    How much is your 50p coin worth in 2024 I’ll give the average selling price for a circulated coin these are all commemorative coins you might find in your change so no Shields or branas there’s 74 of them so let’s go oh and there in no particular order first up is

    Olympic boxing all the Olympic 50 P coins were minted to celebrate the 2012 London Olympics they were released and dated the year before in 2011 this one is by sh ay just over 2 million were minted and it’s worth around £2 next we have jamaa puddled duck this is from the

    Bitrix Potter series uh this one is from 2016 this was designed by Emma Noble and even though again just over 2 million this one is very collectible and selling for around £9 this is Olympic badminton by Emma Kelly 2.1 million of this one minted and it’s valued

    Around2 now we have WWF originally this stood for World Wildlife Fund but now it stands for worldwide fund for nature designed by artist Matthew Dent 3.4 million of this one were minted but it’s a very popular coin and selling for around £3 ah the first of the Paddington Bear

    50 pen is this one is Paddington at the station and that’s a king’s cross station there designed by artist David napton just over 5 million of this one minted the Paddington are very collectible and and it’s selling for around four times face value at £2 and yeah I know it’s Paddington Station

    £350 now we’ve got Olympic Aquatics by Jonathan Ola just over 2,100,000 of these ones were minted and its value is around £2 but look out for one with Jonathan oli’s original design with lines on the swimmer’s face it’s estimated only 600 of these were minted and there could be some still out there

    Somewhere if you find one it’s going to be worth around £1,000 right Olympic volleyball this one was designed by Daniela boothman and has a mintage figure of 2.1 million and is selling for around £2 this is my favorite design of the Olympic 50ps and now we have the Queen’s Memorial 50p

    Coin this design by Edgar Fuller and cesil Thomas originally appeared on the 1953 commemorative Crown released for Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation the only difference is the year originally it was 1953 and this one is 2022 9.6 million were so only 50 for this face value next

    And only just over 1.1 million were minted and the average selling price is £12 so that’s one of the scarcer ones to look out for next one is team GB this was minted to Mark Great Britain’s participation in the 2016 Olympics which was held in Rio wasn’t it yeah Rio de

    Janeiro nearly forgot where it was then the designer is Peter Blake but this coin has a mintage figure of over 6 million so it’s only going to be worth 50 squirrel nutkin now quite highly minted at 5 million but because it’s a Potter I’d say1 for this

    One okay we have public libraries this 50 P minted in 2000 commemorates 150 years since the 1850 Public Library act it was designed by Mary Milner Dickens and has a mintage figure of over 11 million so it’s only going to be worth face value 50 another vitrix Potter by

    Emma Noble Tom kitten this time 92 million were produced but because it’s a Potter just over face value 75 look at his eyes they’re really scary aren’t they oh my God another bitrix Potter this time it’s Peter Rabbit 2018 this is a much lower minted coin just 1,400,000

    50 P it’s only going to be worth 50 p face value and another Olympic this time it’s Olympic cycling this one was designed by Theo crutchley Mac and just over 2 million were produced and this one has a selling price of £150 okay lastly we have the Atlantic

    Salmon we don’t have a designer for this it just says real Min design team now this isn’t a commemorative this is a definitive this is going to be the standard design of the reverse of the 50 P coin they are starting to turn up in people’s change they are dated 2023 at

    The moment they’re selling on eBay at around £3 to4 but I think that price will come down we don’t know the mintage figure at the moment but personally I think it’s going to be a high one over 5 million a lot of people think it’s going
