Happy New Year everyone and welcome to theme park worldwide I hope that 2024 is an amazing year for each and every one of you it really is going to be a massive year for theme parks especially here in the UK there is so much happening right on our doorsteps this

Year and there’s so much to be excited for and we cannot wait for the theme parks to all open here and of course experience the new additions for 2024 in this video I’m going to be counting down the top six new ryen experiences opening at UK them Parks this year from brand

New roller coasters to reimagined attractions there’s so much going on to look forward to and wherever you’re based here in the UK you’re not going to be too far away from getting in on the action and experiencing some of these new additions let’s get started then by

Talking about the first of these new experiences and that is Shockwave reimagined at dayon Mana now Shockwave has been the UK’s only standup roller coaster since it started operating 30 years ago back in 19 1994 and yeah over the years it’s given millions of rides to people a thrilling standup experience

That many people did enjoy however over its latter years it did start to become very uncomfortable a little bit rough in places not too bad uh but more uncomfortable it was showing its age and with great and Mana being a very changing Park changing their direction

To be more of a family focused Park away from the big Thrills a decision was made to reimagine the ride for 2024 that’s on going right now it’s going to be having a brand new train um firstly for this so yeah we don’t know all the details of

This yet but it will feature one brand new train going on to the ride and yeah with this it’s going to completely change the experience because it will be a sit down coaster now 30 might be thinking hang on a minute surely that takes away from it you know it was a

Standup coaster before I think with the way that Dr and Manor are going now it’s more of a family based Park and away from the big Thrills changing it to a sit down uh was a good decision for them um in my opinion as much as it won’t be

As unique anymore that it’s not a standup it’ll be more comfortable it be more enjoyable and the biggest part of this is the fact that it’s actually going to lower the height restriction down from 1.4 um which for Dron Mana is a big deal so yeah other people um

Who’ve never been able to experience that ride before will now be able to enjoy it see as much as it is sad that we’re losing the stand of I think it’s the right direction for the park it’s the right time to do it and they’re literally not just you know changing the

Train the ride is actually having a rename it’s having some upgraded theming as well and yeah hopefully we’ll find out more details on that soon a few years ago Dr and Mana did open Adventure Cove where they retheme that whole area they put in the wave swinger some other

New additions like a play area some more theming uh and of course the Rapids reopening so I think the whole area is going to come together really nicely and I look forward to seeing what they do with shock wve but yeah it’s been reimagined we don’t know any more

Details than that just yet however it is expected to be ready for the start of the season in March so yeah only a few months too until we’re going to be experiencing that moving on then into fifth place and that is a new ride coming to Adventure Island in south end

This is a brand new drop tower that’s going to be 125t tall it’s going to be manufactured by S SPF Visa a company that have built lots of drop Towers they built Croc drop for example at chesington along with that magma at Porton Park together familiar here in the UK and around the

World for building drop towers and also lots of flat rides as well and roller coasters um so SP SPF they build a lot of Rise they’ve got a lot of experience in that industry and their drop towers that they do are great fun um so yeah I’m looking forward to seeing this and

Exactly what cycle it’s going to run on because that can determine whether or not it’s going to be more of a family based attraction or thrill based um I’m hoping it’s going to be more thrill based especially with Adventure Island um they’ve got a great mix of

Attractions uh but yeah I think with this one they’re going to want to run it on a really good cycle or possibly they might change the cycle and because basically with the SPF Towers you can really change the ride experience dramatically um if you want to run it on

A slower cycle or want to run it with more force and dropping down faster um so I’ll be really interested to see exactly how it’s going to run but still 125 foot it’s going to be the tallest ride at the park it’s just a little bit taller than the city wheel that they

Opened a couple of years ago um so yeah you’re going to get some great views South End on sea uh really nice area I love looking out over the water there anyway uh and all over the kind of City I want to say town all over the city U

That it became a couple of years ago and yeah there’s some great views of the park you’ll see because Adventure Island it’s in two parts you know so you’ve got this side where the wheel is youve got a lot of rides there axis one of the dark

Rides is there and then the other side where you’ve got rage and lots of other attractions so you’re going to get a view of everything from upon this Drop Tower and it’s got 16 seats and I reckon it’ll spin as well so you can really see um all the 360 degree panoramic views

Over Adventure Island but yeah it’s going to be the tallest ride at Adventure Island and yeah that’s opening uh unnamed at the moment but will be opening this year at the park moving on then to the fourth place place and that is mini figure Speedways this is a set

Of new jeweling roller coasters that I’m looking forward to for legol L Windsor with this ride it is long overdue in my opinion The Parkers needed a new roller coaster and especially from a capacity point of view the fact they’ve gone with the dueling coaster um is a great

Decision with this it’s going to be two completely separate tracks so yeah two coaster credits if you count how many coasters you’ve been on and they will interact with each other various drops and helixes the track’s almost complete now actually you’ve got that lovely blue and red track um kind of intertwining

With each other it’s built on the hillside it looks really good from what we can see and of course it’s a family ride with it being at Legoland but I think it’ll be one of the best rides at the park possibly one of the best coasters in a Legoland Park actually as

Well and just the location I think is really going to add to this up on the hillside and of course that capacity the dragon is the biggest coaster that they’ve got there and yeah many years ago du to like sound complaints they had to remove another family coaster so

Since then they’ve been crying out for a new coaster like this so yeah I’m looking forward to it it’s been built by zero as well uh they build lots of family coasters one of the best family coaster manufacturers out there you see so many of the zero tiv models around

