Cliff and Aly and we go from this they hasn’t got the well factor from to this well it is a w it is a that’s all I’ve heard since since you’ve arrived at this properties wow wow wow wow wow I get fonded of the furniture in this luxury
Villa we’re going to call this Bene chair from now on okay Mariana that sound all right but at the end of the day do I find my house hunters their Perfect Place in the Sun Pi the box it’s a Fab one isn’t it Absolutely cliff and Allison had their first date in a hotel restaurant off of the A1 luckily since then they’ve expanded their Horizons and traveled the world and even got married in beautiful macious they are now looking for a new adventure though and want to find a home
Where they can spend most of the Year here on their favorite Greek island of cre retired Royal male worker cliff and painter and decorator Ali who live in Lincolnshire have been together for more than a decade we met on the internet um about 11 years ago and we’ve been married eight years now
Uh and they’ve been really good best thing we’ve ever done really as far as I’m concerned great they have a budget of £215,000 to buy a holiday home where they’re planning to spend long periods of time with enough room for their combined six children and five grandchildren to come and stay it’s like
About n months of the year we’ like to be out there I think this is going to be really nice for us rather than cold Winters so exciting is it that you think you can fly direct to Creek from the UK in around 4 hours to either of its two international airports heracleon
In the center of the island or Hana in the west which is where we’ll be basing our house hunt creit is the largest and most southernly of all the Greek Islands with a population of more than 600,000 people they’re joined by almost 3 million tourists each year drawn by the

Nice are you ready to go and see our first property which is only 9 minutes from here come on fantastic that 9-minute drive takes us to the small village of Dar marori there are only 30 properties here mostly owned by xats rather than locals being close
To the coast and around half an hour from the busy and bustling city of Hana makes it a fairly pricey area so with my first place I’ve had to go towards the top end of alien Cliffs wiggle Room look at the size of this driveway leading down to our very first property no less what do you think from the front yeah really nice love the stone love the stone love the balcony this is a two-bedroom one and a half bathroom property okay owned by a Belgian couple they’ve had their
Grandchildren staying here as well so what they’ve uh what they’ve got is lots of security gates and and it’s all been set up for the family basically okay super it’s on the market for just under $200 £ 38,000 okay the lady uh and gentleman that are selling it they they’re willing
To move a little bit but I mean a fraction okay okay let’s go and have a look shall we follow me this modern Stone Villa has a stunning infinity pool a covered Courtyards and a big balcony all with wonderful views of the countryside as well as a snippet of sea inside there’s
An open plan living dining and kitchen space for with an adjoining sun room as well as a downstairs WC upstairs there are two bedrooms both of which open to the balcony and the shower room now open plan cuz you asked for open plan what do you think of this yeah
Very nice it’s really nice it’s uh very well built by the looks of it yeah I like the mixture of the stone and the render and it’s it’s nice and bright yeah very nice kitchen I mean sizewise how is it for you sizewise the layout’s good but size little bit smaller perhaps

Don’t think we’ll be taking a dip today cuz it’s a little bit choppy the sea is not usually this R trust me it’s usually calm wonderful for snorkeling what makes a good beach for you boat would you say quite secluded like this so what difference will having in the boat make

£215,000 with an additional 25,000 wiggle room love the outside space at this Stone Villa but they thought it was a bit snug on the inside so I don’t think either of them are planning a celebratory jig just yet it also means that I’m looking for a more spacious
Place with my second property in the quiet Village of tone which is about 10 minutes drive from the nearest beach with prices on the coast having rocketed in recent years nearby Villages like this have become increasingly popular with second homeowners so I’ve had to go touch over Ali and Cliff’s wiggle room
Here though the agent said there’s a bit of movement his end as well now up the hill in this lovely Village called pone is our second property just there okay all in it’s very pretty this one isn’t it yes style-wise very different to our last
Property what did you make of it I like the Garden area I like the planting established trees looks it looks loved I’m glad you said that because a lot of love has gone into this house and the the owner had this built in 2004 she moved out in 2010 and extended it in
2014 into a fored 2 bathroom detached property it’s been on the market for 4 months it’s it’s priced at just over £245 12,000 which I know has pushed us over the top of the budget but the agent has told us there’s definitely room for negotiation on this yeah does that make

Not the right one oh okay I don’t think it gives us the the sort of open plan that we’re looking for and and because it’s quite topheavy so far as budget goes um how much we would be able to do to it within our budget
Okay we don’t think it that I mean that totally me makes sense out of all these elements to the search from the open plan layout the location the pull the Finish what is going to take precedence for you both would you say location so near a

Who are in search of their dream home not only for them but their entire family and although we do have a contender in our first house I fail to impress with the second so I’m aiming for Perfection with my third my house hunters who have a budget of £215,000

