Going to go to a we’re just riding to a bike CF to get some lunch basically and um I thought I’d bring you up to date with how I’m getting on with the bike or the scooter I’ve had it for a year now and um it’s been a year of pleasure

Should we say cuz I’m back on two wheels doing what I like doing so uh I just thought I’d uh run you through I’ve got on with it if there’s been any problems or you know do I still like it and all that sort of stuff and

Um see if there’s any use to you you know if you’re thinking of getting us this type of scooter so basically let’s say I bought it a year ago those of you have watched the channel will know why I bought a scooter um basically why I bought a

Scooter was because of uh physical difficulties after an accident and I couldn’t get me leg over a motorbike and I can’t use me foot for changing gear cuz it don’t work properly but um the scooter I can step through quite easily get on it and it’s twist and go

Um so it’s all my needs really you know it’s it’s a little 125 scooter but uh it does the job so um have we had any problems with it no not one not one I mean I know it’s a it’s a newish scooter so you shouldn’t get any problems but you

Can so uh no no problems at all it was stood up uh during the winter cuz I don’t ride in the winter cuz I ride for f fun and riding in the rain and the cold to me isn’t fun um it’s not a means of Transport

It’s a means of pleasure for me so uh I only ride it in the summer so it stood up four 5 months um I was going to put it on me trickle charger but I forgot all about that and I went up there after 5 months went up me

Shed got it out give it a little bit of a wipe down cuz it’s all dusty and horrible and press the button fired up straight away no problems at all as if it’s you know been used every day so um pretty reliable I would say yeah so ridewise um the first ride

Out was Hastings Mayday run which was obviously bck in a may I think it’s the first of May this year actually yeah um that was a nice ride down to Hasting and back went on my own cuz no one else want to go with me but

Uh got down there millions of bikes as usual or thousands of bikes as usual and um had a great day you know just nice to get out and be with like-minded people and uh chatting to strangers about different things you know so that was that was a good good run out then I’ve

Been to the motorbike calf uh once with um friend of mine which I put a video up of which no one seems to watch but there you go um and I’ve been I’ve been down to ro a couple of times on it this year I’ve not

Used it as much as I wanted to this year because I’ve been busy at home basically putting new fences and things up and painting them and what have you so um then at the end of May we are went to uh the Margate meltdown from

Maidstone so uh the route I took was I went uh joined the M2 um and we flew along the M2 I say flew I mean the the scoop was doing it topped out at 69 M hour been quite late to 70 that day but

It was a very windy day and I could fill the old uh rev limiter bouncing off it now and again but um oh it handled that absolutely ably um we were I was flat out down the motorway all the way um lots of the a roads dual carriageway

So was fat out there as well you know and uh yeah it really surprised me how well it handled that ride and um I was very very pleased with that that was great day out down there as well I say um couple of times to Ry

Which I didn’t film CU it was just a off the cuff thing just went out ended up in r i could do and then we got this one one today which we’re going to the motorbike CF again with will I think that’s the first time that I’ve been to the motorbike CF

With will this year been down hting with him once on the bikes but not to the calf so yeah and it’s supposed to be about the bike not be r in it um I waffle on a bit sometimes yeah the bike has been or the scooter has been absolutely bloody

Marvelous it’s not Mr a Beat it you know it does everything it says on the tin really and uh you couldn’t want for a better little scoot I’ll tell you tell you that for nothing oh could do some better roads but scoop’s fine um very pleased with it it’s you know

Sometimes I think oh could do have a little bit more power but I don’t really need more power you know I S he was doing 69 flat out it does uh you do feel the lack of power sometimes when you’re going up a hill you know so you start start at the

Bottom of the hill it’s 55 or something time you get to the top you’re doing 45 but it don’t hold anyone up really they want to overtake they can but so it’s it’s got a tiny lack of power on Hills but other than that it’s absolutely superb what uh I want it for

You know I’m I’m not looking to get me a knee down or go racing anywhere so no six my e perfectly so yeah it’s it’s been a great look scoot um so reliable economical probably I’m not R than it um you know to get the best economics out of it so I probably

Get I’d say I’ll probably get about 100 m a gallon um but on the website I think it says it you know it could do 120 but I’m I’m sure that’s a lot of sort of town riding where you’re using the start stop and all that sort of thing but I don’t

