So Riders on the way onto the plank first look at this nobody choosing to Bunny Hop the planks here it is a really sloppy mess on the way through in practice we saw Riders on here then making the way up on to the climb and already well first attempt of first

Rider to take that is our Austrian so a great ride to go over the top there you can see the advantage the Austrian choosing to go over the top and the Slovakian Rider as well this is going to be very interesting now I’m sure black

Yep off and going to hurdle here so our Slovakian choosing to hop the hurdles that was Tobias hosi as well as our Rider from the other races so it’s looking good at the moment let’s see how they’re going very interesting to see the different tactics here to get over

These PLS over the hills it’s uphill it’s very difficult but this has brought the pack back together once again the race for first and second between Poland and Italy at the moment K still leading this out behind the chase is on Funston lead the chasing Trio and you can see

The vandero has the Landis for company as well as they make the way down towards the head of this section of course at the moment the Riders having been Racing for what is now 7 minutes and 9 seconds so we’re on the lap one of

Six the first lap is on its way let’s see who will be able to stay in contion who is going to be able to close the gaps down now behind it looks like Austria Che here losing 18 and 19 seconds respectively as you can see on your screen see biggest Los at the

Moment is Great Britain but this could be a game because remember that they have got clear as will their tactics pay off little stall by at the moment they R get tangled again and definitely not having a clear R and this is where actually pay out you see how greasy is

Another slip another slide here this is Austria who are on the way Through so Landes making it up in company we’ve got theor just with Bon at the back but L Landis a great move to come across the Gap here making his way around that tight left hand turn he moves into the race lead at this stage so the Frenchman

Makes a move up here Landis one of our really strong Riders fourth overall in the UCA under 3 World Cup and L Landis a second place a podium in the hogah hi around a second place at the TW round of the UCI World Cup it was right up there

He had one or two bad R but was only just off the podium so it could be very interested to see if he can now maintain that pace has had a disastrous start for him on the way through could get clipped in now starting to pick up the pace you

See on the way down here over the bridge is incredibly tricky to keep it rubers side down as it come through that descent and that transition across is not easy at all and the mud is breaking the ice is breaking up we are starting to see one or two ruts

Formed the rest of the Riders are holding in the P now the Riders have to come to a stop and touch their teammate they can’t do a flying pass if they fail to touch or they do a flying pass go around and then stop alongside and then

Do a Handover so let’s see if the commes are going to let that go I think they are going to let to go with a flying pass he could be very interested if that’s going to be the case all teams doing this now who is left waiting we have Jack

Your waiting at the moment we have the team from Canada just doing the hand over to their second Rider here it’s going to be a hand over for the Slovakia and Austria the next Riders to come in so they do the Handover almost simultaneously the Gap at the moment 18

To 24 seconds man on the barrier that is Corin Carrick Anderson the to the 23 GB title five of the GB runers are national champions so the runers whove just raced are held ins side of the course the new teammates out on the course now the

Makeup at the moment on our long time splits going through was France leading this out but you can see the time splits they are not big between the top five teams less 10 seconds separating them as they come over the big Bridges these are absolute monsters a height about 5 m

High to the summit of the bridges here as they come along this ditch at the bottom this is a very tricky SE in previous editions of the men’s races here we’ve actually seen what out go flying sideways take it out rers like VOR on that section is not at all easy

To keep clear of the water that falls in the bottom of that dra ditch a little bit further back you can see that we now have the Riders of the United States and Belgium chasing the three leaders who are coming back together so France Poland Italy Belgium United States the

Top five of the sixth place team at the moment is Canada and that g 20 seconds be very interesting to see a walk their second Rider out that is their men’s Junior Rider Jaden mcmull who will be looking to close that gap down we’ll be looking to try and pull that down from

20 seconds and get back in touch at the front now for the second Rider a lot of the teams using their younger Riders on their second rider in the makeup so car Carri Anderson for GB Arthur Vander for Belgium it’s M slamber from France stano VII of Italy that you can see just

Going on to the rear wheel there of the man from Poland so just chasing down Simon poman behind is going to be the United States second Rider is Andrew Strow Strow one of the real strong riders in the pack we know that he is going to be as this continues onwards

See how much this course has got front at the moment just starting to push once again the second FR Rider he is one of the Men’s Under 23 both Landis and lamb both under 23 Riders no men’s Elite rider in the French team meanwhile a little bit further back

You can see that the team from ccha well they have got Christina zova who’s had a fantastic Race season on the World Cup currently being closed down by Great Britain with Austria now dropping down into 10th Place onto onto the B you see the spect inside C don’t do this Justice that bank is about 2 and a half M high it’s really really steep if you stand at the side of the bank put your arm out sideways you can touch the bank that is how steep the

RO have to get up there it is being by the station here the fire just keeping just see the B fly sideway there from the second out for the Italian team sto Viti one of the HP favorites in the competition when it comes to the men’s

Junior race he has taken three wins in the men’s Junior World Cup and is the World Cup winner for the 2023 compman in the race but we will see if he can close that gap down they come down past the pit if you’re new to cyle cross all the Riders will have multiple

Bikes are available for the Riders to change if they need to should need to on a one lap race unless they have a mechanical issue where the bike has broken when later in the weekend they multiple laps see access point this run the stairs go over the planks

Here either side of the course here it gives you a better indication the rers having to sprint in buy hoop in this very difficult nicely done there by the United States rder really pushing on Andrew strowman showing those skills that him through the racing so well this

Season behind Canada now only 7 Seconds off the back wheel of the Slovakian and Great Britain on the heels of Canada so the Slovakia over the planks varas the hurles wholy going in it looks like both choosing the discretion over Val here as they go up and over the PLS

Remount mistake there by Carrick Anderson Just getting the foot slip off the pedal but he’s now got to get that drive down as behind you can see the cheia rider is going to be chasing on at the moment a real battle here between zov along with Hegel who’s making the way