Europe and yeah this will be slightly more thrilling than a a zero tiv so yeah I’m really looking forward to that minifigure Speedway in terms of the theme based on the Lego Minifigures seems like a big Billboard’s going up as well we’ll have to get back and have a

Look at the construction down there at Legoland Windsor again very soon right then into third place of what I’m most excited for this year it’s back to Dayton Mana big year for Drayton this year the currently unnamed new roller coaster which is about to start vertical construction very soon actually all the

Groundw work’s been completed now and yeah we’re going to start seeing this coaster go up over the next few weeks which I’m really looking forward to seeing and yeah the color scheme’s really nice like you got the gold track on there it’s going to be part of a new

Themed area looks like a wild west area from all the theming that’s been going in and yeah hopefully we hear some more official details on this soon it’s the one project now in the UK we don’t know much about for this year and I think the fact we’re now in January hopefully

We’re going to start hearing a bit more soon about this ride to help build up the hype for it but yeah it’s going to be manufactured by interman Swiss company Park have worked with interman a lot over the years and they are a great manufacturer in fact into and all my

Favorite manufacturer out there worldwide they’ve built some amazing thrill rides and family coasters too you got to look at 13 at Alton Towers Hagrid’s magical creatures motorbike Adventure at the Universal Orlando resort interin have built some amazing attractions so yeah it’s going to be really good to see this new coaster

Coming to Dayton it’s got a lift it’s got a launch we know it’s going to have some good theming around but in terms of the layout we still haven’t seen it yet so it’s a bit of a mystery a bit of a surprise even though it’s going to be

Opening at some point this year probably not going to be for the start of the Season maybe a little bit later on with this one I’m expecting but it’s currently unnamed however it looks like a wild west area um possibly could be like gold mine theme with the track

Color that we’ve got going on there but again we’re still waiting on more official details from Dayton Mana but it has kind of added to the speculation in a way the fact we don’t know much about it however I can’t wait to just now you know the parts will release all the

Details and really start building up that hype and anticipation alongside all of the other projects right then into second place of what I’m most excited for this year new rides in the UK this another reimagined ride but of course an absolute classic Nemesis at ton Towers

So the ride um closed at the end of the 2022 season season it was shut throughout 2023 last year and is about to reopen this year uh of course Nemesis at Alton Towers it’s been reborn and yeah with this they completely replaced the track all the supports along with

That too we’ve actually seen a change in the color scheme and the theme has been changed for this initially we didn’t think much was going to be changing theming wise if you remember back to when this planet application was put in we didn’t really expect a lot of theming

Changes but I’d imagine from a marketing point of view that was the big reason for them changing the color scheme changing the theme and yeah we’re seeing this kind of update to forbidden Valley this updated storyline as you might have seen our latest Nemesis video we’ve got

A helicopter now by the stall turn along with that shipping container going into place now which looks like you’re possibly going to walk through uh big changes to the q line providing some amazing views of Nemesis and of course yeah the brand new color scheme and

Trains that we’ve got on there as well so it’s a big year for Nemesis and yeah I am very excited for it it’s an iconic ride it opened originally back in 1994 B&M in vir coaster for inversions and yeah it’s all dug down into a big Quarry

Pit that was excavated just to build Nemesis all because of Alton Towers and how they’re not allowed to build above the tree height and the fact they dug down and spent a fortune on that like I find it fascinating and Oblivion too of course you know how that was so dug down

Into the ground um but so much money was spent on doing that well that’s what makes it one of the most iconic and best roller coasters anywhere in the World Nemesis it’s back it’s been reborn and yeah that’s going to be possibly ready for the start of the Season as far as we

Know so yeah I’m looking forward again to hearing more it’s going a bit quiet from a marketing point of view we’re doing really good with all the official kind of videos and posts and then over the past few months since the end of the season there’s just been nothing so I’m

Really hoping they start building it up again but still we’ll keep bringing you more updates and we’re very excited for it here at theme park worldwide and I know many of you are too in first place then what I’m excited for the most and the biggest addition to the UK in many

Many years it is H peria at Park the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster we’re talking speeds of over 80 mph currently the UK’s tallest coaster um is the big one at Blackpool pleasure Beach and it’s going to be topping that at 236 feet and yeah the fastest coaster

Stealth at the moment also at thought Park um so it’s going to be topping that we don’t know the exact top speed yet uh but I’d imagine we’re going to find out very very soon we’re going to be riding all of these this year but hyperia is up

There at the top uh in terms of the elements on this it looks crazy you’re going to come straight down that drop twisting round up into them inversions which will be great some fantastic air time the views across the park and then that outward Bank kind of turn which

Looks incredible um it really does along with that some fantastic other moments of air time twisty transitions I’m really excited for it my one concern is still the length I think for the height of the coaster um it is on the shorter side and I know there’s other short

Coats out there Nemesis being one of them and it’s a brilliant ride other rides at TH Park quite short butter awesome um like the Swarm for example but I think for me the fact that this is so tall and it’s got a massive lift de you know it’s just going to feel a

Little bit too short at the end but still I am very excited for it out of everything open in the UK that’s what I’m most excited for and I can’t wait to ride it later this year how exciting that we’ve got all this right on our doorstep you know I’ve been filming

These videos for all these years I don’t think I’ve ever done a video quite like this with all the new UK things that are happening and you’ve got to think these are things that are just confirmed there’s actually a few other projects at other parks that may happen for this

Year as well um but haven’t been fully confirmed yet so I thought we’ll keep this to things that we know 100% happening in 2024 at theme parked in the UK but like I just ranked them there in an order of the top six I’d like you to
