[Applause] It is green lights it is go go go it is a massive kick out from the line at the moment by new house we have got a big pack of riders a great start by TBO he’s moved up into third place at the moment congestion on the corner van art in

About 18th position I think V’s in WoW 28th position and that’s been a long time since we’ve called him that far down on to the climb now this is long it is really actually quite steep but this is where if you’ve got the power you can

Make a move and no sooner said than done uh Matthew vander’s decided yeah I don’t want to be back in here tied to make a move up well the white World Champ skin suit in there no mistaking vandero he threads the eye of the needle he comes through

Another two places thank you very much while van the express trains left the station look at the speed up here but he’s chasing Felipe o I think van art just got out drag St there by Felipe o up the straight that’s something to put in the momento book as vandero makes

About another three places on that climb oh van has gone to the front now I thought Aus was going to make the most of having the chance to lead the race out here but van had other ideas they both came either side now vanard bunny hopping over ronal har choosing to run

There the world champion came here as a hot hot favorite but he own a mission lots of trading in the preceding weeks but look at the kick coming again well Felipe ‘s not going by Vander Paul is he going to make this on one climb is he

Going to close this down I wish we had a speed gun at the top of that c because we’d be handing out speeding tickets of Plenty to Matthew vandero what a kick up there that is going to move him into almost the position he can get on the

Back of the group he’s nearly there well but looking like he’s at his best kicking out those Corners poting the power down he’s not just sat there riding it up through a we AG go you can see at the moment fastest man on course Matthew vandero 5 Seconds faster that oh

Mistake there by Ellie isabe as he’s just dropped off the back and I think he’s feeling the pressure a little bit pick leading the charge here vona he’s almost on his heels then it’s ronart another Rider who is right up in the mix with new house now ell is but is in for

A bike change must have been a problem with that bike May well be in a punct you didn’t quite get to see that on the way through into the S to go if you are want vanard how much are you going to be saving getting ready for the big climb

But out moves to one side he doesn’t want to be making the running for somebody to take a run at him now comes the wind up vanar starts to put the pressure on Van turn I think he’s just boxing vle in there that was a neat boxing in tactic they can’t afford to

Hang around too long because T trying to get back to the leaders as is Ellie isabe but all of a sudden we have 10 Riders back together again who’s going to be on that Podium will vandero be right up there lots of riders going very very well here maybe you haven’t done the

Work as vandero has an issue on that turn well what’s happened to Matthew vandero he’s got a long record he’s dropped right the way down he came through that looks like it been down here we go just going to get a replay we see the bite now that surely he’s been

Down on on the floor what happened there that is a big one and that could well have cost him he is a bit on a Scamper up those stairs he’s got hold of That World Cup jersey vour now on the front and look at this vour now he’s starting

To wind this up because he knows it’s going to come here comes the move Vernard has gone on the left hand side he threw it towards the barriers and look at the explosive power this is a man who can win a sprit stage in the tour def France you know you’re up

Against it in a Sprint he’s just unleashing it on the upheld clim here he’s going to take that right handed into the woods with a gap they went into that straight together that Gap has opened a look at that that is what you call being smart oh no and he’s down he

Shows not to buny H them and he DS it trying to re out off the sand and it’s allow that turn out to get gets the momentum he’s lost the Shad he’s hit the deck and this is on the run into the corner talk about risking it well oh

Really really pushing it to the limit he’s going to come down the straight he’s going to take Sur W going to break into a smell he took it to the line what not your Victor in round number 13 here in B it is going to be vanor now who

Comes through in second and it’s going TBO who takes third place on the podium fourth place for elizabe fifth place for Matthew V

    1. Imagine what it must feel like to be a pro, going full gas, mouth hanging open, legs burning, throwing the bike all over the place trying desperately to hang on to a wheel… and here comes MvdP, mouth closed, zero concern, like he's out on a Sunday coffee stop ride, as he blasts by you like you're standing still.

    2. WvA was much smarter and more efficient with his passing. Instead of just throwing watt-bombs repeatedly and getting tired, he was creative and made passes in parts of the track that no one else did for very little energy.

    3. Thank you for the UCI broadcast. However, I think it is a shame that with a round of this packed and cameras everywhere, we can not have the most important "crash" to see which cost MVDP ithe first place. Why?
