However I’m not sure if it’s right as the hub it’s going onto has the grooves in like a shimano hub and this cog doesn’t seem to have grooves in and screws on???
Here is the picture of the original rear cog I’ve just removed.

The threaded one is for a freeWHEEL, the splined one is for a freeHUB. they are just old and new iterations of rear sprockets but are not compatible with each other.

Bought my first ever single speed bike yesterday. Found it a little hard so replacing the 18t on the back with a 20t.
I’ve removed it and waiting on delivery of this…

You’ve purchased the wrong one. That’s a freewheel. You need this or similar.