For Austria further back down the you see the efforts go over now these planks are at the top of a up ramp so the first takeoff is on is taking off and you are going skywards you then land have very little momentum you’ve then got to get

It back up and drive on and the moment is quite solid underneath about 2 to three what is 5 to 7 and a half cm of mud that is going to change through the course of the week and we’ll try and keep you updated on that in between the

RAC is going to be doing my best you same bolt to Sprint up to the section up by the planks it’s directly above the been separated by about five layers of course one of the great things about CYO cross whether it’s your local League or

Whether it is the world cup or the world championships as you can see so much action up close and personal we’ll be bringing you all the action from the world championship stuff get of course that you can join us please do jump on to social media # tabor2 24 if you are

Down at the venue watching the racing life then watching it back to get a different viewpoint on it or if you’re at home it’s always good to see where people are keeping up with what’s happening in the racing at the moment you can see on your screens France leading this out at the

Moment to chasing behind belg and Italy the time Gap from front to back in the race Now 1 minute 10 seconds Now 1 minute 19 in fact is our timing screens update here it’s a long long drag up to the top of the hillside here this battle hotting

Up between Canada between Great Britain and Slovakia not much time separated those right of six seconds between them six seconds between Belgium Italy and France three teams together as our French leader comes down past the hit and it’s going to be heading down into towards the start the next ride away

Will be Celia Jerry Sherry who took the overall World Cup win in the women’s Junior competition is about to get the hand over tap on the elbow and away she goes so Sherry away she’s the first of the runs away in the third wave that going

To be followed here is going to be chenil the the Junior Rider from Belgium she is going to be chasing in position two at the moment then is going to be Italy who go out with the United States following so for Italy it’s going to be Valentino Cori for the United States

Well Clara hinger is going to be looking to put in a great ride here this is the sort of conditions that we know she’s going to go well in now the big chase in getting a clean run into the Handover really really key as well what don’t

Want to do is be behind somebody who is going to cause you problems because of where they are sat on the barriers on the dividing fence so the hand over goes in the Slovakian team hand over just in front of the Great Britain team then it’s

Going to be the Polish team followed by the Canadians here so away go the riders for Great Britain it’s going to be K Ferguson leading the chase great BR up to to sixth position the United States in fourth position and we’re seeing a little bit of a shuffle here but the

Leading three France Italy and Belgium in here one of the things that really can pay off is if you have Riders who have experien of doing this race before the United States of Clara hansinger and Scott bston ring who took a silver medal in 2022 Great Britain have Ferguson Bard

And K who have ridden in 2023 taking a silver medal the Belgian Rider Julie browas the rider from the Belgian Squad but those are the only Riders who have experiened of this race as a medalist before so they know what it takes to be right up there now the sh moving up on

To the wheels here of Valentina Cori rifle out just pushing the way across stall though at the moment the French leader up on the top of that bank already showing just how tough it is to get over there on the bike behind you can see both Riders running the Italian

Initially running and that traffic jam that jam behind the Riders really makes a difference when you go on to the bank if you’re a rider one you can take that line if you’re going to get up there you do so you can choose what you do if

You’re behind and it’s really tight if you’re on that cusp of having the momentum and not somebody stores in front of you that can take you off the bike when you don’t intend to and that is where mistakes happen so this is the B you can see here that going up onto

The top Jer just doesn’t quite make the crest there she stalls has to push over the top losing a little bit of time generally it’s better to have a PL Dismount than a force Dismount Force Dismounts tend to cost you more time and I think at the moment Jerry just losing

A little bit of ground to the Italian our time screen saying that’s 5 Seconds who am I to argue with the EK Keepers but it looks like it’s coming down at the moment handling the conditions best at Valentina kovi looking good at the moment G indication of our lap times it

Is the fastest lap time at the moment is from for us it’s 9 Minute 14 lap gives you an indication of just how tough it is out there at the moment we’ve got 22 minutes of racing on the clock we’re on lap three of six be the halfway point when these

Riders hand over see the time gaps on the bottom right hand side of your screen as our leaders go over the tabletop searching out the smoothest line the one which allows them lots of power to go down in and through now the mix behind is changing slightly here

Because we have got for Canada chasing on at the moment AA hren trying to close down onto the back wheel of C Ferguson who is is in herself in the middle of the pursuit so we now have the Slovakian Rider in there that is Victoria schl

Over who took the win hug in the final round of the World Cup last week absolutely stacked field of riders who have performed consistently well throughout the season and Riders who are T in this very interestingly Victoria chova wasn’t initially down on the start list she was substituted in uh initially

It was thought she wasn’t going to ride the team relay to save herself for the racing later in the weekend and that is one of the things where that we see we don’t always see the biggest Riders who are going to be in contention as we see Clara hansing go up onto those

Steps she’s got her Target in front of the United States American Rider looking to close down on the Belgian a bit further back H now closing on the wheels ni onto the wheels SL over onto the wheels of Ferguson schl NOA a women’s Junior competitors C Ferguson also a junior women’s competitor

Although both I think destined to be racing for a long time in cycle across very very talented Riders as is C Jerry who has the race lead she’s holding that lead at the moment 11 seconds if anything standing that it does Yo-Yo up and down as time goes by as you can see

Our check Rider chasing at the moment now our teams they State their start order basically a b c d e and f on the way through so R should all be out on seat they’re not allowed to change that order uh once the start list has been published because they have to

Gamble they have to take the pick and then they have to go out in that order so very interesting to see whether we are going to see anybody trying to just slip the rider in without actually using the right number in Risky tating with our Comm our race referees keeping an

Eye on the Riders C the Bas heading into the flanks B up to the side Dismounts on the left hand this conventional Dismount you’re going to watch over the weekend which I hope you’re going to you will see a number of runers going on to what is

Known as the dirty side the right hand side Dismount generally not so many people do that good Riders who have been practicing they’ been practicing dismount remounting on both sides but most wrers have a preferred side is usually the left hand side of the bike there are certain cers little bit SL Sho

