In this video, we are going to show you how to make three quick, easy, and delicious holiday appetizers that will impress your guests. The first is the crispy quinoa patties with mayo chipotle dipping sauce; the second is a festive potato salad with jazzed-up salad dressing; and the third is garlic shrimp with guacamole spread canapés.

The first appetizer is crispy quinoa patties with a creamy and spicy mayo chipotle dipping sauce. These are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they are packed with protein and flavor. The dipping sauce adds a nice kick and complements the quinoa patties perfectly.

The second appetizer is a festive potato salad with a jazzed-up salad dressing. This is not your ordinary potato salad, because we are going to show you how to make a homemade dressing with mayonnaise, mustard, honey, and lemon. The ultimate vegetarian starter for this Holiday season is these crispy quinoa patties. Dip them in a spicy chipotle sauce, which will transform a boring quinoa into a flavorful appetizer.

CRUNCHY QUINOA PATTY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup Cooked Quinoa
• 1 or 2 Eggs (Beaten)
• 2 to 3 Stalks Green Onion (Finely Chopped)
• 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper (Finely Diced)
• ½ tsp Salt
• ½ tsp Garlic Powder
• ½ tsp Onion Powder
• ½ tsp Ground Pepper
• 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
• Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS
• Combined in a mixing bowl all of the ingredients. Mix well.
• Place 2 tablespoons of the quinoa mixture on a baking sheet. Form flat round patties. Freeze the patties in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
• Pan-fry the patties over medium-high heat on both sides until golden brown.

CHIPOTLE MAYO SAUCE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 2 tbsp Chipotle in Adobo Sauce
• 1 Clove Garlic (Minced)
• 1/2 cup Mayo
• 1 tbsp Lemon
• 1/2 tsp Cumin

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
• Chill for at least an hour before consuming

GARLIC SHRIMP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 400 grams Shrimps (Peeled)
• 3 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
• 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
• 2 tbsp Butter
• 1 tsp Oregano
• 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
• 1 tbsp Parsley (Chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS
• Combine in a mixing bowl shrimp, smoked paprika, oregano, ¼ tsp of salt, and ¼ tsp of black pepper. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
• Sauté shrimp in a pan over high heat for 1 minute with a tablespoon of oil.
• Add minced garlic and butter. Cook for 2 minutes to fully melt the butter and to cook the shrimp. Add lemon juice and give it a quick stir.
• garnish with parsley

FRESH GUACAMOLE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 2 Avocados
• 1 cup Cilantro (Roughly chopped)
• 1-2 tbsp Lime (Add more or less)
• 2-3 stalks Green Onion
• Salt & Pepper (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS
• Blend until smooth and creamy all of the ingredients in a food processor

A FESTIVE POTATO SALAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 3 Medium-sized Yukon Gold Potatoes (diced and cooked)
• 3/4 cup Carrots (Finely diced)
• Dill Pickle/gherkins (Diced)
• 1 Apple (any red apple, Diced)
• 1 stalk Green Onion (to garnish)
• Boston Lettuce (to decorate)
• 6 tsp Pomegranate (to garnish)

DRESSING:
• 3/4 cup Mayonaise
• 1 tbsp Yellow French Mustard
• 2 tsp White Wine Vinegar/ Lemon Juice
• 1/8 tsp Salt
• 2 tsp Honey
• 1/4 tsp White Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
• Combine the dressing ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
• Add diced potato, carrot, pickle, and apple. Mix well with the dressing.
• Garnish with Boston lettuce, green onion, and pomegranate.

Happy Holiday Everyone! Do you ever get asked to a holiday dinner and have to bring something to share but have no idea what to make? Well, we’re here to provide you with three appetizer recipe ideas that you can create at home that are quick, easy, and delicious.

These appetizers are perfect for the holiday season, and your host will be impressed and think you spent a lot of time in the kitchen. So, without further ado, let us begin with our first recipe. Recipe #1 CRUNCHY QUINOA PATTIES with CHIPOTLE SAUCE The first recipe is these crunchy quinoa patties with chipotle sauce.

