In France the wind is 250 km/h. Cyclone Belal hits Reunion Island

At 10 a.m. local time, Tropical Cyclone Belal struck Reunion Island after passing the eye wall, first in northern Reunion, France.
He must cross the island from side to side and evacuate to the southeast at the end of the day. In the coming hours, the entire island will be under the influence of a cyclone.
About 3,500 consumers on the island were left without electricity, especially in the Langevin, Tampon and La Saline sectors. Around 1,600 people are also without water in Hellburg, in Salazi.

The public was asked to self-isolate from Sunday until Tuesday morning.
The prefecture placed the island on purple alert (the highest level) overnight from Sunday to Monday.
According to the government, 2,000 firefighters have been mobilized on the scene.
