When I bought it in January 2020, the previous owner had already upgraded the crankset to a Shimano 600 and the handlebar to a lightweight Scott thermoplastic one from the 90s. I added the Ergon GP5 grips shortly after buying the bike. I rode it that way until last week when I upgraded the wheelset to wabi lightweight ones. I’m running a 42/16 gear ratio and it rides really well. I hope to get many more years of use out of it.
