A small walk to Former Clifton Colliery Site and River Leen Outfall?
(Where it flows into River Trent)

So I’m on the embankment well the embankments down there yeah this is Riverside School here Wicks just below behind there and the river sorry the river obviously the river Trent but the bridge crosses over there to Wolford uh Village that I might go and have a look at in a minute but right
Here guys is where the river lean comes out the river lean imagine that right here and we’re near the old cery site as well so yeah basically where I am now and yeah basically right here around here was where the old Clifton cery site was right here guys
And I will be coming back here to do a bigger video a longer video cuz I will go across the other side to Wolford church so Wolford Village Church which is over there and as I say I’ll go across finding where everything is but right here somewhere along here was
Where the old Cy was so just over there is where I saw the lean the outlet there so I’m assuming that the lean comes under here and goes in that direction I am looking for a nature reserve that I believe is at the end there where the trees are so let’s go
Have a giddy Ganda right so I found so you can’t go through there but I found the Lin that is the Lin and it goes up there to to that nature reserve which I think is just here and as I showed you before the outlet is over [Applause] There but yeah basically guys what I’m going to do at some point here is I’m going to walk along where I’ve just been today I’m going to head in that direction towards I think it’s called Kings Meadow Nature Reserve I think that’s down there just found the lean
Here the same lean that I’ve had on other videos when I’ve been up newad ways um up near newad Abby and limby and all that that is the same riverine and I’ve just come to see where it comes out near the Trent and I’m just going to head down there there cuz I’m
Going to just walk along there see what we can find down there follow Me right then I have arrived at King’s is it King’s Nature Reserve something like that it’s definitely around here that’s the lean curious to know what was around here before why is this a nature reserve is it just because it’s part of the river lean Valley or what right so it’s actually called
King’s uh King’s Meadow Nature Reserve something like that uh and the riverine obviously comes under here right where we are uh and there we have it now it’s obviously predominantly most of it is all factories around this area now but there’s uh quite a few little things to see
So I’m having a giddy Gand today I’m having a look around uh little Bridge here I’m assuming don’t think the river lean comes under here but there might be a brook here I don’t know actually I don’t know don’t think there’s anything here why is there aook then no idea no
Idea don’t know let’s go back this way Again bit of information there about the river lean just behind there but we already know that the riverine goes along here CU we just showed you it’s down here on the left hand side as you can see down there wonder how high it was recently with the
