    Off the southernmost part of England this Island  in English channel towards France , was residence of Dinasaur 250 million years ago .

    “Fossils”  can still be found and takes you through the journey millions of years ago on this fascinating  Dinosaur Island  . 

    The  Osborne House  has history where Queen Victoria died . It was built in 1845 as private Royal residence of Victoria and Albert in Italian style . Everything in it is intact and one can see the lifestyle of that era when Queen Victoria was the Empress of India !   The house was given to trust in 1902 by Prince Albert V11, though the Queen had asked it to remain in Family . The trust maintains it with tickets for public entry . 

    How can you not be happily surprised and awed Very old Hansel and gretal like old Thatched houses in villages which seems to be out of pages of 11- 13th century like the Godshill village town  ! The time has stood still here . 

    There are  11th century many churches  which draws you to era of Nomads and Romans . 

    A holiday destination preferred by Romans  in 1st century AD due to Temperate climate . 

    By boats from Portsmouth and by hovercraft Isles of wight can be accessed  .  Shanklin beach and  walking or cycling through diverse  forest and vegetation is preferred by English holiday makers  . 

    Ryde , Shanklin , Yarmouth , Cowes  are towns . The step back in time is the Godshill with mediaeval church and Thatched cottages and Cute tearooms ! 

    There’s a  Glass blowing factory where one can watch artisans glass blowing and making beautiful glassware just like Morena  . I bought a black orchid shaped vade with 24 k gold floating like stars around blackhole in galaxy .

     The ” needles ” the chalk rock formation  arising from sea 30 m above sea level  , a unique landscape which awes all . 

    It is where the first Wireless Telegraph station in 1987 which carried out pioneering experiments 
    by MARCONI .

    One can have wine tasting in  Wineyards too  .

    The Blackgang  is the oldest amusement park of England built in 1843 ! 

    There are fort , embakments , fishing boats around the coast with lighthouses . 

    Great place  for breaks  to just relax , beach , sports , cycle and walk .