Going over the top there but hinger is closing down here the Gap is coming down she can see that Target she’s going to close down I think just as we come to was potentially the top of the hill and behind the race is coming back together as well here

Because this is a fantastic battle for rers closing up now so we can see Kristoff bazant in here he goes through the three Riders Kristoff at the moment the only male Rider going out so Christoff bizant the rider in the men’s Junior competition pretty much working his way upside the moment

You can see that the Chia team have moved up through into fifth place he’s going to be trying to close down and this is how this race varies it’s what’s great about the races we can look it looks like you’ve got a leader they clear they’ve got this and itn’t work

Out because they come chasing from because you swap round and that makes is very different the last Rider out can be really really critical as we approach half Race distance well at the moment you can see we’ve got France clear of three chasing Riders behind and they’re

LED Now by hinger who’s made her way up and through the group here the battle behind very very close indeed now Slovakia goes into to those blanks out to their left or right hand side takes a look across because out on the far side you could see that hogen hung

Of Canada out the left really making ground but then it is the chck rider coming in through and that is bazant very quickly working his way through the middle of the group he’s now moved his way right the way up into third position just going around the side of the

Italian here and we’re now on to the second second if not third second part of the back oh a big mistake there as he comes down this is what going to happen on these turns is off camber the wheel went away I’m sure we’ll see that again

But that was a big mistake lucky to get away with that so lightly the consequences there maybe not as great as they are on other areas of the course at the moment though France are looking very very strong 26 seconds clear of the front of the racer the cze team now in

That battle with with Italy and Belgium oh two whe s slid slid slid held then just couldn’t keep it any longer but very quickly up one of the things that is key in Cross it’s not about coming off everybody slips and slides in during the course of the individual

Races almost everybody’s bound to slide up at some point particularly when it’s as wet and as slippery as it is here in ball in the Czech Republic but it’s how you pick yourself back up again how you manage to keep in POS position whether or not you keep your head on straight

And don’t let it phe you great race starting developer the back oh mistake there by sh right on the edge there these huge Bridges they are absolutely monstrous and at the moment you could just see as she comes down here I think a little bit phased by that it is very

Difficult that sent and there is a t path ASF path goes across the course there which if you get it wrong on that descended slide onto that is really going to hurt now a move across to the right here by hansing she’s amazing job here of moving them up through the field

But look at this so has bant bant diving down in well he’s still throwing caution to the wind around that turn as he comes in here this means that the Czech team here in the Czech Republic in czechia are going to come in in second place but

It’s France who are coming in first so the Handover will go across to laan dge nework women’s under 23 Rider we’re going to see our check team hand over it’s going to go from Kristoff bazan to Simona spna that will be our next rid out and way for CIA then we’re going to

See the United States hansinger coming in it will be V Lopez toan Roman going out here can she make more ground can she stay with those leaders next in will be Canada the hand over coming from AA hren to Raphael Carri so rapael going now on to course

Going to be chased there that’s going to be the Slovakian going out sopia over and then we see the hand over from Great Britain coming through Oscar Amy heading out next then is going to be our Itali the last one after seen on our screen Alisa fera meanwhile Austria making the way in

Here they’ll be looking to make up a little bit of ground here the austri teams will be the Handover from Adrien stiger to Nadia Hegel so France going out with a 31 second lead as we go on to lap four of six our riders in the lead of the group

Out on the lower slops Down by the River Bank making the way around the back of the viip area on the way out then coming back past the front of the VIP area of these Banks the race now led as it has been for a one now by France laan D on

The under 23 category leading this race up onto the banks this is where we saw Jerry stall at the at top the team in taking notes of passing that over meanwhile behind you can see that L Off plan runs head of our check right here so spner on the heels then he is

Going to be the first of the male competitors who’s coming after this is the Great Britain Rider that is Oscar Amy both Oscar and his brother Alfie actually going to be competing later on in the weekend and D will be looking to pull this back as out in the pit talking with the

Cruise and the mechanics earlier on and in prti oh mistake there just coming on those steps it’s two at the time for Amy in Pursuit he’s going to benefit from that stall from that mistake by spner but she’s very quickly back into the pedals trying to chase down Lopez to ran

At the moment at the French rer up at the front leading this out is D who’s got the Gap so 1 minute 36 separating front to back in the race from France to Poland with the United States czechia Great Britain Slovakia ring at the top five then it’s Canada Italy Belgium Austria

And Poland the battle here is the fight that we’ve seen between Amy the young man from Great Britain the men Junior competition just going around the side of the women’s under 23 Rider from cze Simona spner and they are chasing the rider from the United States

And I think Amy could well be onto the back wheel pretty quickly so the Great Britain team must have been at the very last place early on now moving up through the pack as they have shuffled the last R is going to be key here when we come into the Finish

And what the teams picked for their last Rider is going to make a big big difference four of the teams France USA Poland and Slovakia have got Junior men as their Last Riders three teams Great Britain Belgium and Czech have got men’s Elite Riders two teams have gone a

Different route men’s on 23 for Canada and a women Junior for Austria now top of that bank about getting back up to speed you can just see Amy at the moment working his way past the run from the United States so Lopez going to try

And hold the wheel of Amy as long as possible Right bikes flying outs sideways on that left hand turn always risky throwing the bike around as the home support here hopefully the next generation of cyc cross Riders cheering on the rider from czechia at the moment but France with that lead 16 seconds

From start 31 so it’s been half so laan dge descending taking the right turn taking the left turn here really intriguing competition uh apologies if you missed any of the start of the show in the commentary to start the show this is the UCI cycl cross 2024 Cy cross

World Championships from Tor in cze if you’re just joining us my name is Matt P I’m going to be bringing you all of the race action over the course of the weekend here on the uh uh show we’re hoping to at least keep you entertained with the Rogers and that mistake oh big

Slide by Dura Forge well that is not you wanted quickly back up again but was that a big enough hit to delayer here just to watching the run the remount is still smooth dur Forge picked herself back up again the bike clearly okay she doesn’t

