    1. I like the way that Mike stops at the red light. Too many cyclists don't. As a cyclist and a driver, this bad behaviour increases driver's resentment of cyclists.

    2. Welcome to current, “the highway code does not apply to me” culture!
Giving way when the rules dictate, is now seen as a sign of weakness or at the very least, an inconvenience drivers will not tolerate, thus we see this daily.
Stay safe Mikey, watch out for those entitled idiots out there eh!

    3. At the speed your going, he should have spotted you. Part of the problem is that as a driver, I tend to look for other cars. Cars are mostly easy to spot, ( unless they are in the blind spots) but motorcycles and bikes can be a nightmare to spot for different reasons. If I had been on the bike, I would have let this go, they genuinely made an error and felt bad about it. There but for the grace of God go I, I am not perfect, I’ve sinned a small amount and sinned against a lot. Best adapt to situation without confrontation ( which you did here by not being aggressive and letting them go in front). If people knowingly break the law, like mobiles and close passes, then it’s fair game to report. Love your work ❤

    4. So human error and mistakes are now part of the channel. You have my full support in terms of pre meditated activities like phone use, Red lights and idiots going the wrong way like Gandalf.
I find it hard to believe that many that comment on here have never pulled out on someone’s right of way by mistake? I have, and I’ll own it, it’s never intended and I will always apologise if possible.

    5. I greatly envy how serious the UK police seem to take driving offences.

In my country unless they're doing over the speed limit the police don't seem to care.

My wife called and reported a drunk driver omce, and the operator was annoyed that she "had no proof the driver was drunk" despise saying they were swerving all pver the road.

The operator eventually jist said "well what do you want us to do? Send a cop out to stop them or something?"

In the end, they refused to send anybody out and seemed genuinely annoyed that someone reported a drunk driver

    6. It’s a big mistake to wait by the kerb at lights The Bikeability taught to children and adults says that it’s safer to wait in primary ie in the middle of the space a car would occupy.

    7. I T-boned an oncoming car that crossed the road Infront of me to get into a side road. I was doing 30mph on a motorcycle, the car driver said she never saw me! Police at the scene said she'll be charged with dangerous driving and lack of care and attention. She opted to go on the driver awareness course, sat in a classroom for an afternoon, meant she skipped any fine or points on her license. I was left with whiplash and concussion that went on for WEEKS. Justice system in this country is a joke!!

    8. I had the same thing happen to me on a roundabout today. I was on my motorcycle about to take the next exit and this idiot starts to enter the roundabout and almost right into the side of me.

    9. I dont see the need to report this person. Any biker knows car A pillars are getting bigger and its an easy mistake to make and is only going to become more frequent. Have you never made a mistake while driving? Also you see him pulling out yet you continue to cycle into the danger….maybe it makes better footage i guess

    10. @CyclingMikey oh wow you were near me. One of my close passes last year I reported was EXACTLY in that spot by Brothers Kebab. A male in a Mercedes nearly killed me going 50MPH through that traffic island. Still waiting for the court date for that as he's challenging it.

    12. You were lucky there, but that driver was rolling well before you got to the junction. Don’t know if your glance behind distracted you but your anticipation could have been better, driver was still a dick though.
It’s not worth being in the right and in the hospital.
Love what you do, but ffs stay safe and away from the loons.
      Yours Capt Hindsight.

    13. I swear, this happens to me almost every day, often multiple times a day. I've said it many times before, but I'm so glad in the UK you can actually report these incidents and the court will actually do something about it. Here in the US, the police are like "but did you die?? Stop wasting my time"

    14. Was in a similar incident recently, but the car came from the left side so I had to swerve into the oncoming traffic lane to avoid collision. If there would have been an oncoming vehicle I would have been hit for sure. Was in a cycle lane and lights on my bike but doesn't matter at all.

    15. God, that was a near miss! This is bad driving, but also kind of a scary example how a momentary lapse in concentration can have bad consequences. A great advertisement for not phone driving and doing your best to concentrate on the road.

    16. All the road markings seems to be literally telling the motorists (and cyclists) that cyclists are meant to ride in the gutter. I still reckon that cycle gutters are an illegal redesignation of a single lane carriageway into a dual carriageway…

    17. I have noticed in the last couple of years that vehicles just pull out of junctions causing me to slow down. I'm driving a car btw. This never used to happen

    18. Everybody wants to be sitting in a Range Rover. Everybody wants to be important. The problem with those SUVS ( I CALL THEM MICKEY MOUSE OFF ROADERS , AS they are just an elevated driving seat) : blind spots on A , B , C pillars huge and observation skills small.

    19. Humans make mistakes. Advanced motorcyclists learn to read the road and behaviours in order to avoid this . Observe the body language of the motorist. There are usually signals of incoming stupidity