Bit of life and solve to it as well yeah the house itself is two bed is a one bath again I’m afraid but it does have a lovely pool overlooking that view okay yeah pricewise it’s just under 233,000 okay been on the market for four months
And our lovely agent has told us that she does believe You’ get it for around 255,000 so the top of your budget without going really into the wiggle room it’s um it’s a pocket rocket let’s go and have a look okay this Villa has a pool area with loads of room for sunbeds
As well as a balcony with great views inside there’s an open plan living dining and kitchen space as well as two bedrooms both of which open onto the balcony and a bathroom right here we come not a bad entrance I say this more like it oh good yeah you know stepping

Lake cores here Beauty Spot on the island in fact the only fresh water lake in Creed what you reckon beautiful yeah it is absolutely gorgeous it’s a great family spot with the grandkids like this they would love this especially the pedalos well if you want to take a
Pedalo out it’s only about £ 13 an hour which I think is great value and there’s loads of wildlife here as well so what you could possibly do with the grandkids is create a list of all the wildlife and they can bot it on the boat with a pair
Of binoculars or something like that they would love that absolutely be nice to have a place here really wouldn’t it is it here no it’s a 4minute walk come on let’s go and see it great property prices close to the lake have taken a bit of a dive in the past
Couple of years which makes this the most affordable area we’ve visited so far despite being so close to the fresh water and less than 15 minutes drive from the salty kind at the coast I found alien Cliff somewhere I reckon they’ll really like for just a tiny wiy bit over
Budget told you it was close didn’t I how about this c yeah I like the mixture of uh the render and the Old Stone um I like all the plants going up the side what’s appealing here um it looks in good condition it looks well maintained doesn’t it um I like the
Style yeah and I like where it is three bedrooms two bathrooms modern kitchen big living space big big living space that’s what we do B and thepool anderol and thepool now pricewise this is this is great actually it’s on the market for just over 255,000 which is bang on your budget yep
Yep money’s always a consideration obviously off you pop get inside and I’ll see you when you’re done lovely thanks man oh there you go I think that was a good reaction I’m not quite sure it’s got everything they want still no dance just going to go scratch my
Head this house has a Courtyard at the front and a long thin pool at the back along with a garden plus a big balcony with mountain views inside there’s a spacious living and dining room and a separate kitchen plus a bedroom and a shower room downstairs upstairs there
The main bedroom which open opens onto the balcony a second bedroom and a family bathroom oh this a lot better oh yeah this is a good size Cliff yeah yeah yeah this is so much wider and longer more space yeah we could see that the kids
Being in here and not being too cramped it takes a lot of boxes doesn’t it at the moment yeah much better yeah right what’s the bedroom downstairs bed bedroom oh good okay it could be anything really could be a a dining room this is um yeah ra
Blood walk so that would come down quite easily and that would really open up his space yeah we have that open plan living that we’re talking about big enough yeah definitely big enough it’s light and it’s Airy yeah okay it’s got a lot of positive just

The inside space and I think I’ve given them that with this house which is on the market for just over £255,000 their initial reaction to it seems pretty positive with a few reservations and I’m hoping that now they’ve seen everything it has to work off I’m going to be bagging myself another

Really overlooked obviously if you don’t like it if you don’t like it but I I would have thought oh we could do a little bit of screening here here and there you know soften it up some planting along here um so you know compromise wise Where Do We Go From Here
What is the Compromise to get this right for you because I want to get you know you got to get it right with the last one yeah we we we we can’t compromise that much on The View um we we do need a nice view where we’re going to be able

Pretty much every angle all at a price of just under 1.4 million I’m meeting the agent for a tour hey Mariana lovely to meet you look at this place yeah it’s a very beautiful property indeed it was it is a full bedroom luxury house traditional in a way well it is in in
The sense that it’s built from I’m guessing local stone is exctly the the stones were brought from the plot from this very yeah during the excavation they took this uh stones out and we use them to build that sounds like a very Green Way of building I’m looking
Forward to seeing yeah please come in I will s you around so this property was actually finished last year really yeah what we wanted to do to combine modern style contemporary Style with uh local elements and that’s why you are going to see we have this stone wall over there
The colors actually are from outside the green color of the Trees of the olive trees the blue color of uh the sea yeah on the tiles of the on the stairs as well maybe that’s why it feels so calm in here probably it is like the outside
Just sort of drifted in exactly wow yeah that’s exactly what we want to do here what a lovely bedroom oh my goodness yes this is one of the four bedrooms of the property and oh we’ve on sweet bathrooms as well right exactly the property has in total five bathrooms

And the nearest town despite its remote location it’s a very popular ERA with fires Scandinavians in particular so to get somewhere I think gives cliff and Al all the space thereafter along with everything else had to go just over their maximum budget down this lovely driveway is our