Want to risk going in for a bike change 16 seconds down to 12 seconds now the Gap Amy is about to come on to the heels here of dura Forge and he should be able to do so here pretty much as they go on to the upper part of the course to make

The way up little mistake byan everybody having issues on this course with slips and slides but it is going to be D for who hits the PLS first Amy running pushing de bik waiting for the moment to remount interesting tactic by him going a little bit further

Up in front there he’s ahead of Lopez danan Roman who’s currently being CH here it is the check run behind at the moment that is Unova sarova lot of spot and at the moment not out of this 208 still holding a nice Gap to the Riders behind it is the rer from

Slovakia this is going to be Nadia hael now Nadia heel is one of our women’s Elite Riders she’s up against the Belgian Rider Julie brow brow having a good season now this season good to see Julie right up in the mix and we are in here you can just see

Alfie Amy starting to open the Gap he’s gone past he’s opened the Gap and it is Alfie Amy now with the lead now when they were out on the sorry Oscar Amy on the lead now so Oscar at the front Oscar not known for being backward at coming

Forward he’s a rider that went told to take it easy on the course uh for course practice he hit the deck at least once giving it absolutely everything showing that he clearly was up for today at the moment he has taken great breit back into the lead with France in second and

The United States in third but this is lap four of six we still have two Riders of each team waiting down on the fences on the UK called the barriers as comes down a really fast see that speed their foot out it looks smoother at the moment from D but what

Is happening is when it looks smooth gener m not quite on that rugged Edge really good ride here from the United States Rider from V Lopez Sama really working well here and keeping in touch with the Riders around so at the moment Great Britain leading is fr us United States well in

The mix here they’re ahead of czechia they’re ahead of Slovakia they’re ahead of Belgium but what cap can Amy build on this they are looking to take this away Great Britain’s best result so far has been second at hogah Hayer last year the first of the years where we had six

Riders in the team the year before in Fairville four riders in the relay team it’s up to six a format that works really well well for all of the team competition it work well in glas it’s great race great action at the world championship mountain bike it works

Really well here on the cyc cross a great race a great way to see lots of riders and to get Riders who are Juniors racing with Elise racing with under 23s all out on the course at the same time the ti while they are all looking like

Full mud as we can see coming round this turn the check rer still chasing in fourth position currently 8 seconds to the r from the United States in third place holding on to what it would be a Podium position if it stayed that way to

The end but this is the team R if you add into the fact that we always say say commentators cliche out across anything can happen at any time well this is relay and you just throw into the mix the tactics the selection of riders that makes a big big difference so as they

Come around they’re heading in past the pit one is going past pit number two the P’s numbered in order that the Riders get to them so piit one the first one that they get to piit two which is the second through pass up pick goes Amy

He’s going to hand over osar Amy handing over to Anna K Anna K taking the national title as did Oscar at ferk this year they’re out on to the C it’s anak K now who leads out the women’s Elite competitor for Great Britain ahead of the

Here from France so this will be dur Forge handing handing over to Helen CL out CL out having a good World Cup season this season another women’s Elite competitor heading out onto the course so two women’s Elites so far out on to lap number five so next Rider is going

To be our United States Rider it’s going to be hand over to the women’s under 23 Rider Lauren Zoda so the junior Haso the under 3 then this is going to be the Run don’t you hear the crowd really shoting down here now women under 23 RP has over to amily

Godwal over are the women’s under Junior rder as the Belgian Squad juli brow is going to hand into the living legend that is sakat here so sakat takes to the course the Belgium Champion she’s had that more times than you can count I think 15 times now she’s had that Jersey

Almost simultaneous hand over with Canada handing over from rafhael carrier to Isabella HR there up at the front end with Canada you can see going out at pretty much the same time with the Slovakian Handover soov going across to vova the front of the race anak almost

Popping it over the top there really working the handle bars great technique as she comes around anakate one of the riders that we know is super smooth she likes it when it’s muddy When It’s Tricky when it’s slippery grew up racing a mountain bike background first had the pleasure of

Watching Anna race when she was racing for The Nutcracker racing team who are based in the north of England and putting in some great performances on the mountain bike then going across to be a full-time cross Rider a very very skilled Rider a little bit of a slip

There she won’t Panic at all here at anak over the top of the back there lots of support coming from the crowd at the side behind L clel chasing from France here searching for the grip and Cy across we say green is good and brown is

Bad green is grip there’s not much grip there’s not much grass there’s a heck of a lot of mud and it is just getting wetter and more slippery as the time goes by the AR SS where if it gets much deeper we’re going to start seeing some big dips which can

Actually spit the Riders off we were seeing that in Huga for the last round of the World Cup there was a section where there was tight right hand turn in front of the VIP there and the Riders were going flying out of it because they hit a tree route underneath and a big

Rock was starting to emerge as well and that catapulted the Riders out so it’s not just what the Riders can see it’s what’s underneath the ground there are a couple of places here where the commissaires race referees have sprayed the some of the stones that are down in

The ground with some blue paint to make it a little bit easier for the Riders to spot them less chance of getting a puncture but tire pressures are going to be key for grip although everybody’s on mud a lot of the Riders experimenting yesterday some very interesting

Conversations going on in the Irish Camp about whether they should run 40 PSI I suspect those might have oh mistake here from the United States R well recovered there a quick recovery by laena to get that back on Lost very little time indeed SOA clear the chase behind to

Coming from Jack here it is Emily gotova who has got that position but she has got s Jason behind and S multi-time world champion and multi-time National Champion she knows how to ride a champion she’s a rider who’s ridden this course many many times it’s various different incarnations lots of different

Changes to the course only subtle but they do make a difference K quickly putting the bike up on the shoulder great technique put it on the shoulder keep the tire Treads out of the mud as long as you can and get the bike down you can just see on that

