Crossing The European Continent – Oslo [Norway] to Costa Blanca [Spain] EP12

One late evening, a crazy thought came to me. “What if I go to Spain tomorrow morning?” Next morning I woke up early and packed my bike with tent and food for 3 days in 30 minutes. Next thing I knew, I was on my way crossing the european continent driving from Oslo Norway to Costa Blanca Spain. Acting on impuls, as usual I don´t plan much. Passport, money and helmet, and I am on my way. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France and Spain. But will my 2007 Harley Davidson Road King manage a distance of 3460 kilometers? I am travelling alone and if anything goes wrong, few people will notice!

Finally! I have reached the french border. After a 7 minutes involuntarily morning workout by backing out my Road King uphill to make the camp barrier open I realize that the weather is fantastic, but the heat force me to stick to highways. I am thrilled by french highways. They are more expensive but I think it is worth it. 5 minutes in France and I am HAPPY!

Shhh… ahh… good morning sports that was not ment for motorcycles good morning! phew that´s the stupidest system I´ve ever seen I had to back the motorbike in and out We are ready for France and Spain It´s gonna be a fantastic day, the sun is already…. like REALLY warm like Spain warm [laughter]

Let´s hit back on the autobahn Rock on! Let´s start with some gas [laughter] I´m so tired But the german is going better Probably because I don´t speak german at all. [laughter] I went straight for english not bad Okay… the tank is full The GPS says that we are at camp already at 15:40

Exciting I don´t belive it because I need to eat and… fill the tank and drive the wrong way and everything If that´s true.. I will go much further… maybe all the way I was thinking about this last night when you got so few days… I got three days

And driving around like a maniac on small roads in France Don´t do any good I get too tired I need to get to Spain and do some work so… maybe on the way up again I will drive up later to Norway and I have a friend in Munich

I can talk about that later whooh… What a perfect day! We´re entering France Welcome to France! It´s beautiful here! It´s so clean and the roads are so good! And I´ve only been in France for 5 minutes I´m happy! So far

I have a feeling it´s important that I have this ticket when I get off this highway [evil laughter] Else I probably would have to do the dishes!