I’ve got that turned off don’t prob using it so so yeah economical very very pleased with that you know especially For What the way I use it get 100 m a gallon and you’re flat out most of the time so yeah it’s very good for that handling

Brilliant it is a scoop but it does handle like a a bike um cuz it’s got the bigger Wheels it it you know handles like a motorbike which is nice it’s a smooth ride cuz it’s got the bigger Wheels once again it Smooths out the bumps in the road a bit doesn’t

SM smooth hot hes out obviously but it’s um quite a smooth relaxing ride excuse me yeah so it’s you know it’s a nice comfortable ride then you can do a stay on most of my rides are over sort of 35 Mi each way so uh comfortable enough for

Doing that you could probably do 100 miles on it and still be comfortable the seats the seat’s not squishy but it’s um squishy enough it’s it’s probably on the firm side of squishy but it is just comfortable you don’t get I don’t get bmake or nothing I mean I’ve been

On I’ve had lots of bikes in the past and lots of bikes I’ve had they give me a num bum after an hour but this doesn’t so that’s pretty good uh brakes are absolutely phenomenal ABS front and back it’s a dual Channel ABS by Bosch and uh they’ve got some

Stopping power I know it’s only a light little thing but they do anchor you up when you you know you need to stop quick so no problem with them um what else is there we done handling we done brakes um that’s about it really I’ll say it’s just been a wonderful thing

Um I’ve probably had as much fun on this as I’ve had on any other the bikes I’ve had really you know because uh because it’s not got the power and the speed you sort of have to go into Corners just a little bit quicker on a

125 and use a momentum to get you around but that makes riding fun really so yeah that’s that’s all right uh service wise I’ve had one service on it at the 600 M marker um that cost me I think it’s 60 quid could have done it myself but I

Thought as it’s newish I better uh get at least one um I don’t do stamps in the book it’s all done electronically so you get little certificate so it’s been done so uh yeah well bet get one done and then I can do me old changes and things like that myself afterwards

But I didn’t think I 60 quid was a lot of money really they they checked everything on it not you know didn’t just do an all change as I off you go checked all the belts and the rollers and all that sort of stuff um and just made sure I think was

Working nicely so uh yeah worth worth having done um weather protection’s quite good it’s not not the best of a scooter cuz it’s got no screen I mean you can fit a screen but um I think it makes them look bit like old man scooters so

I’ve not added a screen I mean I’ve been used to riding naked bikes anyway so I don’t mind the wind in the chest sort of thing um I’ve been out in the rain on it I’ve been caught a couple three times in the rain um and the leg Shields do keep the rain

Off you when you’re going on but obviously doesn’t stop the rain falling on the top of your legs but uh you know it’s it’s quite a pretty good protection on it uh suspension suspension is very good I think for a scooter um the front suspension is uh telescopic faults

Obviously and the rear is just two um shocker bus but yeah it I always imagine scooters sort of bouncy around corners cuz they’re quite soft normally but um this is sort of sou on the stiff side so it does tend mostly to hold the line you put it through it

Goes around nicely so suspension is pretty good the um the back can be a bit crushy sometimes cuz it’s cuz it’s only dual Shockers always but hey ho you know you can’t have everything in one package but you could but you prob plett Fortune for it would you know if you had

Monoshock and all that sort of thing on it but it doesn’t need it it it does what it does and it is a very very good scooter and I’ve been absolutely I can’t say how pleased I’ve been with it it’s just been a great little scooter or bike as I

Call it cuz it is it’s more like a bike than a scooter um you know cuz it’s got the bigger Wheels it just rides that one the only thing you ain’t got is a tank between your legs but hey ho so uh that’s basically it after a

Year of owner ship would I buy one again yes I would yep I certainly would you know if I was now looking for a scooter and uh I knew what I knew now then yeah I would definitely rush out and buy one cuz it is the scooter that fits my needs

Perfectly I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea it’s not everyone’s look of a scooter especially for younger people they want the sporty looking scooters but um for me it it looks more like a bike and coming from a biking background is what suits me so uh that’s why I went for this

Honest with you no problems whatsoever ticks all the boxes um economical reliable build quality is as good as anyone out there you know um you know you compare it to Hondas and Yamahas and all that the build qualty is just good if not better than them