Side of the track there looking to accelerate kickoff from that good section as the frenchwoman a little bit of a slide if this is indicator of what’s to come this weekend it’s going to be an absolute cracker because already this course is really really difficult this climb up from the steps

It’s so difficult to remount and get the pressure on the pedals to get that acceleration up and to take that momentum onwards that remount is difficult enough on the flat for most people doing it on the uphill almost impossible but these are the world’s best Riders riding in the world

Championships here in tort in jkia don’t don’tget please do tag Us in if you are on social media is # Tor 2024 don’tget you can follow the UCI action it is UCI CX on X it is UCI cycling on Instagram so please do put your pictures in when you’re watching as the race

Leader goes down another slip and a slide but this is going to be power for the course around the circuit here into ball K leading from Great Britain 14 seconds clear from France 53 seconds clear from the United States great looking to go one better than the silver

Medal from last year last year’s medalist from the Netherlands gold medalist from the Netherlands not taking two race start today not entering a team here you sh Magnus bad at the side of the course there with the big bobble hat on with the red white and blue stripe

There put the sh and for an really sh instructions the Parry re and to Stage winner of course for say back and part of the team have been in that great team at the moment the K the penultimate rider for Great Britain leading as they come in to

The planks h to the barriers takes the left hand side now anak is not the tallest Rider on the course at the moment uh she’s uh you can see she came up to those blanks up to the hurdles they came pretty much up to her knee she make short work of

That behind though great ride here coming from closel helain closel has had an absolutely cracking season 16th in the World Cup overall despite missing what was three rounds in the competition and her best position if I remember correctly I think she was inside the top

10 on a couple of occasions uh two ninth places I think at and I think it’s probably FL Manfield uh in France where she was now can CL keep the Gap can she close it down it’s at 4 seconds at the moment behind San count has gone through

The pack and is in to third position at the moment that Gap is 55 seconds to the leader 49 to second place behind her they’re a lot closer though and now Jaa really starting to put a push on here trying to stay clear but who’s coming up on the inside it’s

Isabelle hogen the Canadian Rider who really came to most people’s attention at the world championships in H Hyer last year it was a real Canada Fest in the hogah Hyer in the Netherlands last year will they be able to repeat that this year as you can see at the moment though

This is a real CH because as they come down diving down we’re going to see the Handover and it’s going to be France who get the hand over cazelle has made the ground we’ve got one more Ascent up to the top of the plateau and a drop back down again and

Then they’re going to be done but it’s not all that far before they’re going to get there and I think we’re going to see a hand over from France the ascendancy well is with France at the moment losing ground an of Great Britain so clel clearly fired up for this and riding

Strongly conditions working I think a little bit in her favor here she’s out of the saddle really stamping down look at the aggression coming coming here from clel she Powers away up here from France K in the saddle riding smoothly no panicking but you can see that bike really bouncing about underneath that

Race leader as she’s coming up to the top K’s not giving up though she will want to minimize that time Gap they’ll come down to the last Rider Great Britain team will be handing over to Cameron Mason the French team will be handing over to OB spell and remember different categories because

Cameron Mason is a men’s Elite Rider and Auburn sparfel he is a men’s Junior Rider now that doesn’t necessarily translate the elite of faster than the Juniors it just means that older and maybe won’t throw as much caution to the win we’ll see what happens camon Mason

Loves this kind of mud will Spar be able to hold the lead that seems to have been forged here in front Belgium working back though in the shape of son coming around these top turns and it looks like the Gap now opening between Canada and CIA as

Well so Sans from Belgian closing the gap down to the two leaders the Belgian team will be handing over to what could be potentially the fastest Rider of the last wave of riders that is Michael voran out the European Champion the former under 23 world championship team just stripping his jacket off and

Just throwing it to the helpers at the side I hope he’s riding his better than he’s throwing generally is he makes his way back to the barrier so France will have the first hand over this is going to be the move from elain closel to Oben

Spel they’re going to hand off third rer back on the barers here we go so the last R out for France is away the hand over goes Mason from Great Britain and a look behind here as you can see sonon on the way past the pit area the Gap as

They came through last time was 39 seconds shown on our screens well 39 seconds has she closed it down some more coming in that is going to be I think the Gap that’s going to be handed over from Sak to Michael vanor out the Belgian Squad well had two third places

Two bronze medals they’re in the bronze medal position can the Belgian Squad do anything about this can Canada get their first team medal they are going to see a hand over here from Isabelle hungr to Ian aart one of under 23 competitors he’s going to make his way out in fourth

Place as he heads to the line now 7 seconds from France to Great Britain 38 seconds from France to Belgium the Gap to Canada is going to be in the region about 55 what will it be for the czechia squad they’re inside the top five as the absolute Legend the jeda or

Grandad of a cyclone cross it is the one and only multitime world champions the stear I’m going to Revel it every single time I say that I warn you right now because steevie is out on course this is his last championships it’s his penultimate event he’ll be racing in the

Men’s leite and a man who is entertainers is on course with work to do he has 1 minute 10 to close down on the very front of the race and it’s our race leader you can see here over sparfel now will this man be the next

Deb I don’t know about that one man who is really making ways in the cycl cross community Cameron Mason he’s a man who the belgians have really taken to heart he been based in Boon in the low countries for the duration of the Cross season really working the world in the

Elite races he’s been known to have a slowest start in a pack and then basically to do what Cameron Mason does Best close gaps and then move to the front he needs to do that to the race leader from France the gaps 6 seconds behind well the Belgian Rider chasing it

Is the men’s Elite European Champion Michael vour now he’s a rider who really does cell on this course he’s a known winner we know that he’s a rider who really can ride strongly when Power Balance and speed are all played off in these muddy conditions the race at the very front

Though Mason can see what he wants he can see that race lead he keeps looking up but behind him I think vur now is going to also see the riders that he wants he will want both of them back he will want to take Belgium out of that bronze medal