These patties are the perfect starter if you are looking for something crunchy and a bit more healthy. They are garlicky, peppery, and onionly. Dip these patties in a chipotle sauce to take the flavor to the next level of tanginess and spicyness. This is also an excellent vegetarian starter.

Begin by beating one egg. If the mixture is still too dry, we may need two eggs, but we’ll see how it goes later. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard to give it a sharper taste. Give it a good stir Let’s cook 1 cup of quinoa We like to use the a rice cooker

Simply combine 1 cup of pre-washed quinoa with 1 cup of water. Depending on your rice cooker, you may need to add 2 cups of liquid. Add 1 teaspoon of butter to make it more flavorful. That’s it; now let the rice cooker do its job. It looks great and is cooked perfectly every time.

Finely dice and add 1/2 cup of red bell pepper Finely chopped 2 to 3 stalks of green onion Mix well. The quinoa appears to be a touch dry. One additional beaten egg will be added. This looks perfectly moist.

Lay a piece of wax paper on top of the tray and place two tablespoons of the quinoa mixture. Form a circle, and use a flat object to flatten the quinoa as much as possible. Freeze the quinoa in a refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden.

Immediately, fry the patties in a skillet with 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Fry on each side for 5 to 8 minutes. Be careful when flipping over the patties. Gently remove the patties and allow them to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

To make the chipotle mayo sauce, it’s really easy. Combine 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of chipotle in adobo sauce. 1/2 teaspoon Dried Cumin 1 clove of minced garlic And finally about 1 tablespoon of lemon juice Give it a good stir, and you are done.

Recipe # 2 A FESTIVE POTATO SALAD with JAZZED-UP DRESSING The second recipe is these festive potato salad with tangy, sweet and refreshing dressing. The salad includes diced apples and pomegranate, which give it a subtle crunch. It’s the perfect appetizer to cleanse your palate and get you ready for the main course.

Begin by peeling and dicing three medium-sized Yukon gold potatoes. Add cold water and 1/4 cup of Kosher salt Boil until they are forked tender. Then, drain and set aside to cool down In the meantime, let’s make the salad dressing by combining 3/4 cup of mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon of yellow French mustard

2 teaspoon of white wine vinegar About 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper A dash of salt 2 teaspoons of honey Mix thoroughly Add the cooked potato Peel and finely dice 3/4 cup of carrot. We prefer to dice them finely to make them easier to eat. Dice about 1/2 cup of dill pickle.

The pickle adds a nice crunch and tartness to the taste. Dice an apple, which also provides a nice crunch and sweetness to the taste. Give it a good mix and that is pretty much it. You made yourself a delicious and refreshing potato salad.

You can also be fancy and serve them as a cocktail. By adding Boston lettuce and pomegranate, the appetizer takes on a more festive flavor. Recipe # 3 GARLIC SHRIMP CANAPÉS with GUACAMOLE SPREAD Our third recipe is these succulent garlic shrimp with avocado spread.

If you love garlic, then you will love these garlicky and lemony shrimp one-bitters. Served on a rice cracker and topped with a generous spread of our homemade refreshing guacamole and savory shrimp, they strike a perfect balance of strong flavor and mild taste.

To make these delicious bites, start by marinating the 400 grams of shrimp with 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon of dried oregano Next, season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper Mix well and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to marinate.

Let’s make a quick, delicious, and creamy guacamole. Start by adding 3 stalks of chopped green onion to a food processor. 1 cup of roughly chopped fresh cilantro leaves Add two avocados. To make it easier to combine, roughly slice them before putting them to the food processor.

Season with salt and fresh ground black pepper Add 2 tablespoons lime juice. You are free to add more or less. Blend until smooth and creamy. It just takes 10 minutes to make, and you’ll have fresh and tasty guacamole.

Sauté the shrimps in a pan with a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat for a minute. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic 2 tablespoons of unslated butter Stir for 2 minutes to fully melt the butter. Squeeze roughly 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Take the pan off the heat. We’re all set to assemble the appetizer. For the base, we like to use these crispy rice crackers. Spread the guacamole generously on top of the cracker. Finally, add garlic shrimp on top. That’s all there is to it. It’s quite easy to make and looks so elegant.
