luxembourg is home to a number of Vineyards one thing we noticed on this trip was the load surface was awful as you went down towards Luxembourg but check this out look at the Blue SC

Coming up and look at the L on the road this is Luxembourg that’s us in Luxembourg bang look at the road surface smooth there wasn’t a single poth hole in a whole Luxembourg it’s Unbelievable so after a bit of a journey we have arrived in Luxembourg check this out it’s beautiful river right next to us there’s ducks going up and down on patrol um the campsite is beautiful uh we’re pitched set up there’s individual Beach Hedges all the way along separating out

Giving you privacy and it is absolutely stunning so we seem to be in a bit of a valley here you can see just down river there So the plan is uh it’s quite late it’s about 6:00 so we’re just cooking up some sausage pasta and then uh we might have

A we explore about just by foot I’m not going to take the bikes off tonight I can’t be bothered certainly going to have a few beers b a few beers on the way in here um and then tomorrow morning jump on a train and go into Luxembourg

Spanish bar yesterday and a plate of Olives was €9 a 250 mil beer a tiny tiny beer how much was that again6 each um a bottle of water a tiny 250 mil bottle of water was what3 or 4 or something so the prices are eyew watering however it is very pretty but I

We could take a photo absolutely brilliant the kids are buzzing absolutely buzzing so I’m going to stick the name of the place on the screen just now obviously highly recommended especially if you’ve got young kids but even if you haven’t I mean look at this beautiful peaceful

Site we’re slightly out of season in September uh so it is a bit quieter but there’s miles of cycle routes around here miles of walking there’s loads of things to do and see around here Adventure centers cycle routes walking routes miles of forest it’s brilliant so wish we could stay a bit longer Oh look at the [Applause] Chocol me So what’s cool about this cycle route is it’s only for bikes the walking rout is over that way so there’s just miles and miles miles and miles of cycling paths and it’s brilliant it’s all Offroad in the forest you can go for hours absolutely fantastic I’m loving It last Pub in the Netherlands before you hit Belgium And there’s chickens wandering about in the P there is no video that does this place Justice this is absolutely incredible this is a toilet in the restaurant it’s brilliant it’s totally themed fantastic Awesome oh no We [Applause] Can’t I’ll be right Here going be looking behind me every two seconds just check out this bus getting on to the euro tunnel by the way I’ve just uh come on to do a bit of finish finishing up editing here and I was just blown away we did a bit of

Cool places to explore in the Netherlands Luxemburg was okay for me coming from edinb it was very much like the center of edra so there was nothing new for me to see there in reality it was very similar the rest of it Belgium I can’t wait to go back chips chocolate