Position they won’t want three third places they won’t want three bronze Ms they’ll want top sport what can do well he’s at one minute 10 at the moment the Jack R the absolute Legend of cycl crossa goes up on to the Topson great support coming out to him included on

Mascot at the side there cheering The Legend on here on home turf he’s got a lot of work to do it at the moment over on of France looking strong as he goes over the top of SPF not panick it onto the steps hard time G me saying that 7

Seconds it doesn’t look like 7 Seconds To Me surely that starting to come down at this stage onto the last lap it’s lap six of six of the 2024 cyc cross world champions here into too and check here we’ve got a 7c gap showing on our screens it’s hardly any distance between

France and great britainy one to two between two and three the Gap is coming down but it’s coming down slowly and Michael Manor now has got to really start to pick this base up he can’t afford to leave it too late we are still on the early part of the final lap but

If he leaves it too late they’re going to be left in third place the fourth and fifth places well that is only 9 seconds separating Canada from Jack here at the moment we work way through 344 the total time difference between our leaders France and our team in 10th position that is

Poland so check here soar closing down on in AA of Canada here that Gap n seconds you can see the distance between the two Riders herea Rems I wonder how many times he’s done that in his career it must surely be into the hundreds of thousands if not the millions as he’s

Gone around the course all that trading all of the races over the years these two Riders have got a long way to go to match his career highlights but both very talented Riders and both definitely have the potential to be future world champions you’ve got OB in

Here open spuff of France and right behind him C Mason camp on to the hills he’s going to go alongside him as go into the planks into the hurdles neither already going to putting hop this as they go over in practice saw Mason ride those he’s choosing not to do so today just

Just got two slippy and greasy and Mason here has to get back up to speak quicker than that he’s lost time here he’s not that old he can’t plead age against the Youth of sparfel as we we see Michael vanur out who is on his way

In quick Dismount here goes off to the right hand side so as we saying earli on some rers to the right the dirty side Dismount and remount he does that very quickly indeed one of only a few riders that do that stea absolutely burying himself in

Pursuit of AKA AA here not throwing that bike around keeping it smoother but is he losing time timeline in thereby she going to come on to the heels of the Canadian surely I must know he’s coming he can hear the shouts of the crowd behind now sparle had a reprieve when

Mason didn’t get that remount quite as correct as he would have liked and at the moment the branch team the crew the pit to help us on running up the side of the course screaming at their Rider trying to keep him in front here Mason is digging deep he’s in all kinds of

Pain at the moment you can see he really wants this as where he goes diving down here here left turn now we seen slips and slides on these corners from our Riders earlier on in the race got to hold this nice and smooth no real big rut starting

To develop on here this is a course that is used and has been used for decades for cyclo cross here in tabour it’s of course a lot of the road done inside line slightly tight to line there taken by Mason he then pulls up it flicks that back wheel out and round as

They come up on to the climb our two leaders are together H SP of France with Cameron Mason now it opens up again and this if this is going to be about who can climb quickest at the moment it looks like sparall really is climbing the quick he Mason he’s throwing that

Bike all over the course he slipping and sliding Michael vuro is closing but he’s not closing fast enough it’s going to take a minor miracle surely for Belgium to close gap down on our two leaders who are fighting it out this is for a gold and silver medal as one of the GB

Supporters in the w w outfit that’s the red and white strikes from Wessex shouts on in the background Mason will know exactly who they are he won’t have time to look and try and spot them out on the course easy to see today as our Belgium Rider Chase in here Michael vanur now

Taking another three seconds off he needs a lot longer race if he’s going to get back to the two leaders Mason needs to Now find that kitchen sink throw it in here quick because he’s got to get in he needs to throw everything at this he

Has to get this Gap back down again he will not want to leave this to hisam Once get past but time is running out they’re onto the big bridge here there is nothing in this at all this is about one mistake this is about any kind of error as they go down this

Side here it’s not far down that straight 150 M the GB team look up on in those orange jackets Mason’s about to make cont comes to the side he’s going to try and take a different light as he come down into the final turn here this is the left hand

Turn France are going to be leading onto the tarmak OB spell comes in first can he hold this he’s got Mason behind his sparfel junior is up against the older Rider and this is a run for the Lan is along sweeping left hand B they go to

The barriers and sparfel is leading this Mason’s coming alongside as he got it he can’t make it in his front the first of the 2024 World Champions at the cyclo cross championships here inour what a Sprint finish and the youngster puts the Great Britain team into second place he beats Cameron Mason

In that Sprint OB spel brought the team home for France to take away the gold medal Michael vour now is going to make it three bronze from three team relay cyc cross championship 32 seconds down from that Sprint win and you can see the teammates who are out

And racing what a race he had to hold off the chasing Rider behind congratulations to the French team for taking the win to Great Britain for taking second and to the Belgian team for taking third place three teams Home Three medals here’s going to take this

It’s going to be Canada who are going to come home for fourth place in AA has held off the Chase from sharar’s been caught here Shar has been caught and he’s been caught by the Italian it looks like the aird of the pellaton is going to feel it here today as Italy come

Through to take what is a fifth place here today a great ride by giola balini to bring home the Italian team just ahead of sh stea the legend of cycle across and his been an ultimate race he has one more race to go and look at that

That’s why we Abol absolutely love that steba a put on the back a well done there he’s given it absolutely everything only want more buddy and then it’s going to be job done so our runs in so far our top six teams it’s going to be a seventh place

Here for the United States of America they’re being brought to line by David John Thompson our Junior Rider from America going to bring the team home here here today they’ll be looking forward to the races coming up remember seven races throughout the Championships the French take the very first title

I’ll be looking forward to pulling on those iconic rainbow bands shortly you can see just how hard our competitors push sta not surprisingly on home turf getting a lot of air time on czeck TV as well as on our channel here and welld deserved but what a race from the

French team they held off the chase be hide camera Mason using every millimeter of the course for the Great Britain team in his pursuit of Oben sparfel but was this the decisive moment the exit from the planks from the barriers sharel Road slightly higher into the place into

