Abandoned things museums all of that sort of good stuff you do like some abandoned infrastructure don’t you I do like some abandoned infrastructure now some of you will know us from our narrow boo Channel narrow Escape but for those of you that don’t here’s uh well here’s

A few things or a few teasers of what you can expect from this new channel you need to get on what’s making that noise cuz it sounds like you’re having a we yeah sorry it’s not me my angel has brought a Broly why why have you brought a Broly dear because I don’t

Cuz I don’t want tunnel jues on my head we’re not getting up there are we no not really Mary Poppins is here again come on Princes got ugies on or what of those boots called it’s in quite a few sort of Terrace House back Alleyways but

Um feels historic if that’s not a stupid thing to say what are these do you reckon you are joking aren’t you is that for the old hat where the old hatch was you mean honestly she doesn’t listen to a thing I say I mean hopefully I’ll be able to Overlay the

Old picture on what’s here today but yeah how super cool is this so well you’ll see it’s very popular with Walkers and Doggs is that a thing dog walkers dog walkers there you go thank you did yeah I mean gosh to think what it was then and today it’s an analdi

Supermarket and a pound stretcher is uh it’s mindblowing really if you’re wondering where Sue is by the way haven’t lost her well sort of have but I’ve lost lost her to the fabric shop just sort of came in for a look anyone that does knitting and

Crochet knows you can’t just come into a shop like this for a look how cool would it be though to actually like see this working actually working yeah started working the 1860s 1860s all right we’re going in people oh wow it smells amazing there’s your table all done

Table Yeah but that can’t belong to the house as well you wouldn’t want that would you you wouldn’t want that no oh yes look at that I thought you might get excited Merced a Merc One 90e the uh the most um absorbent that’s a that’s a that’s a cloth isn’t it

Absorbent what’s the thing where you see stuff observant observant oh look at that that’s gorgeous the old reading room you could wear one you know like a little fig Leaf thing I Adam and Eve and all that yeah so I thought we could need the whole whole

Bush these are four old workers Cottages which have been each one represents a different time period ranging from the 1830s to the 1950s so these represent bikes as well or I don’t know well they are just our bikes AR they not represent it was like a hook that somehow you hooked

Through the hessan and pulled it through made up his mind to attack whatever happen and although he now says he put forward reasonable proposals so there’s some stories uh some stories here of people who used to work here in the mines this is uh one of John savel 7-year-old coler’s boy I

Stand and open and shut the door I’m generally in the dark and sit me down against the door For Oh wow it’s like check that out oh my word it’s a proper little workshop in there you’ve got then oh yes how nice is this this is a nice place to live if you’re a goose H look at the state of this so what have you chosen my angel

For lunch I have a New York deli sandwich which is a bit of a treat isn’t it but it is your birthday with cream Mayo from Boos from lovely boos look it comes out in a cute little tray delicious oh a delicious beer not for me you’ve gone for a hom hobgoblin Session

IPA dear me oh it’s nice here birds are going bonkers see quite a lot of it around these parts don’t we I found a coner found a coner yay so what we’re looking at here very clearly is the 1908 structure that shrouds the original lift itself right

Here we go the 1908 controls or the Machinery should I say it’s wonderful oh wow how much do these B boys weigh then this one about 5 tons the smaller ones two uh 2 and 1 half to three tons we don’t actually know how they manag to get these things Here

    2. Thanks for your reply we love to watch you and your adventures not getting out much now it makes a big difference to share your adventures good luck and tcx now luv from the oldies 👍👍🤗🤗🌟🌟

    3. I've got two channels so I subscribed with both and watched/liked on both too. I completely understand where you're coming from. I did two videos a week for a year on my channel. It's not great content like yours but I only had a few hundred subscribers after all of that work. Not that that really mattered, I'd have still done it with only my mom watching.🤪 I did it just after the local Covid 19 travel restrictions lifted. I basically did it to keep a travel record for myself, my family and anyone shut in who just wanted to hit the road for a drive. Things change so often here in British Columbia. I've stopped (temporarily) for health reasons.
There are so many other narrow boat related channels it's tough to be heard. I've probably watched most of the others but yours is really my favourite. By quite a bit actually. Because of the style and your personalities basically. Some of the other channels are done by people I wouldn't choose to hang around with. You also haven't done sponsored videos for cheap Chinese junk; so you also get bonus points. As they say the cream will rise to the top. Your channel will only grow with the more eyes who see it. If you continue to do what you're doing it will pay off. That's a safe bet. It's really good.

    4. Hello guys, like the 'new channel'. Now that we've watched this episode, you might call this channel, 'Exploring Off the Towpath, we couldn't help ourselves. Looks like Sue has found an acrylic heaven, aka yarn shop. What will you knit/crochet next, Sue? We must say we do like the photo comparisons of then & now. We've seen this on other channels and it's very effective. Take care, good luck and be well.

    5. Good luck, I thought I'd subscribed to your channel already as i think I've watched you from the start. Anyway I've just liked and subscribed to both channels. Hopefully we should be getting our own narrowboat later this year! Thanks and keep going!

    6. Hi from NZ. Love the concept of this new channel, your expeditions off the cut are so informative. We have binged on your travels on Josh since we found the channel and look forward to each new episode. Take care and no more tumbles Sue.

    7. I've always wanted to come over there, from US, but I probably won't ever make it so you guys are giving me just what I'm looking for. I found from watching "Narrow escape" just how beautiful rural England is from the canal. Cheers!

    8. I hope this is a game changer for you. I have some ideas that I. Can share. I always wanted to know others peoples boats and stories about what fueled their life enough to live on a narrowboat. Inside the life boats. The ancient tunnels are interesting. Architecture is huge to me especially because this country is a baby in comparison and we don't have any ancient places. So good luck.maybe I'll do patreon too on here as well if you get enough videos out. It's a shame people watch everything and don't feel some sort of obligation to help.

    9. Liking the new channel as I always liked your exploring videos on Narrow Escape and you two are such fun. The reading room at Withnell Fold was featured on Escape to the Country a few weeks ago on a celebrity special with Jenny Ryan aka The Vixen from The Chase. She didn't buy it in the end. Good luck with the new channel