Those barriers he gets a clean remount and then gets the power down Mason then was left chasing he chased all the way to the line that push that Sprint that lunge a great win by over spell he’s going to remember that and Mason maybe ruin with that chase and that little

Mistake further back down the course well well done to our French team here today great riding great racing by the squads that are out on course our next ride in the Finish will be our Slovakian team Rider Martin Suman making the final run for the line it’s an eighth place today for

Slovakia Su coming home after being led out by hosi followed by OVA OVA vova and then the Finish there by Martin sh to bring Slovakia into an eighth place ninth and 10th at the moment between Poland and Austria and a pretty substantial Gap show on my timing

Screams here at the moment between the two Riders left out on course so the first race of the weekend almost coming to a conclusion all of the Riders who are racing have to be racing in another race this weekend so they have to be in another race on Saturday

On Sunday and that means that the Riders have to get their recovery done they have to zip up those zip off legs they have to put the warm gear on they have to spin out that light gas to get ready to race as our next team are about to

Come in to the Finish being brought home here it is our rid from Poland Casper doka comes to the line du going to be the next rod in the penultimate Rider in day’s team relay it’s going to be a ninth place for Poland our medalists will be getting

Ready to receive them at the stage at the UCI stage here today Asar is getting the pictures in with the team the Polish supporters down here in for have been cheering home Martin Suman and don’t forget there’s lots more action to come as we see Sophia nabert of Austria

Making her way around the course in 10th position at the moment she’s going to bring the Austrian team in and through she will be racing in our women’s Junior race and the women’s Junior race the first of the races tomorrow on Saturday now that is going to come out uh local

Time here is Central European Time C the women’s Junior cycle cross race is at 11:00 we will be kicking off the proceedings with that we will see now but in action there we’ll be following that with the men’s under 23 championships at 12:30 at 2:30 it will be the women’s Elite championships

Sunday we have the men’s Junior then the women’s under 23 and then the men’s Elite at the same times 11 12:30 and 2:30 and we’ll be bringing you all of that action as well well please do join us for that we can’t necessarily promise you the randomness that is the team

Really but we can say it’s going to be wet it’s going to be muddy it’s going to be slippery it’s going to be proper cyclocross weather and we’re going to be trying to cover every single Rider we’ll try and tell you what the tire pressures

Are if the Riders let us into it and if there is any change if there’s anybody daring enough to change from a mud tire for those of you new to cyle across tire pressures and Tire type are absolutely critical to how far you go more grip equals less speed generally more drag

However speed is nothing without control do not sacrifice grip for Speed in the words of the legendary Nick Craig will we see anybody gamble will we see somebody like a f to go for a file tread which he’s been known for surely that would be utadis on the track of the the

Moment but is us to get warm it’s us to get mud it’s us to get wetter we’re going to see more SLI we’re going to see more SLS we’re going to see more our Riders put fantastic performances as we see our young Rider from Austria come through get a bigger cheer from the

Crowd at the finish line here in Tabor she’s going to push all the way in and you can see the photographers in and waiting to make sure that they recall the moment that sopia naber of Austria comes through to finish her race here in front of our Camas let’s hear that

Congratulation you are the world champions so what are your first uh feelings emotions it’s just amazing it’s I we would like to to win today but now we we are world champion so it’s it’s just incredible uh what about Obin powerful and his performance how did you

See it and uh because he was going against camer Mas and he was approaching to him so what were your feelings emotion while they were finishing yeah it was super stressful but we know Hoban is super strong and he just win is so strong and we are very proud of him

Thank you so much congratulations so this is what it’s all about it is those gold medals let’s have a look back at the highlights from today a very fast start by our Riders out onto the course here incredible action in the cyclo cross team Rel here at the world

Championships the initial lead being taken by France however all the Riders battling out around what was an increasingly difficult of course as the weather changed and the mud came and France handing over to each other with some very smooth moves came through Great Britain started at the back of the

Pack but we’re chasing France all the way through eventually working the way up into WS for strong ride by the Czech team saw them move up into contention but then dropped back down out of it the USA were up and battling and the great thing about the team relay those tactics

From the teams really changing so the teams starting with very different Riders three teams with the elite so men’s Elite three with the men’s under 23 three with the men’s Junior great BR starting with their WS under 23 the teams changing all the way through the last Rider being absolutely

Critical and it proved to be the case in the Run for the gold medal for the win withen SP going out for France ahead of Cameron Mason and it was Mason who had a little bit of a mistake on the ascent of the planks are going over the barriers

And the way out me he chased all the way to the line the Lune being the final movees that took go SP to the Wi take away the gold medal here today and we’re going to see our top three teams on the podium for the titles your confirmed

Results on the screen here and as you can see the teams separated at the End by just under eight minutes separating top to bottom very different tactics from the teams on the way through apologies if you missed any of the Tactical discussion at the start of the

Show hope that later if you want to go back and listen to that later on the medals are ready our presentation party are ready the bronze silver and gold medals along with a set of six rainbow jerseys for the team relay that’s what it’s all about grabbing hold

Of the jersey that is awarded across a multitude of disciplines that are all part of the UCI Cy across disciplin to the indoor across to the track to the road to the mountain Pik downhill we saw a lot out in Glasgow we’re going to see more jersies here today tomorrow and

Sunday just wait our runers to be ready and then we will be on with the medal ceremony will bring you that uh to its conclusion here today and all the way through the weekend the crows having made their way down from off on the course they’re packing the multiple

Grand stands on the course as well as down here on the finishing straight great to see lots of youngsters here today I hope you’re going to be watching all of the action throughout the course of the weekend and don’t forget if you are do send us a message you can get

Hold of me it’s at Mat fix pain on social media you can get a hold of us on by hashing tabore it’s # tore 2024 and don’t forget make sure you give the UCI a follow it is UCI cycling across pretty much all of the social media channels as

The top three teams here today you see the social media tags to the right hand side the left hand side of that Podium so please do jump on board if you want to find out how to join in with a great sport cycle cross and great display Cy

Cross and get in touch with your local Club your local team don’t forget you can go on to the UCI website or your local uh website or your govern body websites and jump on board whatever age you are we want to see you in and on the bike

And has to be said there are some great Riders of all ages competing although we contest the junior the under 23 and the elite races here in tabour the world championships go right through all ages right the way up into the 80 plus age category the Masters World Championship

Always a great place to see lots of very experienced Riders who know every trick in the book out and racing so whilst we await the uh sing the Riders starting to make the way out the official training opening up for the Riders are going to be out there till

About 4:00 today local time getting those laps in just trying to make sure that they know exactly where how this course is changed yesterday’s practice was really cold it was frozen we’ve had two weeks of ice it minus5 with people skating on all the local LS but it’s got

Really warm really quick it went down to about minus one last time so there was some ice about it has got warmer as the day has gone on apparently it doesn’t look like it when you look at our Spectators in their big bubble hats out there however it’s going to get warmer

And warmer it’s not due to freeze tonight and it’s going to go right the way up to about five or six degrees potentially maybe all the way up to 8 uh good to see our Spectators here two of our STS Rec cycle across from the UK in

There the wesing wall is in there as well the team have looked after uh races like the national Trophy and people from All Nations making the way here into tour so we have race organizers from the United States I’ve seen down here from Belgium from France and next year’s

Championships were there in leeven in France so met the organizers last night was a very very nice chat with them and really looking forward to that they’re really excited to be here and see what to B do they’ve been promoting Cy cross for a long long time and that’s going to

Be some great action who’s going to be going there as defending Champions well it is going to be France in terms of the team relay be on that stage very shortly a lot of riders to assemble because of course we have six Riders Street teams it’s 18 Riders it’s the busiest stage

Will be uh I suspect that the Riders made the way in here so bu team the Great Britain team and the French team I see two out of three which a apparently so the r just working out what order they’re going to go up on to the

Stage as the Belgian team make the way down here for the ceremonies oh good to see the slightly older hand St on the Y hands to make sure that they keep the jerseys zip right up at the front making sure that you get that Podium protocol right and make sure

You represent your nation correctly is always essential I’ve been looking enough to work backstage a number of times is a bit like hurting cats at the back of the stage trying to get all of the Riders all the right order at the right time and for the seam relay that is

Definitely the case the Riders ready the Press are ready make sure of course that you tune in to see all of our further medal ceremonies that will be kicking off as the crowd ring out guess who’s ridden down the straight it is only a rid will the chance be Lou for those

Than the cheers those on stage I very much doubt it because these are our top three teams here today they are your world championships as we see sha leave the uh leave the venue for today he will be back in the men’s Elite race on Sunday I’m sure somebody’s going to tell

Him he going the wrong way around so the stage is ready it’s time for our medal ceremony for the 2024 UCI cyc cross World Championships team relay so our presentation party makes the way to the stage the medals the jerseys carried out with due respect as you

Would expect the teams making the way on following the presentation party will line up in front of the podium ready for the start of The of the 75th edition of the world championship the medals and jys will be presented by Mr the ladies and gentlemen third place and winners of the Bron the national team of so Mar the president of the CH cycling Federation presenting the prizes the third place team the bronze medalist

Up on to the podium it is Belgium three bronze medals in the three editions of this race when will they change that color will it be a next year in leing in France there’s some serious weight in those medals had a little look at those backstage were really are very very nice

Indeed and the Riders getting hold of those some of the Riders of course this will be their very first world championship medal some have had more than one or two s I can’t to the right of your screens there a rider with more than most and winners of the silver medal the

National team of great so the crowded stage of the great team take away the silver medal here today it is their second silver medal in the three years of running so second time C Ferguson zo Bard and anak have taken medals in the team relay the team with

The most national champions on board grab a medal here in Tabor at the 2 24 cyc cross World Championships in that Team [Applause] the French team pulling on the I iconic rainbow jerseys that they will hold a fantastic performance from start to finish from the French team in the end taking the win in the final nail biting Sprint to the line the Riders who have been cheering on their final Rider Oben

Sparfel making the most of the conditions here being nice dve even had a little bit of sunshine you can see though the rain starting to fall here which means that the slippery conditions that the French came and saw and conquered will be even wetter even more

Slippery and even more slide as we go on from this the first race of seven races here in this fantastic iconic venue of cycl cross I know I’m using the word iconic a lot get ready for it because the cyclocross championship have such a long history the team relay well we’ve

Only been running that for three years this is the third running but it is a medal the first medal in the team relay it’s going to be a gold medal that’s going to go over the top of those rainbow jerseys for France and they also receiving the Weller medal of and now for

Theow this volume will be presented by Mr Ro the Deputy Governor of the South ban region so a forest of flows going to be heading out to our Riders as well as their medals and of course those rainbow jerseys for France the Riders put in fantastic performances all the way

Across our 10 teams here today in tabour and what have been probably the coldest conditions we’re going to get the only thing that may change that is the wind that is due to coming now is Du to be incredibly windy as we move through the course of the weekend forecasts are

Varied and changing almost as uh uh much as the wind is changing blowing down the straight the moment’s headwind down this finishing straight it’s due to get stronger over the course of the weekend that way well change how the course rides there is the potential for a

Little bit of rain over the next few hours but it is mostly going to be dry and warm and the water and the moisture that’s out on the course is going to come from the ground that’s frozen melting and that is quite substantial because it has been incredibly cold for

A long time here temperatures as I said earlier going down to minus5 on a regular basis that normally doesn’t stop the cyclo cross here in czechia however all right is not all necessarily use in honor of our new UC world champions we present The naal Anthem of France You As Le plays out here the French team take the Applause of the crowd your world champions here today it is France the team relay Victors a silver medal for Great Britain second place and a bronze medal third place for Belgium here today inor in CIA all these Riders racing later in the
